New Online Casinos in Canada 2026: Launch Years Checked

The newest online casinos in Canada with a confirmed launch year are Need for Spin (2022), Rolling Slots (2021) and Casino Days (2020), while 22Casino holds a Kahnawake licence issued May 13, 2026. 22Casino scores highest (91/100); Casino Days (88/100) is our pick for Interac.

Every year below comes from the operator’s own About page or licence notice, read from a Canadian IP in October 2026. Where a site gives no launch year, we say so instead of guessing.

These are offshore sites, not regulated by your province. If you live in Ontario or Alberta, use your Ontario regulated sites or Alberta’s regulated market instead.

The Newest Online Casinos in Canada by Launch Year

Need for Spin is the newest casino on our list with a launch year stated by the operator (2022), followed by Rolling Slots (2021) and Casino Days (2020). 22Casino looks newer still, but it publishes no launch year — what we can confirm is a Kahnawake licence issued on May 13, 2026.

Plenty of “new casino” lists fill their tables with sites that opened years ago, or with launch dates nobody can trace. We took a stricter route. A year appears in the table below only if the operator states it on its own About page, footer or licence notice, and we read those pages from a Canadian IP in October 2026.

For contrast, we added two older brands from our reviews. They show what an established operator’s history looks like when it is stated in plain words.

Only four of the sites we review fall in the 2020–2026 window, and just three of them give an actual launch year.

Need for Spin’s lobby (below, captured from Canada in October 2026) is organised the way a 2022 build tends to be: categories for “Bonus Friendly” and “Bonus Buy” games, an “Instant Win” section and a separate live casino area. These are small design choices, but they reflect how newer sites are organised around the way people actually play now.

What Counts as a “New” Online Casino?

A casino is genuinely new when the operator itself says it launched recently — everything else is a different kind of “new”. Four different things get sold under the same label, and only one of them tells you how young the business really is.

New by Launch Date

This is the meaning most players have in mind: a site that opened its doors recently. It is also the hardest to verify, because many operators simply never publish a launch year. When they do, it usually sits on the About page — Need for Spin, Rolling Slots and Casino Days all state theirs there.

New Licence, Not Necessarily a New Site

A licence date tells you when a regulator authorised the operator, not when the brand opened. 22Casino’s footer reads “Kahnawake license No. 01056 issued on 13 May 2026”, which is the most recent licence date among our reviewed sites.

The reverse also happens. Need for Spin, Rolling Slots, Winshark and Wild Tokyo all run under licence OGL/2024/589/0556 from the Curaçao Gaming Control Board — a 2024-series number under Curaçao’s new framework — yet Rolling Slots says it started in 2021. A fresh licence number can sit on an older casino.

New to Our List

In October 2026 we added ten reviews: Casino Days, eight Casino Rewards sites (Zodiac, Luxury, Grand Mondial, Captain Cooks, Golden Tiger, Casino Classic, Yukon Gold and Quatro) and Everygame. They are new to this site — not new casinos. Captain Cooks says it has been “Operating since 2000”, and Casino Classic says it was “Established in 2000”.

Rebrands and Sister Sites

A new name on an old business is a rebrand, and the operator’s history carries over. Everygame is a good reminder to read the fine print: its casino pages are fresh-looking, but the brand describes its sportsbook as “founded in 1996”.

Sister sites are the other trap. When one company launches a second or third casino, the new brand inherits the parent’s terms word for word. That is exactly what we found with GBL Solutions N.V.: the same C$7 maximum bet with a bonus, the same 48-hour activation window and the same 5-day bonus validity across all four of its sites.

Before you treat any site as “new”, work out which of these four labels actually applies.

Pro Tip:
Scroll to the footer before you sign up. The operating company, licence number and copyright years usually sit there, and they tell you more about a site’s age than any “new casino” badge on the homepage.

Best New Online Casinos in Canada Reviewed

Our four picks are 22Casino (91/100), Casino Days (88/100), Need for Spin (86/100) and Rolling Slots (85/100). Each is either a 2020-or-later launch or holds a 2026 licence. All four are offshore: they are not regulated by a Canadian province, and every offer below was verified on the operator’s site in October 2026.

Best Newly Licensed Casino: 22Casino

22Casino is run by Starsten Ltd. (British Virgin Islands) under Kahnawake licence No. 01056, issued on May 13, 2026. That is a licence from this year, held by a site whose footer copyright reads “2025 – 2026”. It is not licensed by a Canadian provincial regulator, so Ontario and Alberta residents should stick to their province’s regulated sites.

The welcome package is quoted in CAD: up to C$2,360 + 150 free spins on the homepage, and up to C$2,250 + 150 free spins on the promotions page. We could not find a bonus-terms page that settles the difference, so plan around the lower C$2,250 figure. A “Golden Crypto” promotion adds 10% on top of crypto deposits.

Support runs 24/7/365 by live chat, and the responsible-gambling toolkit is solid for a young site: daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits (raising a limit takes 24 hours), self-exclusion for up to five years and a cool-off option. One clause deserves attention: the terms allow up to 30 calendar days to pay winnings, despite the homepage banner promising “Instant Withdrawals”.

The lobby screenshot below shows how wide the menu is: live casino, TV games, bingo, virtual sports, crash, keno and a “22games” category all sit in the navigation.

Best New Casino for Interac: Casino Days

Casino Days says it launched in 2020 and runs its Canadian site under Kahnawake Client Provider Authorization 01054, operated by Indigo Nova Limited (Cyprus). It is not regulated by your province. The operator runs a separate site for Ontario, so the Kahnawake-licensed /ca site is not the one for Ontario residents.

The welcome offer is 100% up to C$2,000 + 100 free spins on Gates of Casino Days Super Scatter (C$0.20 per spin), from a C$20 deposit. The wagering is 35x the bonus only, not deposit plus bonus, and you get 7 days to finish it. The maximum bet with bonus funds is C$10, and you must claim the offer under “Your Rewards” before depositing.

Where Casino Days pulls ahead of the other new sites is its cashier. The payments page lists Interac and Interac e-Transfer for both deposits and withdrawals from C$10, iDebit withdrawals from C$25, and crypto (BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, DOGE, USDT) up to C$50,000. Native iOS and Android apps are linked from the footer.

Need for Spin: Newest Confirmed Launch (2022)

Need for Spin is operated by GBL Solutions N.V. under Curaçao GCB licence OGL/2024/589/0556 and states 2022 as its start. It is licensed in Curaçao, not by a Canadian province. Accounts and offers on the /ca site are shown in Canadian dollars.

The homepage advertises a Welcome Pack of 250% up to C$4,500 + 550 free spins. The three deposit offers on the promotions page add up to C$4,100 + 500 spins: 100% up to C$1,200 + 200 FS, then 80% up to C$1,500 + 150 FS, then 70% up to C$1,400 + 150 FS. The welcome wagering multiplier wasn’t stated on the pages we read, so check it in your account before opting in.

Beyond the welcome pack, the recurring cashback is what stands out: 5% daily, 7% daily for VIPs and 15% weekly up to C$500. The 50-level loyalty program and a VIP Club with a personal manager round it out. The flip side is a withdrawal cap of C$750 per day and C$10,500 per month at loyalty levels 1–10.

Rolling Slots: Biggest Catalogue of the New Sites

Rolling Slots states 2021 as its launch year and shares Need for Spin’s operator and Curaçao licence. It is not regulated by a Canadian province. Its main claim is size: more than 15,000 games, including live casino, game shows, instant-win titles and crash games such as Aviator and Chicken Road 2.0.

The headline Welcome Pack is 300% up to C$5,800 + 750 free spins across four deposits. The four deposit cards on the site add up to C$5,300 + 700 spins, so treat the larger number as marketing. Minimum withdrawals are low: C$15 by bank transfer, C$30 for other methods and C$80 for crypto.

The loyalty program has 100 levels, and withdrawal limits rise with them — from C$750 a day and C$15,000 a month at levels 1–10, up to C$1,600 a day and C$40,000 a month at levels 86–100. If you play small, the entry cap will rarely bite. If you chase big wins, it will.

Winshark and Wild Tokyo: Same Operator, No Launch Year

Winshark (84/100) and Wild Tokyo (82/100) belong to the same GBL Solutions N.V. family and hold the same Curaçao licence, but neither states a launch year, so we leave them out of the “newest” table. Wild Tokyo has moved domains, though: wildtokyo.com now redirects to wildtokyocasino.com.

Winshark is worth knowing for one reason: it is the only site in this family whose welcome terms state the multiplier — 45x the bonus amount. That gives you a realistic benchmark for its sister sites, whose welcome wagering wasn’t published on the pages we read.

Welcome Bonuses at New Casinos Compared

New casinos advertise bigger welcome totals, but the most usable offer among them is the smallest: Casino Days’ 100% up to C$2,000 with 35x on the bonus only. The headline number is the least useful part of any bonus; wagering, the maximum bet and the time limit decide whether you ever see the money.

All the terms in the table were verified on each operator’s site in October 2026. Where a figure wasn’t published on the pages we read, the cell says so — it doesn’t mean the term doesn’t exist, only that you need to check it in your account before opting in.

Only two of the five new-casino welcome offers publish a wagering multiplier, which makes those two the easiest to judge before you deposit.

Worked Example: Casino Days at 35x

Deposit C$200 and you get a C$200 bonus. At 35x the bonus, you need C$7,000 in bets before the bonus turns into withdrawable cash. Spread over the 7-day limit, that is about C$1,000 of spins a day — realistic for a daily slot player on C$1–C$2 spins, a stretch for someone who logs in on weekends.

Because the multiplier applies to the bonus only, your own C$200 isn’t part of the calculation. On a “deposit + bonus” offer, the same 35x would mean C$14,000 of play. Our guide to wagering requirements walks through more of these sums.

Worked Example: Winshark at 45x

Winshark’s standard first deposit gives 100% up to C$235 from C$30. A full C$235 bonus at 45x means C$10,575 of bets, and the bonus is valid for only 5 days after activation. That works out to more than C$2,000 a day — fine for a high-volume player, a trap for a casual one.

The C$3,945 headline also needs explaining. It is only reachable on the High-Roller path: a first deposit of C$790 or more for 50% up to C$3,155 + 100 spins, plus the second and third deposit bonuses. On the standard path, the three deposits top out at C$1,025.

Why Headline Totals Don’t Always Add Up

Three of the new sites advertise a welcome total that is bigger than the sum of the deposit offers they list. We are flagging it because it changes what you should expect:

  • Need for Spin: C$4,500 + 550 FS on the homepage; the three deposit offers add up to C$4,100 + 500 FS.
  • Rolling Slots: C$5,800 + 750 FS on the homepage; the four deposit cards add up to C$5,300 + 700 FS.
  • 22Casino: C$2,360 on the homepage, C$2,250 on the promotions page, both with 150 FS.

The gap may come from side offers like an Easy Start bonus or a high-roller option, but none of the sites explains it. Plan around the lower figure, and treat the extra as a possible bonus rather than a promise.

Max Bet and Game Rules Matter More at New Sites

Newer casinos tend to write tight bonus rules, and breaking one can void your winnings. At the GBL Solutions sites, the C$7 maximum bet includes bonus-buy features and doubled bets, and live dealer, table games and jackpots can’t be played with an active bonus at all; roulette counts only 5% towards wagering.

Casino Days counts slots at 100% and most live games at 10%, and bans crash and mine games from bonus play. If you mainly play live casino tables, a welcome bonus at any of these sites will mostly get in your way — you may be better off declining it.

Watch out:
At Need for Spin and Rolling Slots, a bonus must be activated within 48 hours of being credited and then cleared within 5 days. If you deposit on a Friday night and only play on Sundays, you can lose the bonus before you start.

Reloads and Cashback After the Welcome Pack

New sites compete hard on what happens after sign-up, and this is where they often beat older brands. Need for Spin pays 5% daily cashback (7% for VIPs) and 15% weekly up to C$500. Rolling Slots offers 5% daily and 10% weekly up to C$300, plus a 30% Wednesday reload up to C$450.

Winshark’s Monday “Floating Cashback” runs from 8% to 15% by loyalty rank, but rank 1 (levels 1–10) gets nothing, so new players won’t see it straight away. Casino Days keeps cashback for its invite-only VIP club. For a wider view of these deals, see our welcome bonus guide.

Payments and Withdrawal Limits at New Casinos

Casino Days has the most complete Canadian cashier of the new sites, with Interac both ways from C$10; the GBL Solutions sites list cards, e-wallets, bank transfer and crypto but don’t name Interac. Withdrawal caps are the bigger difference, and they are far lower at the newer Curaçao sites for players on entry levels.

If you hope to cash out a big win quickly, the daily cap matters more than the bonus size.

Interac at New Casinos

Interac e-Transfer is the method most Canadians want, and it is the clearest gap between new sites. Casino Days lists Interac deposits from C$10 to C$3,000 and Interac e-Transfer from C$10 to C$9,999, with withdrawals on both. The GBL Solutions sites name no Canadian bank method on the pages we read.

If Interac matters to you, start from our Interac casino list rather than from the newest sites. Casino Days is the only brand-new name that ticks this box clearly.

How Fast Do New Casinos Pay?

Payout speed claims at new casinos rarely match their own terms, so read both. Casino Days says on its homepage that it processes “most requests within 5 minutes”, its Interac page says funds take 1 to 3 business days, and its terms allow five business days for uncontested withdrawals.

At Need for Spin and Rolling Slots, withdrawals are processed after verification, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00 (GMT+3) — roughly 02:00 to 11:00 in Toronto. A request made on Friday evening Eastern time may not be touched until Monday. If speed is your priority, compare these sites with our fast withdrawal casinos.

The 3x Turnover Fee to Know About

Need for Spin and Rolling Slots charge up to 10% commission if you withdraw before betting at least three times your deposit. Deposit C$100, play only C$150 and withdraw — you could lose C$10 or more to that clause. It exists to stop casinos being used as a payment pass-through, but it catches honest players who change their mind.

Crypto at New Casinos

Crypto is more common at new casinos than at established Canadian-facing brands. Casino Days accepts BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, DOGE and USDT with deposits up to C$50,000, and 22Casino adds 10% on crypto deposits through its Golden Crypto promotion. At the GBL Solutions sites, the crypto minimum withdrawal is C$80, more than five times the bank-transfer minimum. More on this in our crypto casino guide.

Pros and Cons of Playing at New Online Casinos

New casinos give you bigger welcome packages, more modern lobbies and more crypto options, in exchange for a shorter track record and tighter withdrawal rules. Whether that trade is worth it depends on how much you plan to deposit and how quickly you need to cash out.

Pros:

  • Larger headline welcome packages (up to C$5,800 + 750 FS at Rolling Slots)
  • Recurring cashback, from 5% daily to 15% weekly at Need for Spin
  • Huge lobbies: 8,000+ games at Need for Spin, 15,000+ at Rolling Slots
  • More crypto options and modern categories like Bonus Buy and Instant Win
  • Low minimum withdrawals, from C$10 at Casino Days and C$15 by bank transfer elsewhere

Cons:

  • Shorter track record: fewer years of paying players to judge
  • Headline bonus totals that don’t match the listed deposit offers
  • Short bonus windows: 5 days at the GBL Solutions sites, 7 at Casino Days
  • Daily withdrawal caps as low as C$750 for new accounts
  • Not regulated by any Canadian province, so no provincial dispute route

Why New Casinos Offer Bigger Bonuses

A new brand has no word of mouth, so it buys attention with a large number. The cost is managed through the terms: split packages across three or four deposits, short expiry windows, low maximum bets and long lists of excluded games. That is why a C$5,800 package and a C$2,000 package can end up worth similar amounts to a typical player.

The Track Record Problem

A casino that has paid players for twenty years has had twenty years to show how it handles disputes, large wins and verification. A two-year-old site hasn’t. That doesn’t make it unsafe, but it shifts the weight of your checks onto what you can read today: the licence, the terms and the withdrawal rules.

One partial shortcut: check who runs the site. A new brand from an operator that already runs several casinos — as with GBL Solutions N.V. and its four sites — inherits a set of terms you can compare across brands, even if the brand itself is young.

New Casinos vs Established Brands

Established brands like the Casino Rewards sites win on history and payment simplicity; new casinos win on bonus terms and game choice. The clearest example is wagering: Casino Rewards sites apply 200x to the first and second deposit bonuses, against 35x on the bonus at Casino Days.

Neither side wins every row, which is why your own playing style should decide between them.

Where Established Sites Still Win

The Casino Rewards sites offer very low entry points: Zodiac’s first offer is 80 chances on the Mega Money Wheel for a C$1 deposit. Zodiac also lists Interac deposits and a CAD EFT/eCheck withdrawal for Canada. If you want to deposit very little and your priority is a familiar, long-running brand, they make sense — just skip the 200x bonuses.

To put 200x in numbers: a C$150 first-deposit bonus at Luxury Casino would need C$30,000 in bets. That’s out of reach for nearly every recreational player, so treat those matches as decoration and judge the sites on the rest. Our minimum deposit casinos page covers the low-stakes angle in more detail.

Where New Sites Win

New casinos win wherever modern product matters: game count, crash and instant-win titles, bonus-buy categories, crypto cashiers and recurring cashback. Casino Days adds a real Canadian edge on top, with Interac withdrawals and native apps. For players who already know how bonus terms work, the newer sites usually give more for the same deposit.

How to Vet a New Online Casino Before You Deposit

You can vet a new casino in about fifteen minutes by checking five things: the licence, the bonus terms, the withdrawal rules, the verification process and the responsible-gambling tools. Do it before your first deposit, because once money is in the account, the terms already apply to you.

  1. Find the licence in the footer — note the issuer, the number and the operating company.
  2. Open the bonus terms — look for the wagering multiplier, what it applies to, the maximum bet and the time limit.
  3. Read the withdrawal section of the T&C — minimums, daily and monthly caps, processing hours and fees.
  4. Check the KYC rules — which documents, how long you have to send them and what happens if you don’t.
  5. Look for limits and self-exclusion — and set a deposit limit on day one.

Step 1: Check the Licence

A licence you can trace is the first test any new site must pass. Casino Days names the Kahnawake Gaming Commission and its CPA number 01054, and has a certificate on the Kahnawake Gaming Commission’s site. The GBL Solutions sites name the Curaçao Gaming Control Board and licence OGL/2024/589/0556.

Not every site does this. Kingmaker’s and Golisimo’s terms and footers don’t name the operating company or a gaming licence (checked October 2026). When that is missing at a brand-new site, you have even less to go on.

Step 2: Read the Bonus Terms First

Bonus terms tell you whether a welcome offer is worth taking. Look for four numbers: the wagering multiplier, whether it applies to the bonus or to deposit plus bonus, the maximum bet and the deadline. If a site doesn’t publish its multiplier, ask live chat before you deposit and keep a screenshot of the answer.

Step 3: Look at Withdrawal Caps

Withdrawal caps decide how fast a big win reaches your bank. At Need for Spin, a C$20,000 win on an entry-level account would take at least two months to withdraw under the C$10,500 monthly cap. If you play for big jackpots, check whether the cap rises with loyalty levels, as it does at Rolling Slots and Wild Tokyo.

Step 4: Know the KYC Rules

Every licensed casino verifies your identity, and new sites usually do it at your first withdrawal. Casino Days asks for government photo ID, proof of address from the last 3 months and proof of your payment method. Need for Spin and Rolling Slots give you 30 days to send documents and may confiscate winnings if you don’t, with reviews taking up to 72 hours.

Send your documents right after signing up, not after a win. Verification is a normal legal step — never try to get around it, and never use someone else’s details.

Step 5: Check the Safety Tools

Good responsible-gambling tools are a sign that the operator takes its licence seriously. Casino Days offers deposit, loss and wager limits, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion; Need for Spin and Rolling Slots offer Take a Break, Reality Check reminders at 60, 90 or 180 minutes and self-exclusion by email. Our safe online casinos guide goes deeper on these checks.

Red Flags in New Casino Terms

The biggest red flags at new casinos are hidden in the terms, not on the homepage. Each clause below was taken from the terms of a site we review, checked in October 2026 — none is unusual on its own, but several together should make you pause.

Read the terms with these clauses in mind, and you will rarely be surprised at the cashier.

Mixed Currencies

Some new sites quote amounts in CAD but leave parts of their terms in euros. 22Casino’s Kraken promotion requires five deposits of at least 20 EUR, and Casino Days’ default withdrawal caps are written in EUR. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it shows which parts of a site were built for Canada and which were copied from elsewhere.

Marketing That Contradicts the Terms

When the homepage and the terms disagree, the terms are what you’ll be held to. We saw this with payout speed at 22Casino and Casino Days, and with welcome totals at Need for Spin, Rolling Slots and 22Casino. Wild Tokyo’s homepage tile and its promotions page even show different first-deposit offers.

Games and Mobile Play at New Casinos

New casinos carry far larger game libraries than older brands: Rolling Slots claims 15,000+ games, Need for Spin 8,000+ and Casino Days 6,500+. Most of that growth comes from newer studios and instant-win games, rather than from the big classic providers.

Exclusive Slots

Exclusive titles are one way new casinos stand out. Casino Days has Gates of Casino Days Super Scatter, an exclusive Pragmatic Play slot that is also its welcome free-spin game. Need for Spin lists Need For Spin Super Elves by Spinomenal, marked “EXCLUSIVE”, and Rolling Slots carries Hell Spell by Formula Spin as an exclusive.

Crash and Instant-Win Games

Crash games are standard at new casinos. Rolling Slots carries Aviator by Spribe, Chicken Road 2.0 by InOut and Crash Live by ICONIC21; Casino Days lists Aviator and Plinko. Remember these titles are usually excluded from bonus play. Read our crash games guide before you try them.

Live Casino at New Sites

Casino Days advertises 1,000+ live tables, including 60+ live roulette tables from C$0.05 to C$2,000 and 100+ live baccarat tables. The GBL Solutions sites have live casino and game-show tabs, though their lobbies lean on newer live studios such as Imagine Live, ICONIC21 and Vivo Gaming at Rolling Slots.

Apps or Web Apps?

Most new casinos skip the app stores. Need for Spin, Rolling Slots and Wild Tokyo offer installable web apps via “Add to Home Screen” in Safari or Chrome, and 22Casino offers an Android APK plus a web app. Casino Days is the exception, with native iOS and Android apps — and an app-only weekly offer of 200 free spins on a C$20 deposit. See our mobile casinos page for more.

New offshore casinos are licensed outside your province, so they are not regulated by any Canadian provincial regulator. Under section 207 of the Criminal Code, gambling is legal when it is conducted and managed by a provincial government or under its licence, and each province decides how its own market works.

Disclosure: the casinos on this page hold licences from Kahnawake or Curaçao — not from a Canadian provincial regulator. If a dispute arises, you deal with the operator and its licensing body, not your province. Residents of Ontario and Alberta should use their province’s regulated sites: see our Ontario casino guide and our Alberta guide.

Whatever a site’s own minimum age, you must also meet your province’s legal age.

Ontario and Alberta

Ontario has had a regulated, competitive market since April 4, 2022, and Alberta’s regulated market launched on July 13, 2026. If you live in either province, use the regulated sites. Several operators, Casino Days among them, run separate Ontario sites, and TonyBet’s Kahnawake-licensed site explicitly excludes Ontario and Alberta.

Quebec and the Rest of Canada

Offshore sites accept players from Quebec, but they are not regulated by Quebec; Loto-Québec is the provincial option, and the legal age is 18+. Our Quebec casino guide covers this in detail. Elsewhere, the government-run sites listed above are the regulated choice, and our guide to online gambling laws in Canada explains the rest.

How We Track New Online Casinos

We only call a casino “new” when its operator states a recent launch year or licence date on its own pages. We read each site’s About page, footer, bonus terms, T&C, cashier pages and responsible-gambling pages from a Canadian IP, captured screenshots and compared the terms side by side. We did not open accounts or make deposits.

What We Score

Ratings are our overall editorial score: licence and transparency, bonus value and fairness of terms, Canadian payments, games and live casino, mobile, and support and responsible-gambling tools. A new site gets no points for being new. Full details are on our how we rate page.

How Often We Update This Page

This page reflects checks made in October 2026, when we also added ten new reviews to the site. Bonus amounts and withdrawal rules at new casinos change often, so always confirm the current terms on the operator’s site before depositing.

Play Safely at a New Casino

Treat a new casino like any other: set a budget, set a deposit limit on the day you sign up and stop when the budget is gone. A big welcome package is not a reason to deposit more than you planned.

If gambling stops being fun, free help is available in every province — for example ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600, the Alberta Addiction and Mental Health Helpline at 1-866-332-2322, and Quebec’s Gambling: Help and Referral line at 1-800-461-0140. Our responsible gambling page lists every provincial helpline.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Of the sites we review, Need for Spin has the most recent confirmed launch year (2022), followed by Rolling Slots (2021) and Casino Days (2020). 22Casino gives no launch year, but its Kahnawake licence was issued on May 13, 2026, and its footer copyright reads 2025–2026.

A new site can be safe if its licence is named and checkable, its bonus terms are complete and its withdrawal rules are clear. The weak point is track record: a young operator has less history to judge. Our safe casino guide explains the checks.

Headline totals are often bigger — Rolling Slots advertises up to C$5,800 + 750 free spins — but the terms decide the value. Casino Days offers less (up to C$2,000) yet applies 35x to the bonus only, which is easier to clear than many larger packages.

You should use your province’s regulated sites. Ontario’s market runs through iGaming Ontario and the AGCO; Alberta’s regulated market launched on July 13, 2026. Offshore sites are not regulated by either province, so a provincial regulator cannot help with a dispute.

It depends on the site. Need for Spin and Rolling Slots process withdrawals Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (GMT+3), after verification. Casino Days lists Interac withdrawals from C$10, though its own pages quote anything from minutes to five business days.

For recreational players, gambling winnings are generally treated as windfalls and are not taxed by the CRA. People who gamble as a business, such as organised professional poker players, may be taxed, and interest earned on winnings is taxable.

Grant Halloway is our Canadian online gambling editor. He follows how online gambling differs from province to province in Canada, where there is no federal regulator and access runs through bodies such as the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, AGLC, BCLC, Loto-Québec and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. Before a review is published he confirms which provinces a casino is actually permitted to serve, and checks bonus terms, payment methods and withdrawal limits in CAD against the operator’s own pages.
