Is Winshark Legal in Canada? Licence and Status
Winshark is an offshore casino: it is licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Control Board — not by a Canadian provincial regulator. If a dispute arises, you deal with GBL Solutions N.V. and the GCB, not your province. The “240%” on the banner is simply 100% + 80% + 60% added up across the Standard path. To max every step you would deposit C$235, then C$393.75 (80% = C$315), then C$791.67 (60% = C$475).
That’s C$1,420.42 deposited for C$1,025 in bonus money and 250 free spins — not C$3,945 and not 300 spins. For most recreational players, this is the realistic version of the offer.
The High-Roller Path: Where C$3,945 Comes From
The headline total adds the High-Roller first deposit (C$3,155) to the second (C$315) and third (C$475) caps. Because the High-Roller match is only 50%, you’d need a C$6,310 first deposit to unlock the full C$3,155, and C$7,495.42 across all three deposits to collect the whole C$3,945 + 300 spins.
