Is Yukon Gold Casino Legal and Licensed in Canada?
Yes — Yukon Gold Casino holds Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence 00972, and the site we checked from a Montréal IP is the rest-of-Canada version run by Fresh Horizons Limited. It is not a provincial licence, and that distinction shapes what happens if something goes wrong.
We read the operator’s terms, bonus page, FAQ, fair-play page and responsible-gambling page on October 13, 2026, from a Canadian IP. We did not open a funded account. Everything below comes from those pages and the screenshots we captured.

Kahnawake Licence 00972 and Who Runs the Site
The terms name Fresh Horizons Limited, registered at Palm Grove House, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, as the company managing the brand. The same clause states that Yukon Gold is licensed under the Kahnawake Gaming Commission with licence number 00972, and the footer links to the commission’s certificate page.
The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission is a First Nations regulator located in Quebec, in the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke. It licenses interactive gaming from that territory. It is not a provincial regulator, so it does not replace the protection you get from a site run or licensed by your province.
| 🏛️ Item | 📋 What the operator’s pages say |
|---|---|
| Operator | Fresh Horizons Limited (British Virgin Islands) |
| Licence | Kahnawake Gaming Commission, licence 00972 |
| Certificate | Linked in the site footer |
| RNG audit | eCOGRA, results published |
| Dispute body (ADR) | eCOGRA; regulator complaints to complaints@gamingcommission.ca |
| Complaint time limit | 6 months |
| Minimum age | 19, or the age of majority where you live if higher |
On paper, this is one of the more transparent licence set-ups among offshore brands open to Canadians: a named company, a numbered licence and an independent dispute route.
Ontario and Alberta Players
Yukon Gold Casino is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission — not by a Canadian provincial regulator. The brand also appears on iGaming Ontario’s list, and Ontario residents are directed to that separate, AGCO-regulated Yukon Gold site, which runs under its own rules. This review covers only the rest-of-Canada site at yukongold.casino. See our Ontario online casinos guide for the provincial market.
Alberta launched its own regulated iGaming market on July 13, 2026, run by the AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation. If you live in Ontario or Alberta, use your province’s regulated sites. Elsewhere, remember that a dispute goes to the operator, eCOGRA and Kahnawake — not to your province. Our page on whether online gambling is legal in Canada explains how the Criminal Code, s.207 leaves gambling to the provinces.
Fair Play: eCOGRA and the Highest Win Rate Claim
The fair-play page says the random number generator is independently reviewed by eCOGRA, with results published. The site also advertises a Casino Rewards “Highest Win Rate Guarantee”, which means it offers the highest-RTP version of each game its providers supply.
The guarantee comes with its own disclaimer: it is not a promise of outcomes. A higher RTP shaves the house edge over millions of spins; in a single evening session, variance still decides everything. If payout percentages matter to you, our best payout casinos guide explains how to read them.
A Note on Currency
Amounts on the bonus and FAQ pages are shown with a plain “$”. The winners ticker shows “CA$” wins and the FAQ lists a Canada-only CAD EFT withdrawal, but no page we read says outright that accounts are held in Canadian dollars. We quote amounts exactly as the site shows them. Check the currency in the cashier when you register.
Yukon Gold Welcome Bonus: 150 Chances for $10
The welcome offer is 150 spins on Mega Money Wheel for a $10 first deposit, then a 100% match up to $150 on your second deposit. Both parts carry 200x play-through. We verified this on the operator’s site in October 2026 (the bonus page shows “Updated: 10/30/2025”, the T&C “Updated: 7/20/2026”).

First Deposit: 150 Spins on Mega Money Wheel
Deposit at least $10 and you receive 150 “chances” as free spins on Mega Money Wheel, each valued at $0.10. That puts the face value of the package at $15. The “$1 Million” in the headline is the top prize on the wheel, not a sum you are likely to see.
Note that Mega Money Wheel is a wheel game rather than a classic slot. Winnings from the spins are credited as bonus funds, so they fall under the same play-through. One exception stands out in the terms: if you land the top prize, you can contact support to have it converted to cash.
How to Claim the Yukon Gold Welcome Offer
- Register through the lobby registration page with your real name, address and date of birth.
- Deposit within 7 days — the terms say your first deposit must be made within 7 days of registering.
- Fund at least $10 to unlock the 150 spins on Mega Money Wheel.
- Play the spins and track any winnings in your bonus balance.
- Make a second deposit to receive the 100% match up to $150.
- Finish the play-through on slots before you request a withdrawal; cashing out early forfeits the remaining bonus.
Second Deposit: 100% Match Up to $150
The second deposit is doubled, up to $150 in bonus money. Deposit $50 and you get $50 bonus; deposit $150 or more and you hit the cap. The bonus page doesn’t state a separate minimum for this deposit, so assume the site’s usual $10 floor applies.
Welcome Bonus Terms at a Glance
| 📌 Term | 🎁 1st deposit | 💰 2nd deposit |
|---|---|---|
| Offer | 150 spins on Mega Money Wheel ($0.10 each) | 100% match up to $150 |
| Minimum deposit | $10 | Not stated separately |
| Play-through | 200x | 200x |
| Slots contribution | 100% | 100% |
| Table, live, parlour games | 2% | 2% |
| Max single bet | Under 25% of the bonus value | Under 25% of the bonus value |
| Deadline | Deposit within 7 days of signing up | Unused bonuses forfeited 60 days after registration |
The table makes one thing obvious: the deposit is small, but the conditions attached to it are anything but.
What 200x Wagering Means in Real Bets
A 200x play-through means you must bet 200 times the bonus before it becomes withdrawable cash. It is one of the strictest wagering requirements you will find at a casino open to Canadians, where 30x–45x is far more common. Here is what it looks like with real numbers.
| 🎯 Bonus amount | 🔁 Wagering | 🎰 Bets on slots (100%) | 🃏 Bets on live/table games (2%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $5 won on the spins | 200x | $1,000 | $50,000 |
| $10 | 200x | $2,000 | $100,000 |
| $50 | 200x | $10,000 | $500,000 |
| $100 (T&C example) | 200x | about $20,000 | $1,000,000 |
| $150 (max match) | 200x | $30,000 | $1,500,000 |
Put simply, clearing a maxed-out $150 match means $30,000 in slot spins — 30,000 spins at $1, or 150,000 at $0.20.
With a typical slot returning around 96%, the expected loss on $30,000 of turnover is roughly $1,200 — eight times the bonus itself. That is why we treat the match as entertainment credit rather than value. Our wagering requirements guide walks through the same maths for other offers.
Watch out:
A single bet of 25% or more of the bonus value counts as irregular play. On a $150 bonus that is $37.50 — keep each spin well below it. Autoplay, double-up and even-money bets on roulette, craps and sic bo are also flagged.
Game Contribution and Excluded Titles
Slots count 100% toward the play-through. Table games, parlour games, live casino and everything else count only 2%, so a $10 blackjack hand clears just 20 cents. All Aces Video Poker and Flippin’ Awesome Shields of Asgard count 0%, and double-up features don’t count at all.
If you prefer blackjack or live dealer tables, the bonus is effectively unusable for you. Play those games with cash and skip the match.
Our Take on the Welcome Bonus
The first-deposit spins are a cheap lottery ticket: $10 in, $15 of spins, and a small chance at the wheel’s top prize, which can be cashed via support. The 200x match on the second deposit is a poor deal for most players. If you take it, deposit modestly, stick to slots and treat any withdrawal as a bonus on top of your entertainment. For gentler offers, compare our welcome bonus guide.
Casino Rewards Loyalty and Later Bonuses
Yukon Gold doesn’t list any standing promotions beyond the welcome offer on its public pages. Its ongoing value comes from the Casino Rewards Loyalty Program, shared across the whole group. Every real-money player joins automatically.
Six Status Levels
The FAQ describes six status levels. Benefits listed include bigger bonuses, more promotions, priority support, birthday gifts, exclusive games, personal VIP hosts, and entries into the Time Of Your Life Sweepstakes and VIP Lucky Jackpot. The pages don’t publish the exact thresholds for each tier.
How Loyalty Points Convert
Every 100 points is worth $1 in casino chips, and you can redeem once you hold at least 1,000 points. The FAQ says credits land within five minutes. Because the program is group-wide, points earned here also count at other Casino Rewards casinos.
| ⭐ Points balance | 💵 Chip value | ✅ Redeemable? |
|---|---|---|
| 500 | $5 | No (minimum 1,000) |
| 1,000 | $10 | Yes |
| 2,500 | $25 | Yes |
| 10,000 | $100 | Yes |
The pages don’t say how many points each dollar wagered earns, so we can’t calculate a cashback-style return rate.
Bonuses From the Third Deposit: 30x
The terms set play-through at 30x for bonuses from your third deposit onward. That is a different world from 200x: a $50 bonus at 30x means $1,500 in slot bets instead of $10,000. If you plan to stay with the brand, these later offers are where the realistic value sits. See our casino bonus hub for how 30x compares across Canada.
Pro Tip:
Already playing at a Casino Rewards sister site? Your status and points travel with you, so check your existing balance before chasing tiers from scratch.
Yukon Gold Games: Slots, Jackpots and Live Tables
The casino-games page claims over 1,000 games, split into slots, roulette, blackjack, video poker, progressives, table games, Real Dealer live games and exclusives. No software provider is named on the public pages, so we can’t list studios.

| 🎮 Category | 🎲 Titles named on the site | 🔁 Bonus contribution |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | Thunderstruck Wild Lightning, 9 Masks of Fire, Book of Oz, Agent Jane Blonde Returns, Immortal Romance | 100% |
| Progressive jackpots | Mega Moolah, Mega Vault Millionaire, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah | 100% (slots) |
| Blackjack | Atlantic City Blackjack | 2% |
| Live dealer | Real Roulette with Holly | 2% |
| Video poker | All Aces Video Poker | 0% |
The lineup leans heavily on slots and jackpots — which fits a bonus that only really works on slots.
Online Slots
The slot titles highlighted on the site are well-known names: Thunderstruck Wild Lightning, 9 Masks of Fire, Book of Oz, Agent Jane Blonde Returns and Immortal Romance. That points to a classic, established catalogue rather than a lobby chasing the newest releases. For slot basics like RTP and volatility, see our online slots guide.
Progressive Jackpots and Mega Moolah
Jackpots are the headline here. On October 13, 2026, the jackpot page showed the Mega Moolah family at $15,251,902.98 and a total of $15,312,142.02 across all listed jackpots. Titles include Mega Vault Millionaire, Mega Moolah, Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, Immortal Romance Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II Mega Moolah, Treasure Nile and Cash Splash.

The page itself warns that progressives are “not available in all regions” and subject to availability. Jackpot slots also tend to have lower base-game returns, because part of each bet feeds the prize pool — fine for a dream spin, less so for grinding wagering.
Live Dealer Games
A Real Dealer section exists, with Real Roulette with Holly named on the games page. Live games count only 2% toward bonus play-through, so play them with cash. Our online roulette guide explains why single-zero tables (2.70% house edge) beat double-zero ones.
Table Games and Video Poker
RNG blackjack (Atlantic City Blackjack is named), roulette and video poker round out the catalogue. These games usually carry a lower house edge than slots when played well, which makes them a sensible choice for cash play — just not for clearing a bonus.
Casino Only: No Sportsbook
Yukon Gold is a casino-only brand: there’s no sportsbook on the site, and the public pages don’t list crash titles. If you want fast multiplier games, our crash games guide covers where to find them.
Yukon Gold Payments: Deposits and Withdrawals
You can deposit from $10 with Interac or a card, and withdraw from $50 through Visa, CAD EFT/eCheck or Skrill. The catch is timing: every withdrawal sits 48 hours in pending before it is processed. Details below come from the FAQ, verified on the operator’s site in October 2026.
| 💳 Method | ⬇️ Min deposit | ⬆️ Withdrawal | ⏱️ Time after processing | 💸 Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | $10 | — | — | None from casino |
| Visa | $10 | Yes (OCT direct credit) | 3 working days | None |
| Mastercard | $10 | Timing listed | 3 working days | None |
| CAD EFT / eCheck | — | Yes (Canada only) | 2–3 working days | None |
| Skrill | — | Yes | 1–3 working days | None |
| Direct Bank Transfer (wire) | — | Yes, min $300 | 6–10 working days | $50; $100 over $3,000 |
For most Canadians, Interac in and CAD EFT or Skrill out is the cheapest and simplest route.
Deposit Methods
The FAQ says the casino accepts major credit and debit cards, bank transfer services, prepaid vouchers and popular e-wallets. Interac is confirmed, with deposits processed by PayDirect Billing Solutions Inc. The complete list only shows inside the cashier after login, so we don’t name methods the public pages don’t confirm.
The casino charges no deposit fees, though your bank or wallet may. Some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards; our credit card casinos page explains the workarounds that are legitimate, such as using debit or Interac instead.
Withdrawal Methods for Canada
The FAQ lists three withdrawal routes “currently available to Canada”: OCT to Visa cards, CAD EFT/eCheck, and Skrill. Bank wire is also described in the general fee schedule. Interac is not listed as a withdrawal option, so plan your exit route before your first deposit.
The 48-Hour Pending Period
Requests stay pending for 48 hours, then are processed the next business day. Add the method’s own time and a CAD EFT request made on a Thursday evening can realistically land the following Wednesday or Thursday. A first withdrawal to a new method can need extra verification of up to 5–7 working days.
You can reverse a withdrawal while it’s pending. That is convenient, but it is also why the pending window exists — it tempts you to keep playing. If you want fast cashouts, read our payments hub for quicker options elsewhere.
Withdrawal Limits and the $4,000 Weekly Cap
The minimum withdrawal is $50 ($300 by wire). The terms add a key rule: if you win a sum substantially greater than your total purchases across all Casino Rewards casinos, payouts are capped at $4,000 per week. Daily limits may also split a payout over several weekdays.
In practice: deposit $100 in total, land a $20,000 win, and you could be paid over five weeks. It isn’t a deal-breaker for most players, but jackpot hunters should know it. The terms also say withdrawal limits vary by location and withdrawal method.
Fees to Watch
CAD EFT, Visa and Skrill withdrawals are free. A bank wire costs $50, or $100 above $3,000 — on a $300 wire that’s a sixth of your money. A 2.5% fee applies when the withdrawal is in a different currency from your account.
Pro Tip:
Skip the wire. CAD EFT is free and takes 2–3 working days after processing; Skrill can be even quicker at 1–3 days.
Yukon Gold on Mobile
Yukon Gold runs in your phone’s browser through its lobby at lobby.play.yukongold.casino; no native iOS or Android app is named on the site. That means no app-store download — just open the site, log in and play.
Browser Lobby on Phones and Tablets
The FAQ refers to a promotions section on “mobile/tablet” devices, so the mobile lobby carries the account features you need. Browser play keeps storage free and updates automatic. For tips on choosing a phone-friendly site, see our mobile casinos guide.
Outdated Desktop Client Text
Parts of the FAQ still describe a downloadable desktop client and mention Adobe Flash and Windows 7 in system requirements. That text looks out of date next to the browser lobby. It doesn’t affect play, but it tells you the help pages aren’t always current — another reason to check terms in the cashier.
How to Sign Up at Yukon Gold
Registration takes a few minutes, but verification is what decides how fast you get paid. Here’s the process as described on the registration page and in the terms.
- Open the registration page in the Yukon Gold lobby.
- Enter accurate details — name, address, date of birth and email must match your ID.
- Confirm you’re 19+ (or the age of majority where you live, if higher).
- Set a deposit limit through support before you play if you want one.
- Make your first deposit of at least $10 within 7 days to get the welcome spins.
- Upload your documents early so your first withdrawal isn’t held.
KYC Documents You May Be Asked For
Documents can be requested after a deposit or before a withdrawal, and the terms say they may need to be notarised. Withdrawals may not be processed until verification is complete, and source-of-funds checks are possible.
| 🪪 Check | 📄 Accepted documents |
|---|---|
| Identity | Passport, driver’s licence or government ID card |
| Residence | Bank statement or utility bill, no older than 3 months |
| Payment ownership | Card copy, bank statement or e-wallet screenshots |
| Source of funds | Possible on request |
Having these ready on day one is the single easiest way to shorten your first payout.
One Bonus per Household
The bonus terms allow one welcome offer per person, household, IP address and device. If someone in your home already plays here, a second account claiming the bonus is likely to be flagged.
Yukon Gold Customer Support
Support runs 24/7 by live chat and email at support@crhelpdesk.com. The contact page says emails are usually answered within 48 hours. No phone number is published.

Live Chat
Live chat is the right channel for quick questions about bonus status or a pending withdrawal. It is also the channel you’ll use for limits and self-exclusion, since these are set via support rather than in a self-serve menu.
Email and Banking Contacts
Use email for anything you want in writing, such as a disputed bonus or a document request. The FAQ also lists banking@casinorewards.com for card deposit problems. Keep copies — if you ever escalate to eCOGRA, a paper trail matters.
Site Languages
The site switches between English, French and Austrian German. French is useful for players in Quebec and New Brunswick, though the site lists these as interface languages rather than promising support in each.
Safety and Responsible Gambling Tools
Yukon Gold offers deposit limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion, plus PlayCheck history so you can see exactly what you’ve played. Most tools are requested through support rather than switched on yourself.
| 🛡️ Tool | ⚙️ How it works |
|---|---|
| Deposit limits | Daily, weekly or monthly; set via support; increases take effect after 24 hours |
| Cooling-off | 24 hours to 6 weeks |
| Self-exclusion | 6 months, irreversible once applied; via support plus email |
| Kahnawake self-exclusion | Link to the commission’s comprehensive programme |
| Self-assessment | Online test |
| Play history | PlayCheck and Transaction History in the software |
| Blocking software | Cyberpatrol, Cybersitter, Netnanny suggested |
The toolkit is solid; the friction of asking support rather than clicking a button is its weak spot.
Limits and Cooling-Off
The 24-hour delay on raising a limit is a good safeguard: it stops you from lifting a cap in the heat of a losing session. Set your limit at sign-up, when you’re thinking clearly.
Self-Exclusion Across the Group
Self-exclusion lasts six months and can’t be reversed once applied. The site also links to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission’s comprehensive self-exclusion. If you exclude, do it properly across all sites — never look for a way around it.
Where to Get Help in Canada
The site links to NCPG and Gamblers Anonymous, which are US-centred. Canadian lines are closer to home: ConnexOntario 1-866-531-2600, Quebec Gambling: Help and Referral 1-800-461-0140, BC Problem Gambling Help Line 1-888-795-6111, and Yukon 1-866-456-3838. Our responsible gambling page lists every province.
How Yukon Gold Compares
Against its Casino Rewards siblings, Yukon Gold has the same licence and 200x terms but a pricier entry. Against Casino Days, it loses on wagering and game count. Here are the verified numbers side by side.
| 🏆 Casino | 🎁 Welcome offer | 🔁 Wagering | 🏛️ Licence | 🎮 Games |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yukon Gold | 150 spins for $10 + 100% to $150 | 200x (30x from 3rd deposit) | Kahnawake 00972 | Over 1,000 |
| Zodiac Casino | 80 spins for $1 + up to $480 on deposits 2–5 | 200x (30x from 3rd deposit) | Kahnawake 00972 | Over 1,000 |
| Captain Cooks | 100 spins for $5 + up to $475 on deposits 2–5 | 200x (30x from 3rd deposit) | Kahnawake 00972 | — |
| Casino Days | 100% up to $2,000 + 100 free spins | 35x | Kahnawake CPA 01054 | 6,500+ |
If low wagering matters most, Casino Days is the clear step up; if you want the Casino Rewards ecosystem, Zodiac and Captain Cooks are cheaper doors in.
Yukon Gold vs Zodiac Casino
Same operator, same licence, same 200x and same loyalty program. Zodiac asks only $1 for 80 spins on Mega Money Wheel and spreads up to $480 in matches over deposits two to five. Yukon Gold gives more spins (150) but charges $10 and caps the match at $150.
Yukon Gold vs Captain Cooks
Captain Cooks sits in the middle: 100 spins for $5, then up to $475 across four more deposits. Both share the $50 minimum withdrawal and the $300 minimum on wires. Choosing between them is mostly about how many spins you want for your first deposit.
Yukon Gold vs Casino Days
Casino Days offers a 100% match up to $2,000 plus 100 free spins at 35x. On a $100 bonus that’s $3,500 in bets instead of Yukon Gold’s $20,000. It also lists 6,500+ games and a $10 Interac withdrawal minimum. It’s a different operator, licensed under Kahnawake CPA 01054.
- Interac Payouts From C$10
- 6,500+ Games, 1,000+ Live
- iOS and Android Apps
Yukon Gold Rating by Category
Yukon Gold scores 75/100 overall: strong on licensing and safety tools, held back by 200x wagering and slow withdrawals. The breakdown follows our rating methodology.
| 📊 Category | ⭐ Score /100 | 📝 Why |
|---|---|---|
| Licence & transparency | 84 | Named operator, Kahnawake 00972, eCOGRA audit and ADR |
| Bonuses | 56 | Cheap entry, but 200x play-through on the first two bonuses |
| Payments | 72 | Interac, free CAD EFT; 48h pending and $4,000/week cap |
| Games | 78 | 1,000+ games and big Mega Moolah jackpots; providers not named |
| Mobile | 74 | Browser lobby works; no native app; dated FAQ text |
| Support & RG | 84 | 24/7 chat and email; full RG toolkit via support |
| Overall | 75 | Average of the six categories |
The bonus score drags the total down; everything else is respectable.
Where Yukon Gold Earns Its Points
Licensing, dispute routes and responsible-gambling tools are better documented than at many offshore sites. The group loyalty program and jackpot lineup add long-term appeal.
Where It Loses Points
The 200x welcome wagering, 2% contribution for table games, 48-hour pending period and costly bank wires all cost the player time or money.
Who Yukon Gold Suits
Yukon Gold suits slot and jackpot players who deposit small amounts and value a long-standing, licensed brand over bonus value. It doesn’t suit bonus hunters or table-game regulars.
A Good Fit If You…
- Want a $10 entry with a shot at a big wheel prize.
- Chase Mega Moolah-style progressive jackpots.
- Already collect Casino Rewards points at a sister site.
- Withdraw by CAD EFT or Skrill and don’t mind waiting a few days.
Look Elsewhere If You…
- Want a match bonus you can realistically clear.
- Play mostly blackjack, roulette or live dealer games.
- Need same-day withdrawals.
- Live in Ontario or Alberta — use your province’s regulated sites.
