Crypto Casino Canada: The Short Answer
For Canadians outside Ontario and Alberta, BC.Game, Vave, Roobet, Stake and Golisimo are the most complete Bitcoin and crypto casinos among the sites we track, and TonyBet accepts crypto alongside a CAD account. Each solves a different problem: fairness you can check yourself, a wallet that never touches fiat, or a CAD cashier that also takes coins.
None of the six is regulated by a Canadian province. That matters more with crypto than with Interac, because a blockchain transfer can’t be reversed by your bank and no provincial regulator will step in if a payout stalls. Read the picks below as a shortlist, not a guarantee.
Best for Provably Fair Play: BC.Game (93/100)
BC.Game publishes the verification method for its Crash game: a chain of 10 million pre-generated SHA256 hashes whose results you can recompute yourself. It names its operator (Twocent Technology Limited, Belize) and its licence (Anjouan, No. ALSI-202410011-FI1), shows balances in CA$ from a Canadian IP and runs more than twenty in-house originals next to 1000+ slots.

Best Crypto-Only Wallet: Vave (90/100)
Vave is the purest crypto casino in our group: account currencies are BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT and XRP, with no CAD wallet at all. Its FAQ says withdrawals are typically processed in 10 minutes and that Vave charges no deposit or withdrawal fees. The homepage headline offer is a welcome bonus of up to 1.5 BTC.
Most Coins with C$ Limits: Golisimo (83/100)
Golisimo’s Canada/CAD payments page lists 15 crypto options, from Bitcoin (C$90 to C$10,000) to four separate USDT networks (C$35 to C$8,000 each), next to Interac from C$10 to C$3,000. It also runs a separate crypto welcome of 200% up to 3,000 USDT. The trade-off: its terms and footer don’t name the operating company or a gaming licence (checked October 2026).
| 🎰 Casino | ⭐ Our rating | 🪙 Crypto confirmed on its pages | 💵 CAD option | 🏆 Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stake | 94/100 | 21 coins in its Originals betting table | Yes (cards, Interac payouts) | Rakeback and VIP rewards |
| BC.Game | 93/100 | BTC and its own BC token | CA$ display | Provably fair originals |
| Roobet | 92/100 | 11 coins incl. BTC, ETH, USDT, SOL, SUI | Interac in and out | Buying crypto in the cashier |
| Vave | 90/100 | 8 coins, crypto-only accounts | No | Fast, fee-free crypto payouts |
| Golisimo | 83/100 | 15 options with C$ ranges | Yes (Canada/CAD cashier) | Widest published limits |
| TonyBet | 89/100 | Crypto deposits and withdrawals | Yes (CAD account) | Low 30x welcome wagering |
The right pick depends on whether you want to stay in crypto end to end (Vave, BC.Game) or keep a CAD route open for withdrawals (Stake, Roobet, Golisimo, TonyBet).
You must be 19+ to gamble in most provinces (18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec). If you live in Ontario or Alberta, your province runs a regulated market, and the offshore sites on this page are not the ones built for you; see our Ontario online casinos guide instead.
How We Checked These Crypto Casinos
We compared what each operator publishes about crypto: which coins its cashier lists, the limits, confirmation rules, bonus terms written in USDT or BTC, and how its games can be verified. All of it was read on October 9, 2026, mostly from a Canadian IP.
What We Read
For each casino we went through the payments or cashier page, the general terms, the bonus terms, the VIP page, the responsible-gambling page and, where they exist, help-centre articles on deposits and withdrawals. We captured lobby and promotions screenshots, which appear throughout this guide.
Stake and Roobet are special cases. Their main sites blocked automated access, so their facts come from their official help centres (help.stake.com and help.roobet.com). That is why you’ll see detailed cashier rules for both, but no screenshots of their lobbies.
What We Did Not Do
We did not open accounts, send coins or request withdrawals. Every speed, limit and fee below is what the operator itself states. When a casino promises “10 minutes”, read it as a claim from its FAQ, not a timing we measured. Our rating methodology explains how the scores were built.
| 🎰 Casino | 📄 Main crypto sources read | 🖼️ Screenshots |
|---|---|---|
| Stake | Help-centre articles on CAD deposits, card limits, crypto betting limits, VIP and rakeback | None (site blocked automated access) |
| BC.Game | Homepage, licences page, VIP page, promotions, provably fair Crash page | Lobby, slots, live casino, promotions |
| Roobet | Help-centre articles on crypto deposits, Swapped, Binance, Interac, limits | None (site blocked automated access) |
| Vave | FAQ, terms and conditions, bonus terms, VIP and promotions pages | Lobby, slots, live, game shows, roulette, blackjack, promotions, VIP |
| Golisimo | Canada payments page, promotions, general T&C v1.13, VIP page | Lobby, slots, live, game shows, promotions, VIP, sportsbook |
| TonyBet | General T&Cs, bonus terms, FAQ, VIP club, responsible gaming | Lobby, slots, live, promotions, VIP, sportsbook |
Where a fact was missing from those pages, we left it out rather than guess.
Which Coins Each Crypto Casino Accepts
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Tether (USDT) are the common ground: Stake, Roobet, Vave and Golisimo all list them. Beyond that the lists split quickly, so check your exact coin and network before you pick a site.
| 🪙 Coin | Stake | Roobet | Vave | Golisimo |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin (BTC) | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Ethereum (ETH) | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Litecoin (LTC) | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ |
| Tether (USDT) | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ | ✅ (4 networks) |
| USD Coin (USDC) | ✅ | ✅ | — | ✅ (incl. Solana) |

| BNB | ✅ | ✅ | — | ✅ |
| Bitcoin Cash (BCH) | ✅ | — | ✅ | ✅ |
| Cardano (ADA) | — | — | — | ✅ |
| Sui (SUI) | — | ✅ | — | — |
A dash means the coin did not appear on the pages we read, not that the casino refuses it. BC.Game and TonyBet are left out of the grid because neither published a full coin list on the pages we captured.
Stake: 21 Coins in Its Originals Table
Stake’s help centre lists 21 cryptocurrencies in the betting-limits table for its in-house Originals: BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, DOGE, XRP, TRON, BNB, CRO, APE, DAI, LINK, POL, SAND, SHIB, UNI, USDC, USDT, EOS, SOL and TRUMP. That table is about betting, so treat it as the widest list of coins you can play with, and confirm in the cashier which ones you can deposit and withdraw.
Roobet: 11 Coins with Clear Confirmation Rules
Roobet accepts BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, XRP, TRX, DOGE, SOL, SUI and BNB. Its help centre is unusually precise about timing: a deposit is credited after 1 blockchain confirmation for BTC and XRP, and after 3 for ETH, LTC, USDT and USDC.
Vave: Eight Coins, No Fiat
Vave’s terms make crypto the only account currency: BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT and XRP. Everything else on the site, from bonus minimums to VIP rewards, is priced in USDT or “equivalent in cryptocurrency”.
Golisimo: 15 Options Priced in Canadian Dollars
Golisimo is the only site in the group that publishes per-coin limits in C$ on a Canada/CAD payments page. That makes planning easy: you know before you send anything whether your deposit sits inside the range.
| 🪙 Golisimo crypto option | 💵 Deposit range (C$) |
|---|---|
| Bitcoin | C$90 – C$10,000 |
| Ethereum | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| Litecoin | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| Bitcoin Cash | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| USDT ERC20 | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| USDT TRC20 | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| USDT BEP20 | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| USDT Solana | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| USDC | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| USDC Solana | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| Solana | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| TRX | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| BNB | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| Cardano | C$35 – C$8,000 |
| DOGE | C$35 – C$7,800 |
Bitcoin carries the highest minimum (C$90) but also the highest ceiling (C$10,000), so smaller players are better served by USDT or Litecoin from C$35.
BC.Game and TonyBet: Crypto Without a Published List
BC.Game’s footer shows a live “1 BTC = CA$” rate and the site promotes its own $BC token, but the full list of supported coins was not on the pages we captured. TonyBet’s terms confirm crypto deposits and withdrawals without naming the coins. For both, open the cashier and check your coin and network before you send.
Pro Tip:
Pick your coin first, then the casino. If you already hold USDT on Tron, Golisimo, Roobet and Vave are natural fits; if you hold SUI, only Roobet lists it among our six.
Bitcoin Casinos in Canada: BTC Limits and Speeds
If you specifically want to play with Bitcoin rather than stablecoins, the differences between sites come down to three things: the minimum and maximum the cashier accepts in BTC, how many network confirmations the casino waits for, and whether faster Bitcoin rails such as Lightning are offered. Golisimo, Casino Days and Roobet publish the clearest BTC figures among the casinos we track; the others list Bitcoin without per-coin limits on the pages we read.
| 🎰 Casino | ₿ Bitcoin in the cashier | 📏 Published limits / speed | ⭐ Our rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Golisimo | Yes (BTC listed separately from 15+ other coins) | C$90 – C$10,000 per Bitcoin transaction | 83/100 |
| Casino Days | Yes (BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, DOGE, USDT) | Crypto limits listed up to $50,000; no operator fees | 88/100 |
| Roobet | Yes (one of 11 coins) | Credited after 1 blockchain confirmation for BTC | 92/100 |
| Vave | Yes (crypto-only cashier, 8 coins) | Welcome offer quoted in BTC (up to 1.5 BTC) | 90/100 |
| TonyBet | Yes, alongside a CAD account | Crypto withdrawals “usually under 24 hours” | 89/100 |
| BC.Game | Yes (balances shown with a BTC/CA$ rate) | No per-coin limits on the pages read | 93/100 |
| Everygame | Bitcoin and Lightning Bitcoin | Calls Bitcoin “the fastest payout method we offer” | 70/100 |
Figures are as published on each operator’s own pages in October 2026. Limits can differ by account level and change without notice, so check the cashier before you send a large amount.
Which Bitcoin Casino Suits Which Player
For a high-limit Bitcoin cashier with clear numbers, Golisimo (up to C$10,000 per BTC transaction) and Casino Days (crypto up to $50,000, plus Interac both ways) stand out. For speed of crediting, Roobet states a single confirmation for BTC. If you want a wallet that never touches fiat at all, Vave runs a crypto-only cashier. Bigger budgets should also read our high roller casinos guide.

Best Crypto Casinos in Canada, Site by Site
Each of the six sites below takes crypto, but they differ on the things that decide your experience: how the wallet is denominated, how fast coins come back, what the bonus terms cost, and who you can complain to. Here is what each operator’s own pages say.
1. Stake: Rakeback and 21 Coins (94/100)
Stake is a crypto-first casino that also handles Canadian dollars properly. Its help centre documents CAD deposits after email verification, Visa and Mastercard deposits and withdrawals from C$5 to C$3,000, and CAD payouts by Interac e-Transfer (sent by Payper Inc.) in up to 3 business days. Crypto sits alongside all of that on the same account.
The draw for crypto players is the reward structure rather than a welcome bonus. Rakeback returns 3.5% of the house edge as cash on all casino games once you reach Bronze VIP ($10,000 wagered), and you can claim it whenever you like. Higher levels add weekly boosts posted every Saturday at 12:30pm GMT, monthly bonuses and daily reloads from Platinum.
| 📋 Stake crypto facts | ✅ What its help centre says |
|---|---|
| Coins in Originals betting table | 21, incl. BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, SOL, DOGE, XRP, TRON, BNB |
| Smallest Originals bet with crypto | $0.0001 USD equivalent |
| Third-party game minimum | Usually $0.1–$0.2 |
| CAD route | Visa/Mastercard C$5–C$3,000; Interac e-Transfer payouts up to 3 business days |
| Rakeback | 3.5% of the house edge, from Bronze ($10,000 wagered) |
| Crypto deposit limits | Deposits above your limit are held in a withholding balance |
Stake suits high-volume crypto players who value steady rakeback over a one-off bonus (full details in our Stake review). Its welcome offer exists only through affiliate offer codes, with no terms in the articles we read.
One crypto-specific detail is worth knowing: if you set a deposit limit and then send more crypto than it allows, Stake doesn’t bounce the coins. It holds the excess in a withholding balance. That is a sensible design for irreversible blockchain payments, and a good reason to set limits before your first deposit.
Our sources for Stake were help-centre articles, not the main site, and they don’t confirm Stake’s availability province by province. Check that your province is accepted at sign-up, and if you are in Ontario or Alberta, use your provincial regulated sites.
- 15 VIP Levels to Obsidian
- CAD Cards C$5 to C$3,000
- Interac e-Transfer Payouts
2. BC.Game: Provably Fair Originals (93/100)
BC.Game is the most transparent crypto-native site in this group. Its footer names the operator, Twocent Technology Limited (registered in Belize, No. 41939), and its licences page gives the Anjouan licence number ALSI-202410011-FI1. It is also listed as a verified operator with the Crypto Gambling Foundation.
The lobby mixes 1000+ slots from studios such as Hacksaw, NetEnt, Play’n GO and PG Soft with Evolution live tables and more than twenty BC Originals: Crash, Limbo, Plinko, Mines, Hilo, Dice, Hash Dice, Keno, Tower Legend, Wheel, CoinFlip and multiplayer versions of baccarat, roulette and keno.

From a Canadian IP, BC.Game shows balances and wins in CA$, with a live Bitcoin-to-CA$ rate in the footer. The CA$ figure is a display currency; the pages we read don’t say whether you can deposit or withdraw fiat Canadian dollars, so plan on funding it with crypto.
| 📋 BC.Game crypto facts | ✅ What its site says |
|---|---|
| Licence | Anjouan, No. ALSI-202410011-FI1 |
| Operator | Twocent Technology Limited, Belize |
| Fairness | Provably fair Crash, 10 million SHA256 hash chain |
| Display currency | CA$ available from a Canadian IP |
| Own token | $BC, with “BC Engine” staking rewards |
| VIP payments perk | Fee-free deposits and withdrawals, fiat and crypto |
| Support | 24/7, Live Support link |
BC.Game is the pick if you want to verify game results yourself and prefer a named operator and licence number. Our BC.Game review covers the rest of the site.
Two caveats from its pages. The promotions are priced in USD, EUR and even INR rather than CAD (one free-spins giveaway asks you to “bet €10 every day”), and the sportsbook rules allow BC.Game to suspend withdrawals for up to 31 calendar days if it suspects unfair activity.

BC.Game is licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, not by a Canadian provincial regulator, and holds no iGaming Ontario licence. If a dispute arises you deal with the operator and its licensing body, not your province.
3. Roobet: Crypto Plus Interac (92/100)
Roobet bridges both worlds better than anyone else here. It takes 11 coins (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, XRP, TRX, DOGE, SOL, SUI and BNB) and also documents Interac e-Transfer for deposits and withdrawals through Gigadat, with Interac payouts reaching your bank 1–3 business days after processing.
If you don’t own crypto yet, Roobet’s cashier lets you buy it on the spot through Swapped.com with a card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, from $10 USD. Its help centre says those purchases arrive instantly or within a few minutes, rarely up to 30 minutes.
| 📋 Roobet crypto facts | ✅ What its help centre says |
|---|---|
| Coins accepted | BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, XRP, TRX, DOGE, SOL, SUI, BNB |
| Confirmations | 1 for BTC and XRP; 3 for ETH, LTC, USDT and USDC |
| Buy crypto in cashier | Swapped.com, from $10 USD; cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay |
| USDT networks named | ERC20 and TRC20 (one article also lists SOL and BSC) |
| Interac | Deposits and withdrawals via Gigadat; 1–3 business days to your bank |
| House games | Crash and other Roobet House Games |
| Support | 24/7 live support; cs@roobet.com |
Roobet is the easiest on-ramp for a first-time crypto player who still wants an Interac exit; see our Roobet review.
One technical note from its help centre: an “instant” Bitcoin deposit isn’t guaranteed. If your wallet has Replace-By-Fee (RBF) switched on or you set a low network fee, the deposit waits for a full confirmation. Turn RBF off and pay a normal fee if speed matters.
The pages we read don’t name Roobet’s licence or operator. Canada is not on its restricted-territories list (updated August 25, 2026), but no page says Ontario is accepted, so Ontario and Alberta players should stay with their regulated provincial sites. Roobet’s VIP club is invitation-only, with cashback mentioned but no rate given.
4. Vave: Crypto-Only and Fee-Free (90/100)
Vave is built for players who want to stay in crypto from deposit to withdrawal. Its terms list only cryptocurrency account currencies (BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT and XRP), a deposit is credited after one network confirmation, and the FAQ says withdrawal requests are typically processed in 10 minutes, with some options taking up to 3 days.

The homepage headline is “Sign up and Get a Bonus up to 1.5 BTC”. The general bonus terms set a 20 USDT minimum deposit for deposit bonuses, a 5 USDT maximum bet while a casino bonus is active, and a 10,000 USDT cap on winnings from any deposit bonus (verified on the operator’s site in October 2026).

| 📋 Vave crypto facts | ✅ What its terms and FAQ say |
|---|---|
| Account currencies | BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT, XRP only |
| Deposit credited | After one network confirmation |
| Withdrawal processing | Typically 10 minutes; up to 3 days for some options |
| Fees | None charged by Vave (bank or PSP conversion fees may apply) |
| Welcome headline | Up to 1.5 BTC |
| Thursday Reload | 100% up to 2,500 USDT, min 20 USDT |
| Large wins | 50,000 USDT+ may be paid in equal parts within 30 days |
| Dormant fee | 10 USDT a month after 12 months of inactivity |
Vave suits experienced crypto holders; anyone who needs a CAD bank withdrawal should look at Roobet, Stake or Golisimo instead. Our Vave review has the full terms.
Three Canada-specific details matter. There is no Interac or other Canadian bank method; cards only appear as a way to buy crypto through third parties such as MoonPay. The terms say players from Canada cannot play NYX (NextGen) games. And you must wager each deposit at least 3x on casino games before withdrawing it.
Vave’s FAQ calls it “a reputable, licensed platform”. It is not regulated by a Canadian provincial regulator, so a dispute goes through the operator, not your province.
5. Golisimo: Two Cashiers in One (83/100)
Golisimo runs parallel CAD and crypto tracks. The Canada/CAD payments page lists Interac (C$10–C$3,000), PlayID, card withdrawals, bank transfer, Skrill and MiFinity next to 15 crypto options, and the promotions page offers separate fiat and USDT versions of almost every bonus.

For crypto, the casino welcome is 200% up to 3,000 USDT, the Crypto Weekly Reload is 60% up to 1,000 USDT, and the Weekend Crypto Reload is 75% up to 750 USDT plus 100 free spins (all verified on the operator’s site in October 2026). The fiat welcome package is 300% up to $3,750 plus 300 free spins, so you choose which track to opt into.

| 📋 Golisimo crypto facts | ✅ What its pages say |
|---|---|
| Crypto options | 15, incl. BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT on 4 networks, USDC, SOL, ADA |
| Crypto deposit ranges | C$35–C$8,000 (DOGE C$7,800); Bitcoin C$90–C$10,000 |
| Crypto welcome | 200% up to 3,000 USDT |
| Default deposit-bonus rules | 35x deposit + bonus; max withdrawal 10x the bonus |
| Cashback | Daily 15% up to $600; Live 25% up to $300 |
| Library | 8,387 slots and 68 live tables shown on the homepage |
| Support | 24/7 live chat and support@golisimo.com |
Golisimo is the best fit if you want crypto and Interac in one account with every limit spelled out in C$. More in our Golisimo review.
The site’s terms and footer don’t name the operating company or a gaming licence (checked October 2026). That is a real transparency gap for a site that will hold your coins, so keep balances modest and withdraw regularly. Self-exclusion is requested by email to support rather than set in your account.
- 8,387 Slots & 882 Jackpots
- 15+ Cryptos Incl. Bitcoin
- Daily Cashback Up to 15%
6. TonyBet: CAD Account, Crypto Option (89/100)
TonyBet is the most conventional casino on this page and the one with the clearest licence for Canada. Its terms say that players accessing from Canada, excluding Ontario and Alberta, are served under Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence No. 00902, and that the operator is Tonybet OÜ in Tallinn, Estonia, in business since 2003.

Crypto is one payment family among several. TonyBet’s FAQ says crypto deposits can take up to 24 hours and withdrawals usually complete in under 24 hours, compared with up to 7 business days for cards and around 12 hours for Skrill or NETELLER. The account itself runs in CAD.
| 📋 TonyBet crypto facts | ✅ What its terms and FAQ say |
|---|---|
| Licence for Canada | Kahnawake No. 00902 (excludes Ontario and Alberta) |
| Account currency | CAD supported |
| Crypto deposits | Up to 24 hours |
| Crypto withdrawals | Usually under 24 hours |
| Welcome | Up to $2,500 + 250 free spins; 30x wagering, $10 max bet, 14 days |
| Excluded from wagering | Table, crash and live dealer games |
| Fees | No TonyBet deposit fees; dormant account CAD 7 a month |
TonyBet is the safer-feeling choice for a player who wants crypto as a payout option, not as the account currency. Read our TonyBet review for the full picture.

Its welcome terms are the cheapest published in this group: 30x wagering, a $10 maximum bet and 14 days to finish, verified on the operator’s site in October 2026. Crash games don’t count toward that wagering, though, so crypto players drawn to crash titles get little use from the bonus. A separate TonyBet operation appears on iGaming Ontario’s regulated list; tonybet.com itself does not serve Ontario or Alberta.
- Kahnawake licence No. 00902
- VIP cashback up to 10%
- Sportsbook and Omaha poker
Provably Fair Games: How to Check a Result
A provably fair game lets you confirm, after a round, that the result was fixed before you bet and was not changed afterwards. Among our six, BC.Game publishes the full method for its Crash game, and Stake’s help centre carries an article on provable fairness for Stake Original games.
How a Hash Chain Works
BC.Game generated a chain of 10 million SHA256 hashes in advance. Each round’s result comes from one hash in that chain, and each hash is derived from the next one, so the operator can’t swap a result without breaking the chain. After a round, you take the revealed hash, run the published algorithm and check that you get the same crash point.
The idea in plain terms: the casino commits to every future result before anyone bets, publishes a fingerprint of that commitment, and later shows you the data so you can check the fingerprint matches. You don’t need to trust the casino’s word, only the maths of SHA256.
Verifying a Round Step by Step
- Open the round history. In the game, find the finished round and copy its hash (and seed, if the game uses one).
- Find the verification page. On BC.Game, the provably fair page for Crash publishes the algorithm and a verifier.
- Recompute the result. Paste the hash into the verifier, or run the published code yourself in any independent tool.
- Compare. The multiplier you get must match the one the game showed. Any mismatch is a reason to stop playing and contact support.
What Provably Fair Does Not Prove
Provably fair proves the round wasn’t tampered with; it doesn’t change the house edge. A fair crash game still returns less than 100% over time. It also says nothing about whether the casino will pay out, how it handles KYC, or whether its bonus terms are reasonable.
Third-party slots and live dealer tables at these sites are not provably fair in this sense; they rely on the studio’s own RNG testing. Only the in-house originals can be checked round by round.
| 🎰 Casino | 🔐 Provably fair (per its pages) | 🎲 In-house originals |
|---|---|---|
| BC.Game | Yes: Crash on a 10 million SHA256 hash chain, method published | 20+ (Crash, Limbo, Plinko, Mines, Hilo, Dice, Keno and more) |
| Stake | Help-centre article on provable fairness for Stake Originals | Stake Originals |
| Roobet | — | Crash and Roobet House Games |
| Vave | — | “Vave Games” category |
| Golisimo | — | Instant games category |
| TonyBet | — | — |
A dash means the topic was not covered on the pages we read. If round-by-round verification is your priority, BC.Game is the clear choice among our six.
Crash and Instant Games at Crypto Casinos
Crash games are the signature product of crypto casinos: a multiplier climbs from 1.00x and can “crash” at any moment, and you win your stake times the multiplier if you cash out before it does. BC.Game, Stake and Roobet all run their own versions; many other casinos carry third-party crash and instant-win games. Our crash games guide goes deeper on strategy and odds.
Why Crash Fits Crypto Players
Rounds last seconds, bets can be tiny, and the outcome of each round can be checked when the game is provably fair. Stake’s help centre puts the minimum bet on its Originals with crypto at $0.0001 USD equivalent, far below the $0.1–$0.2 typical of third-party games there.
The same speed is the danger. A crash game can run hundreds of rounds in an hour, and an auto-cashout set at a high multiplier can drain a balance quickly. Set a session budget before you start, in C$ terms, not in coins.
Crash Lobbies at Other Canadian-Facing Casinos
Several of the other casinos we track have dedicated instant and crash sections, as our October 2026 screenshots show. 22Casino and Rolling Slots both list crypto among their payment methods, and Wild Tokyo lists Bitcoin.

Rolling Slots groups crash titles with other instant-win games in a single tab, which makes them easy to find from the main lobby.

Wild Tokyo, Need for Spin and Winshark share an operator (GBL Solutions N.V.) and a similar layout, each with its own instant and crash section.

Crash Games and Bonus Wagering
Check the bonus terms before you play crash with bonus money. TonyBet’s bonus terms exclude crash games, table games and live dealer games from wagering, so a crash session does nothing to clear the welcome bonus. Vave’s VIP points only accrue on slots, and table and live games don’t count toward its bonus wagering.
| 🎰 Casino | 🚀 Crash / instant games | ⚠️ Bonus note |
|---|---|---|
| BC.Game | Crash, Fast Crash, Limbo, Plinko, Mines and more | Welcome terms not on pages read |
| Stake | Stake Originals from $0.0001 USD equivalent | Rakeback applies to all casino games |
| Roobet | Crash and Roobet House Games | VIP cashback by invitation |
| Vave | “Vave Games” category | Max bet 5 USDT with a casino bonus |
| Golisimo | Instant games category | Default 35x on deposit + bonus |
| TonyBet | Crash titles referenced in its bonus terms | Crash excluded from wagering |
For crash fans, rakeback (Stake) or cashback is usually worth more than a welcome bonus that excludes the games you actually play.
What You Can Play with Crypto
At every site on this page, a crypto balance plays the same lobby as a fiat one: slots, live dealer tables, game shows and, at all six, a sportsbook. The one exception we found is Vave, whose terms bar Canadian players from NYX (NextGen) games.
Slots
Slots are where crypto bonuses are cleared, because they usually count 100% toward wagering. Golisimo’s homepage shows 8,387 slots and 882 jackpot games; BC.Game advertises 1000+; Vave’s lobby features titles such as Le Digger, Fruit Duel and Wings of Horus. Our online slots guide covers RTP and volatility.

Golisimo’s slots tab is the largest we captured, with Bonus Buys, Megaways and Streamers’ Choice filters.

TonyBet’s lobby leans on Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw hits such as Sweet Bonanza 2500 and Le Fisherman, all playable from a CAD balance funded by crypto.

Live Dealer Tables
All six run live casinos. BC.Game’s includes two exclusive Evolution tables, BC.GAME XXXtreme Lightning Roulette and BCGAME Blackjack Freebet. Golisimo’s homepage shows 68 top live tables, sorted into Gold Saloon, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker. See our live casino guide for table rules.

Golisimo also runs a separate Live Cashback of 25% up to $300, which makes its live lobby more attractive than live play at sites where tables don’t count toward any reward.

Vave’s live section sits beside dedicated roulette and blackjack tabs. Remember that its bonus rules don’t count live dealer play toward wagering.

TonyBet’s live casino is a separate product tab; its VIP club credits 1 point per C$15 bet there, against 1 per C$1.50 on slots.

Game Shows
Live game shows are a natural fit for small crypto stakes, since many accept low minimum bets and run short rounds. Vave and Golisimo both give them their own lobby tab.

Roulette and Blackjack
Table games have the lowest house edges in the lobby (single-zero roulette sits at 2.70%), but they rarely help with bonuses. Vave keeps separate roulette and blackjack tabs, handy if you play with your own crypto rather than bonus funds. Our online roulette and online blackjack guides explain the rules.

Sports Betting with Crypto
All six sites run a sportsbook on the same wallet. Golisimo has crypto-specific sports offers, including a Sports Crypto Welcome Bonus of 100% up to 200 USDT and a Crypto Weekend Reload of 50% up to 1,000 USDT (verified on the operator’s site in October 2026).

TonyBet’s sportsbook comes with a separate 100% up to $350 free-bet welcome that can’t be combined with the casino offer.

| 🎰 Casino | 🎰 Slots | 🃏 Live casino | ⚽ Sportsbook |

CAD Display vs Crypto Wallets: Know What You Hold
A crypto casino can show you Canadian dollars without holding any. Before you deposit, find out whether your balance is a CAD account, a crypto wallet shown in CA$, or a pure coin balance, because that decides who carries the exchange-rate risk and how you get money back to your bank.
Crypto-Only Accounts
Vave is the clear example: its terms list only BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT and XRP as account currencies. You deposit coins, play in coins and withdraw coins. Any conversion to dollars happens off-site, at an exchange of your choosing.
Display Currency Is Not Account Currency
BC.Game shows balances and wins in CA$ from a Canadian IP and posts a live Bitcoin-to-CA$ rate in its footer. That is helpful for budgeting, but the pages we read don’t confirm fiat CAD deposits or withdrawals. If the coin you hold drops 5% overnight, the CA$ figure on screen drops with it.
CAD Accounts That Also Take Crypto
Stake, Golisimo and TonyBet confirm CAD, and Roobet documents Interac in both directions. At these sites you can fund with crypto and still have a Canadian-dollar route out. The withdrawal method matters more than the deposit method: Stake, for example, says withdrawals must use a method you previously deposited with.
| 🎰 Casino | 💼 Account type | 🏦 CAD route out | 📉 Who carries coin price risk |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stake | CAD and crypto balances | Interac e-Transfer; card back to original card | You, while you hold coins |
| BC.Game | Crypto, shown in CA$ | — | You |
| Roobet | Crypto plus fiat methods | Interac via Gigadat, 1–3 business days | You, while you hold coins |
| Vave | Crypto only (8 coins) | None on site; convert at an exchange | You, always |
| Golisimo | Canada/CAD cashier with crypto options | CAD cashier lists Interac, bank transfer, Skrill, MiFinity and a card withdrawal option | You, while you hold coins |
| TonyBet | CAD account | Cards, e-wallets, bank wire | You, while you hold coins |
If you want your winnings to land in a Canadian bank account without an exchange in the middle, favour Roobet, Stake or Golisimo. Our Interac casinos guide compares those cashiers in detail.
Buying Bitcoin in Canada Before You Play
Most Canadians buy Bitcoin on a crypto trading platform and then send it to the casino. Choose a platform that is registered with Canadian securities regulators: the Canadian Securities Administrators publish a list of crypto trading platforms that are registered or operating under pre-registration undertakings. A registered platform must meet custody and disclosure rules that an unregistered one does not.
Funding, Buying and Sending
A typical route is to fund your platform account in CAD (often by Interac e-Transfer), buy Bitcoin, then withdraw it to your casino’s Bitcoin deposit address. Each step can carry a cost: the platform’s spread or trading fee, its withdrawal fee, and the network fee. On a small deposit those costs can be a noticeable share of the amount, which is one reason some players prefer to buy crypto inside the casino cashier instead (see below) or to use Interac directly where the casino accepts it.
Tax: Winnings vs Crypto Gains
Recreational gambling winnings are generally not taxable in Canada, as our legal guide explains. Crypto is a separate question: the Canada Revenue Agency treats cryptocurrency as a commodity, so if you hold coins and later sell or swap them for more than you paid, that gain can be taxable. Keep records of what you bought, when, and in which wallet it ended up.
Buying Crypto Inside the Casino Cashier
Two of our six let you buy crypto without leaving the casino: Roobet through Swapped.com and Vave through MoonPay and other third parties. It’s convenient, but you pay the provider’s price, and the coins land straight in a casino balance rather than in a wallet you control.
Roobet: Swapped.com from $10 USD
Roobet’s help centre says you can buy crypto in the cashier through Swapped.com with Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay or Google Pay, from a minimum of $10 USD. The purchase is credited instantly or within a few minutes, rarely up to 30 minutes. It is a deposit-only route: you can’t sell back through Swapped.
Vave: MoonPay and Other Providers
Vave lists MoonPay plus third-party options covering Visa/Mastercard, Google Pay and Apple Pay, GiroPay, Changelly, Onramper and bank transfer. Vave itself says it charges no fees, but notes that banks or payment providers may charge conversion fees.
Buying on an Exchange First
The alternative is to buy on a crypto exchange or app you already use, move the coins to your own wallet, and send from there. It takes longer but gives you a record of every purchase, lets you compare prices, and keeps a buffer between your bank and the casino.
Watch out:
Some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards, and a card purchase made inside a casino cashier may be treated as one. Check with your bank before relying on a card to buy crypto for play.
| 🛒 Route | ⚡ Speed (per operator) | 💳 Pay with | 👍 Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Roobet via Swapped.com | Instant to a few minutes; rarely 30 min | Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay | First-time crypto players |
| Vave via MoonPay and partners | — | Cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, bank transfer | Players committed to a crypto-only site |
| Your own exchange, then wallet | Depends on exchange and network | Whatever your exchange accepts | Price control and clean records |
In-cashier purchases win on convenience; buying through your own exchange wins on control and record-keeping.
Bitcoin Deposits and Withdrawals: Confirmations, Lightning and Fees
A Bitcoin deposit is not instant in the way an Interac transfer feels instant. Your transaction has to be included in a block and then confirmed, and each casino decides how many confirmations it waits for before crediting your balance. Understanding that wait explains most “where is my deposit?” moments.
Confirmations: Why Your BTC Takes Time to Arrive
Bitcoin blocks are produced roughly every ten minutes on average, though individual gaps vary. A casino that credits after one confirmation, as Roobet states for BTC, will usually show your deposit faster than one that waits for several. During busy periods a transaction with a low fee can sit unconfirmed for longer, because miners pick higher-fee transactions first.
Lightning Bitcoin
Lightning is a payment layer built on top of Bitcoin that settles small payments almost immediately and with very low fees. Among the casinos we track, Everygame lists Lightning Bitcoin as a separate option. Lightning is designed for smaller amounts; for larger transfers most players still use the main Bitcoin network. If a cashier offers both, make sure your wallet supports the one you pick.
Who Pays the Network Fee
Bitcoin network fees go to miners, not to the casino, and they rise and fall with demand on the network. When you deposit, you pay the fee from your wallet. When you withdraw, casinos handle it differently: some absorb it, some deduct it from the amount you receive. Casino Days says its deposits and withdrawals carry zero operator fees; for other sites, check the withdrawal screen before you confirm.
Bitcoin vs USDT vs Bitcoin Cash
| Coin | Value moves with the market? | Typical speed | Typical fee level |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bitcoin (BTC) | Yes — your balance in CAD changes as BTC moves | Minutes to an hour, depending on confirmations | Varies with network demand |
| Lightning BTC | Yes | Near-instant | Very low |
| USDT (TRC20, BEP20, Solana) | No — pegged to the US dollar | Usually minutes | Usually low |
| Bitcoin Cash (BCH) | Yes | Usually minutes | Usually low |
If you want Bitcoin specifically, accept that your balance moves with its price; if you only want a fast, cheap rail, a stablecoin on a low-fee network often makes more sense. Our fast withdrawal casinos guide compares payout speeds across all methods.
Sending Bitcoin Safely
- Copy the address from the cashier each time; some casinos rotate deposit addresses.
- Check the network. Bitcoin, Lightning and Bitcoin Cash addresses are not interchangeable.
- Send a small test amount the first time, especially before a large deposit.
- Keep the transaction ID (TXID) until the deposit is credited; support will ask for it.
- Withdraw to a wallet you control, not to an exchange address that might reject casino transfers.
Networks and Fees: TRC20, ERC20 and More
The same coin can travel on different blockchains, and you must send it on the network the casino’s deposit address expects. Choose wrong and the deposit may never arrive. Golisimo, for instance, lists USDT on four separate networks (ERC20, TRC20, BEP20 and Solana), each as a separate cashier option.
Why the Network Matters
USDT on Ethereum (ERC20) and USDT on Tron (TRC20) are the same dollar-pegged token, but they live on different chains with different address formats and different fee markets. A casino address generated for TRC20 is not watching the Ethereum chain, so ERC20 coins sent to it can be lost or require a manual recovery.
USDT on TRC20 vs ERC20
As a general rule, Ethereum network fees are higher and swing more with demand, while Tron, BNB Smart Chain and Solana transfers are usually cheaper. For small casino deposits, a cheap network keeps more of your money in play. Roobet’s help centre names ERC20 and TRC20 for USDT (one article adds SOL and BSC); Golisimo accepts all four networks at the same C$35–C$8,000 range.
Tags, Memos and Address Checks
Some coins, XRP being the best-known, can require a destination tag alongside the address. If the cashier shows one, include it, or the casino can’t match the deposit to your account. Always copy the address from the cashier at the moment you deposit, and check the first and last characters after pasting.
| 🌐 Network | 🪙 Common token | 💸 Typical fee level | 🎰 Listed by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ethereum (ERC20) | USDT, USDC, ETH | Higher, varies with demand | Golisimo, Roobet |
| Tron (TRC20) | USDT, TRX | Usually low | Golisimo, Roobet; TRX at Vave and Stake |
| BNB Smart Chain (BEP20) | USDT, BNB | Usually low | Golisimo; BNB at Roobet and Stake |
| Solana | USDT, USDC, SOL | Usually low | Golisimo; SOL at Roobet and Stake |
| Bitcoin | BTC | Varies; low fee slows confirmation | All four with published coin lists |
For small deposits, USDT on Tron, BNB Smart Chain or Solana is usually the cheapest way in; check that your casino lists the network first.
Fees the Casino Itself Charges
Network fees go to the blockchain, not the casino. Casino fees are a separate question, and the published answers vary.
| 🎰 Casino | 💸 Casino fees (per its pages) | 😴 Dormant account fee |
|---|---|---|
| BC.Game | “Low fees” on homepage; fee-free deposits and withdrawals as a VIP perk | — |
| Vave | None charged by Vave; bank/PSP conversion fees may apply | 10 USDT a month after 12 months |
| TonyBet | No TonyBet fees on provider deposits or bank wire withdrawals | CAD 7 a month |
| Stake | — | — |
| Roobet | — | — |
| Golisimo | — | — |
A dash means the pages we read didn’t cover it. Dormant-account fees are the quiet cost here: log in or withdraw before a balance sits idle for a year.
Crypto Deposit and Withdrawal Times
Crypto deposits are credited once the blockchain confirms them, usually within minutes, and the fastest published withdrawal processing in this group is Vave’s “typically 10 minutes”. Bank-based CAD payouts take days by comparison.
Confirmations Explained
A confirmation is a new block added on top of the one holding your transaction. Casinos wait for one or more before crediting you, to protect against reversed payments. Roobet waits for 1 confirmation on BTC and XRP and 3 on ETH, LTC, USDT and USDC; Vave credits after one network confirmation.
Withdrawal Processing
Processing is the casino’s internal approval, before anything reaches the blockchain. Vave says typically 10 minutes, with some options up to 3 days; TonyBet says crypto withdrawals usually complete in under 24 hours. Your first withdrawal at most sites also waits on identity checks, covered in the safety section below.
Large Wins and Instalments
Vave’s terms say wins of 50,000 USDT or more may, in exceptional cases, be paid in equal parts within 30 days at most. Golisimo’s VIP page reserves higher withdrawal limits for Level 3 and above. If you play big, read the limits before you play, not after you win.
| 🎰 Casino | 📥 Crypto deposit credited | 📤 Crypto withdrawal (stated) | 🏦 CAD payout for comparison |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vave | After 1 network confirmation | Typically 10 minutes; up to 3 days for some options | No CAD option |
| Roobet | 1 conf. BTC/XRP; 3 conf. ETH/LTC/USDT/USDC | — | Interac 1–3 business days |
| TonyBet | Up to 24 hours | Usually under 24 hours | Cards up to 7 business days; e-wallets ~12 hours |
| Stake | — | — | Interac and cards up to 3 business days |
| BC.Game | “Instant deposits” (homepage) | “Fast withdrawals” (homepage) | — |
| Golisimo | — | — | Interac listed (C$10–C$3,000 deposit range) |
For speed on paper, Vave leads; for a known CAD timeline, Roobet’s and Stake’s Interac payouts are the benchmark. Our best payout casinos page ranks payout speed across all 12 sites.
Crypto Casino Bonuses Compared
The biggest crypto headlines in our group are Vave’s welcome of up to 1.5 BTC and Golisimo’s 200% up to 3,000 USDT, while TonyBet publishes the cheapest wagering (30x). All offers below were verified on the operators’ sites in October 2026, and the full terms differ a lot more than the headlines suggest.
Welcome Offers Priced in Crypto
Vave and Golisimo price their crypto welcome offers in BTC and USDT, so the C$ value moves with the market. BC.Game mentions welcome bonuses on its homepage, and Stake’s welcome offer is only available through affiliate codes.
Crypto Reload Bonuses
Reloads are where crypto regulars get ongoing value. Vave’s Thursday Reload gives 100% up to 2,500 USDT on deposits of at least 20 USDT. Golisimo runs a Crypto Weekly Reload (60% up to 1,000 USDT) and a Weekend Crypto Reload (75% up to 750 USDT plus 100 free spins).
| 🎰 Casino | 🎁 Crypto / headline offer | 🔁 Wagering | 🎯 Max bet with bonus | 💰 Win cap |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vave | Up to 1.5 BTC welcome; Thursday 100% up to 2,500 USDT | — | 5 USDT | 10,000 USDT from deposit bonuses |
| Golisimo | 200% up to 3,000 USDT welcome; reloads in USDT | Default 35x deposit + bonus | — | Default 10x the bonus |
| TonyBet | Up to $2,500 + 250 free spins | 30x | $10 | — |
| Stake | Rakeback 3.5% of house edge; welcome via affiliate code | — | — | — |
| BC.Game | Welcome bonus mentioned; daily contests and raffles | — | — | — |
| Roobet | Raffles, rains and VIP cashback (by invitation) | — | — | — |
Golisimo’s figures are its default rules, which apply unless the specific promotion states otherwise; read the offer’s own terms when you opt in. See our casino bonus guide for every offer across the 12 sites.
Worked Example: What 35x Really Costs
Take Golisimo’s default deposit-bonus rule (35x on deposit plus bonus, maximum withdrawal 10x the bonus) and apply it to a 200% crypto match on a 100 USDT deposit. The numbers below assume the default rule applies, which the specific promotion could change.
| 🧮 Step | 💵 Amount |
|---|---|
| Deposit | 100 USDT |
| 200% bonus | 200 USDT |
| Wagering base (deposit + bonus) | 300 USDT |
| Wagering at 35x | 10,500 USDT in bets |
| Expected cost on a 96% RTP slot (4% of 10,500) | About 420 USDT |
| Maximum withdrawal from the bonus (10x 200) | 2,000 USDT |
On average, clearing that bonus costs more than the bonus is worth (about 420 USDT of expected losses against 200 USDT of bonus). It only makes sense if you were going to bet that volume anyway. Our wagering requirements guide walks through more examples.
Max Bets and Caps in Crypto Terms
Caps written in USDT are easy to misread when your balance is in BTC. Vave’s 5 USDT maximum bet with an active bonus applies to the equivalent in any coin, so at a BTC balance you must convert in your head before each spin. Breaking a max-bet rule is one of the most common reasons bonus winnings are voided.
Pro Tip:
If you play crash or live tables, skip the welcome bonus. TonyBet excludes crash, table and live games from wagering, and Vave doesn’t count table or live play, so rakeback or cashback will return more for that style of play.
VIP, Rakeback and Cashback for Crypto Players
For regular crypto players, ongoing returns usually beat welcome bonuses. Stake’s 3.5% rakeback, TonyBet’s VIP cashback of up to 10% and Golisimo’s daily cashback of 15% up to $600 are the clearest published rates in this group. See our cashback bonus guide for how these are calculated.
Stake: Rakeback from Bronze
Stake returns 3.5% of the house edge as cash on all casino games, unlocked at Bronze ($10,000 wagered). The programme has 15 levels up to Obsidian, adding weekly and monthly bonuses, level-up bonuses and, from Platinum, daily reloads.
BC.Game: Lossback and Fee-Free Payments
BC.Game’s VIP Club offers instant lossback, daily reloads, fee-free deposits and withdrawals in fiat and crypto, a dedicated VIP host and transfers of VIP status from other casinos. It says access depends on activity and loyalty, with “no level or specific game requirements”.
Vave: 18 Levels Paid in USDT
Vave enrols you after your first deposit and credits 1 VIP point per 30 USDT bet on slots (table and live games don’t count). Level rewards run from 5 USDT plus 10 free spins at Level 2 up to 100,000 USDT at Level 18, carry 10x wagering, and points convert at 200 VP to 1 USDT.

Golisimo: Five Levels Plus Daily Cashback
Golisimo’s five-level VIP programme adds personalised offers, higher withdrawal limits and cashback from Level 3, and a personal VIP manager at Levels 4 and 5. Separately, every player can use Daily Cashback (15% up to $600) and Live Cashback (25% up to $300).

TonyBet: Bi-Weekly Cashback from Ruby
TonyBet’s VIP club has 10 levels, from Iron to Legend. From Ruby it pays bi-weekly cashback on net slot losses: 5% up to $750 at Ruby, rising to 10% up to $1,500 from Prime, with 10x wagering and a $15 maximum bet. You need 50% monthly progression to keep your level.

| 🎰 Casino | 👑 VIP structure | 🔄 Published return | 🚪 How you get in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stake | 15 levels, Bronze to Obsidian | Rakeback 3.5% of house edge | Wager $10,000 for Bronze |
| BC.Game | VIP Club with host | Instant lossback | Activity and loyalty |
| Roobet | Invitation-only | Cashback as a VIP perk | Email invitation |
| Vave | 18 levels | Level rewards up to 100,000 USDT (10x wagering) | Automatic after first deposit |
| Golisimo | 5 levels | Daily Cashback 15% up to $600; Live 25% up to $300 | — |
| TonyBet | 10 levels, Iron to Legend | 5%–10% bi-weekly cashback from Ruby | Automatic at Iron |
For a steady, transparent return on crypto play, Stake’s rakeback is the simplest to understand; for casual players, Golisimo’s daily cashback needs no VIP status at all.
Volatility Risk: Your Balance Moves While You Play
With a coin balance you take two risks at once: the casino game and the coin’s price. A winning session can still end with fewer Canadian dollars than you started with if the coin falls, and a losing one can be softened if it rises.
A Simple Illustration
The figures below are round, hypothetical numbers to show the mechanics, not real prices. Say you deposit a coin amount worth C$1,000 and finish the session 10% up in coin terms.
| 📈 Coin price by withdrawal day | 🎲 Result in coins | 💵 Value in C$ |
|---|---|---|
| Unchanged | +10% | C$1,100 |
| Down 15% | +10% | C$935 |
| Up 15% | +10% | C$1,265 |
| Stablecoin (USDT/USDC) | +10% | About C$1,100, moving only with the US–Canadian dollar rate |
In the second row you “won” at the casino and still lost C$65. That is why many crypto players budget and play in stablecoins.
Stablecoins as a Buffer
USDT and USDC are pegged to the US dollar, so they remove most of the crypto price swing. They don’t remove currency risk for a Canadian: a US-dollar balance still moves against the Canadian dollar. All four casinos with published coin lists accept USDT, and Golisimo lists it on four networks.
Converting Back to Canadian Dollars
Decide before you play whether you will convert winnings to CAD straight away or hold the coins. Holding turns a casino win into an investment decision, with its own risk. If your aim is entertainment, convert promptly and keep the two activities separate.
Crypto Casino Winnings and Tax in Canada
Recreational gambling winnings are generally not taxed in Canada. The Canada Revenue Agency treats them as windfalls, whether you won in dollars or coins at the table. Only people considered to be in the business of gambling, such as organised professional poker players, may be taxed on winnings.
What the CRA Says About Winnings
Per the CRA, lottery winnings of any amount are not taxable unless the prize can be considered income from employment, a business or property, and interest earned on winnings is taxable. Income Tax Folio S3-F9-C1 covers the details.
The Crypto Itself Is a Separate Question
The windfall rule covers the gambling win. Buying, holding, swapping and selling cryptocurrency is a separate activity with its own tax treatment, which can apply even when the money passed through a casino. For anything beyond casual play, talk to a tax professional and keep records.
| 🧾 Situation | 📌 General position (CRA) |
|---|---|
| Recreational casino winnings | Generally not taxed (windfall) |
| Lottery winnings | Not taxable, unless income from employment, a business or property |
| Professional, business-like gambling | May be taxed |
| Interest earned on winnings | Taxable |
| Buying, swapping or selling the coins themselves | Separate tax rules; get professional advice |
Keep a simple log of each deposit, withdrawal and conversion, with dates and C$ values; it costs nothing and saves trouble later.
Is a Crypto Casino Legal in Canada?
Paying with crypto doesn’t change the legal picture. Under section 207(1)(a) of the Criminal Code, gambling is legal only when it is conducted and managed by a provincial government or under its licence, and each province decides how online gambling works within its borders. Our legal guide covers this in full.
Your Provincial Options
Ontario has run a regulated iGaming market since April 4, 2022, and Alberta’s launched on July 13, 2026. Elsewhere, provincial governments run their own online casinos.
| 🗺️ Province | 🏛️ Regulated online option | 🎂 Age |
|---|---|---|
| Ontario | AGCO-regulated market run by iGaming Ontario (84 sites listed as of 2026-09-01); OLG.ca | 19+ |
| Alberta | AGLC-regulated market run by AiGC (22 sites at launch) | 18+ |
| British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan | PlayNow.com | 19+ (18+ in Manitoba) |
| Quebec | lotoquebec.com | 18+ |
| New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI, Newfoundland and Labrador | Atlantic Lottery Corporation | 19+ |
If you live in Ontario or Alberta, use your province’s regulated sites; the six crypto casinos on this page are not part of those markets.
Where Offshore Crypto Casinos Fit
Offshore operators licensed in places like Curaçao, Kahnawake or Anjouan accept players from many provinces. They are not licensed by a Canadian provincial regulator (outside Kahnawake’s own licensing), so a province can’t resolve a dispute with them. You rely on the operator’s own licence and complaints process, which with crypto is all the more reason to know who that licensing body is.
| 🎰 Casino | 📜 Licence (per its pages) | 🍁 Ontario / Alberta | ⚖️ Disputes go to |
|---|---|---|---|
| TonyBet | Kahnawake No. 00902 | tonybet.com excludes both; a separate TonyBet site is on iGO’s list | Operator, then Kahnawake Gaming Commission |
| BC.Game | Anjouan ALSI-202410011-FI1 | No iGaming Ontario licence listed | Operator, then Anjouan licensing body |
| Stake | — | — | Operator |
| Roobet | — | — | Operator |
| Vave | — | — | Operator |
| Golisimo | Terms and footer don’t name a licence | — | Operator |
A dash means the pages we read did not cover it. None of the six is regulated by a Canadian province. If licensing transparency is your top priority, TonyBet and BC.Game are the two that name their licence and number.
Crypto Casino Safety Checklist
Staying safe at a crypto casino comes down to three things: knowing the operator’s KYC rules before you win, keeping control of your own wallet, and never leaving more on the site than you can afford to lose.
KYC Still Applies with Crypto
Crypto does not mean anonymous. Every operator here reserves the right to check identity, usually before the first withdrawal, and some set tight deadlines. Have your ID ready so a payout isn’t held up.
| 🎰 Casino | 🪪 Identity checks (per its pages) | ⏱️ Deadline |
|---|---|---|
| Stake | Email verification before first CAD deposit; passport, national ID or driving licence before first withdrawal | — |
| Roobet | Level 2: passport, driving licence or government ID (front and back) | Reviewed daily |
| Vave | ID, selfie with ID, phone or video call possible | 14 days, or account terminated |
| TonyBet | Documents at first withdrawal; selfie with ID or phone check possible | 7 calendar days, or withdrawal rejected |
| BC.Game | Right to request ID; random age checks via payment portals | — |
| Golisimo | Customer due diligence at AML triggers | — |
Vave’s 14-day window and TonyBet’s 7-day window are the ones to watch: miss them and you risk losing the withdrawal or the account.
Wallet Hygiene
- Use a wallet you control for withdrawals, and test a small transfer first when using a new address.
- Turn on two-factor authentication on both the casino account and your exchange.
- Never share a seed phrase; no casino support agent will ever need it.
- Withdraw winnings regularly rather than leaving a large balance on an offshore site.
Red Flags to Walk Away From
Be wary of any site that asks for a “verification deposit” before paying out, changes withdrawal limits after you win, or pressures you to send more coins to “unlock” a balance. Also treat any tip on getting around geo-blocks or self-exclusion as a warning sign; we don’t give that advice, and a trustworthy site won’t either.
How to Make Your First Crypto Deposit
A first crypto deposit takes about ten minutes if you prepare: pick the coin and network, set limits, copy the address from the cashier, and send a small test amount before the full deposit.
Before You Send Anything
- Check eligibility. Confirm your province is accepted in the site’s terms and that you meet the legal age (19+, or 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec).
- Set limits first. Add deposit, loss or wager limits in your account before funding it.
- Read the bonus terms. Decide whether to opt in before depositing; at Vave the bonus is chosen in the deposit window.
Sending the Deposit
- Choose coin and network. Select the exact pair in the cashier, for example USDT on TRC20.
- Copy the address (and tag). Copy it fresh from the cashier; include a destination tag or memo if one is shown.
- Send a test amount. Send a small amount above the minimum (C$35 for most coins at Golisimo, 20 USDT to qualify for a Vave bonus).
- Wait for confirmations. Then send the rest once the test shows in your balance.
After the Deposit
Note the transaction ID and the C$ value on the day. If a deposit doesn’t arrive, that ID is what support will ask for. Roobet’s help centre, for example, has dedicated articles for missing crypto deposits.
Common Crypto Casino Mistakes
Most crypto casino problems we see in operators’ help articles come from a handful of avoidable errors, almost all of them made in the cashier rather than at the tables.
Sending on the Wrong Network
USDT sent on ERC20 to a TRC20 address is the classic loss. Match the network in your wallet to the one shown in the cashier, every time.
Ignoring the Max Bet Rule
A 5 USDT cap at Vave or a $10 cap at TonyBet is easy to break with a BTC balance or a bonus-buy feature. One oversized bet can void the bonus and its winnings.
Missing a KYC Deadline
Vave allows 14 days and TonyBet 7 days to provide documents. Upload them as soon as they’re requested.
Budgeting in Coins, Not Dollars
“0.005 BTC” feels abstract; C$ amounts don’t. Set your session budget in Canadian dollars and convert it to coins before you play.
Leaving Balances Dormant
Vave charges 10 USDT a month after 12 months of inactivity and TonyBet CAD 7 a month on dormant accounts. Withdraw what you don’t plan to use.
Responsible Gambling with Crypto
Crypto makes deposits fast and frictionless, which is exactly why limits matter more here than anywhere else. All six sites offer self-exclusion, and most let you set deposit, loss or wager limits in your account. Our responsible gambling guide explains how to use them.
