C$1 Deposit Casinos in Canada: The Short Answer

Of the 22 offshore casinos we review for Canadian players, only Zodiac Casino confirms a genuine C$1 first deposit: one dollar buys 80 chances on the Mega Money Wheel, each valued at C$0.10. Every other low-entry offer we found starts at C$5 or C$10.

That is a narrower list than most “$1 deposit casino” pages suggest. Many of them still advertise offers that no longer exist, or quietly mean “a C$1 minimum on one payment method” rather than a bonus you can actually trigger with a loonie. We read the bonus pages and terms of every Casino Rewards site that has ever been linked to a one-dollar deal, and Zodiac is the only one where the offer page and the terms both say “The minimum first deposit is $1.” (verified on the operator’s site in October 2026).

This page goes deep on that single C$1 offer: how to claim it, what the Mega Money Wheel is, what a 200x play-through really means in dollars, what you can realistically withdraw, and which C$5 and C$10 offers make more sense if you want a slightly bigger start. If you want the wider picture of C$5, C$10 and C$20 casinos, our minimum deposit casinos guide covers the full range.

What You Actually Get for One Dollar

For a C$1 first deposit at Zodiac Casino you receive 80 spins on one specific game, the Mega Money Wheel. At the stated C$0.10 per spin, those spins carry C$8 of play value — eight times what you paid. The headline prize on the wheel is C$1 million.

Anything you win from those spins lands in your bonus balance, not your cash balance. It then has to be played through 200 times before it converts to withdrawable cash. The one exception the terms describe is the wheel’s top prize, which can be converted to cash on request through support.

So the honest summary is this: C$1 buys you a lottery-style shot at a big prize plus some low-value bonus money that is very hard to turn into cash. It is cheap entertainment and a way to test a casino’s lobby, not a realistic path to a withdrawal.

Who the C$1 Offer Suits (and Who It Doesn’t)

  • Good fit: players who want to look around a licensed casino lobby, try the Mega Money Wheel and risk no more than a dollar.
  • Good fit: people curious about the Casino Rewards network, since the deposit also opens your loyalty account and VIP points.
  • Poor fit: anyone expecting to “turn C$1 into a withdrawal” — the C$50 minimum withdrawal and 200x play-through make that unlikely.
  • Not for you at all: residents of Ontario and Alberta, who should stay on their province’s regulated sites (more on that below).

C$1, C$5 and C$10 Entry Offers Compared

The table below lines up the entry-level first-deposit offers we verified across the Casino Rewards sites. Zodiac is the only C$1 option; the others ask for five or ten dollars but give you more spins.

All six offers were verified on the operators’ own bonus pages and terms in October 2026, and all six share the same 200x play-through on first- and second-deposit bonuses — so the real difference is how much you pay up front and how many spins you get for it.

Zodiac Casino and its sister sites are offshore casinos licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (licence 00972, operator Fresh Horizons Limited) — they are not regulated by your province. Residents of Ontario and Alberta should use their province’s regulated sites instead: see our guides to Ontario online casinos and Alberta online casinos.

Under the Criminal Code, s.207(1)(a), gambling in Canada is legal when it is conducted and managed by a provincial government or under its licence. There is no federal online gambling regulator, so each province decides how online casino play works for its residents. Our explainer on whether online gambling is legal in Canada walks through each province.

Ontario Players

Ontario has run a regulated, competitive iGaming market since April 4, 2022. The AGCO registers operators and iGaming Ontario conducts and manages the market; players must be 19+ and physically in Ontario.

Zodiac has a separate Ontario site run by a different company, Apollo Entertainment Ltd, which says it is regulated by the AGCO and operates under an agreement with iGaming Ontario. Its terms are not the same as the rest-of-Canada site described on this page, so nothing here applies to it. Ontario rules also restrict how bonuses can be advertised publicly, so you will only see that site’s offers once you are on the operator’s own pages.

Alberta Players

Alberta’s regulated iGaming market officially launched on July 13, 2026. AGLC is the regulator, and the Alberta iGaming Corporation conducts and manages the market, with 22 registered iGaming sites approved at launch. Albertans should play only on those registered sites — we do not recommend any offshore C$1 offer to Alberta residents.

Quebec and the Rest of Canada

In Quebec, Loto-Québec’s lotoquebec.com is the government online gaming site. Offshore casinos such as Zodiac accept Quebec players, but they are not regulated by Quebec. Our Quebec online casino guide explains the options.

British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan share PlayNow.com as the government-run online casino, and the Atlantic provinces are served by the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. Offshore sites accept players from many of these provinces, but a provincial regulator cannot resolve a dispute with them — you rely on the operator’s licence and complaints process.

Age Limits for the C$1 Offer

The legal gambling age is 19+ in most provinces and territories and 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Zodiac’s own rule is stricter: its responsible-gambling page says play is available “only to persons older than 19 years of age, or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction, whichever is the greater.” In practice, that means you must be 19 or older to claim the C$1 offer, even in an 18+ province.

What the Kahnawake Licence Means for You

The Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission is the licensing and regulating authority for gaming activity within and from the Mohawk Territory of Kahnawà:ke, in Quebec. It issues interactive gaming licences, and Zodiac’s terms name licence number 00972. The footer links to a Commission certificate page for Zodiac Casino dated 16 March 2010.

If a dispute over your C$1 bonus arises, you go first to Zodiac’s support, then to eCOGRA (the alternative dispute resolution service named in the terms), and you can also write to complaints@gamingcommission.ca. Your province plays no part. For a broader checklist of what makes an offshore site trustworthy, see our safe online casinos guide.

Zodiac Casino’s C$1 Offer, Explained

Zodiac’s C$1 offer is the first step of a five-deposit welcome package: 80 Mega Money Wheel chances for C$1, followed by up to C$480 in match bonuses on deposits two to five. The headline on the bonus page reads “80 chances to win $1 Million” and the terms confirm the C$1 minimum (verified on the operator’s site in October 2026).

The exact wording in the terms is worth reading once, because every word matters: “80 chances to win massive jackpots will be awarded on first deposit as free spins on the game, Mega Money Wheel, valued at $0.10 per spin. The minimum first deposit is $1.”

Zodiac Casino welcome bonus page, viewed from Canada (October 2026)

The bonus-page screenshot above, captured from a Canadian IP in October 2026, shows the C$1 offer as the lead item, with the four later match bonuses listed underneath. Notice what the page itself does not show: the wagering figure. That lives in the general terms and conditions, which is why we quote them throughout this guide.

The Full Five-Deposit Welcome Package

The C$1 deposit is only the first of five. Here is how the package is laid out on Zodiac’s bonus page, with the minimum deposit and play-through for each step.

🔢 Deposit🎁 Offer💵 Minimum Deposit🔁 Play-Through
1st80 chances on Mega Money Wheel (C$0.10 each)C$1200x on winnings (bonus funds)
2nd100% match up to C$100C$10200x the bonus

4th50% match up to C$150C$1030x the bonus
5th50% match up to C$150C$1030x the bonus

Add it up and the package tops out at C$480 in match money plus the 80 spins — but only the first step costs a dollar, and the steepest play-through sits on the first two steps.

Key Terms of the C$1 Offer at a Glance

These are the rules from Zodiac’s Sign Up Offer and Bonus and Cash Account terms that apply directly to the C$1 deal. Each one comes from the terms page dated July 20, 2026, read in October 2026.

Read together, these terms make the C$1 offer cheap to enter but expensive to cash out, which is exactly why the rest of this page focuses on the numbers.

How the C$1 Offer Compares With the Ontario Version

Zodiac’s Ontario site is a separate business with its own licence and its own terms, and the two should never be mixed. Everything on this page — the 200x play-through, the C$4,000 weekly cap, the Kahnawake licence — describes the rest-of-Canada site operated by Fresh Horizons Limited.

If you live in Ontario, open the Ontario site directly and read its terms there. If you live elsewhere, be aware that some third-party pages quote the Ontario terms next to the rest-of-Canada offer; the terms that bind you are the ones on the site you actually register with.

How to Claim the C$1 Deal Step by Step

Claiming the C$1 offer takes five steps: register, make a first deposit of at least C$1 within seven days, open the Mega Money Wheel, play your 80 chances, then decide whether to keep going. Zodiac’s bonus page describes the same flow — once you are in the casino, visit the banking pages, choose a deposit method and make the deposit.

  1. Check you are eligible. You must be 19 or older and live outside Ontario and Alberta, which have their own regulated markets.
  2. Register an account. The “Play Now” buttons on Zodiac’s site open the registration page of the web lobby. Use your real name and details — they must match your ID and payment method later.
  3. Open the banking page. Pick a deposit method and check the minimum shown next to it before you confirm.
  4. Deposit at least C$1 within 7 days of registering. The terms say the sign-up promotion must be claimed by making a first deposit within seven days.
  5. Launch the Mega Money Wheel. Your 80 chances are credited as free spins on that game, each worth C$0.10.
  6. Check your bonus balance. Any spin winnings sit there until you complete the 200x play-through or the 60-day window closes.

That is the whole process. There is no promo code mentioned on the bonus page or in the terms we read — the offer is tied to the first deposit itself.

Zodiac Casino home page, viewed from Canada (October 2026)

In the home-page screenshot above, the “80 chances for $1” wheel takes up the whole banner, with the claim button directly below it. That button is the start of step two.

Before You Register: Three Quick Checks

Spend two minutes on these before you sign up, because they decide whether the dollar is well spent.

  • Are you already a Casino Rewards member? Zodiac shares its operator and loyalty programme with sites such as Captain Cooks, Grand Mondial and Yukon Gold. Sister-site terms say bonuses are limited to one per person, household, IP address or device, so check the sign-up offer is open to you.
  • Will you have time in the next 60 days? Unused bonuses are forfeited 60 days after registration, not after deposit.
  • Is your deposit method in your own name? Verification may ask for proof that you own the card, bank account or e-wallet used.

The 7-Day and 60-Day Clocks

Two deadlines run in parallel, and both start the day you open your account. The first is the 7-day window to make your C$1 deposit; after that, the terms say Zodiac “reserves the right to modify the promotion”.

The second is the 60-day expiry on promotional bonuses. In the terms’ words, bonuses or prizes “that remain unused in a Player’s casino account for longer than 60 days from the date of registration, will be forfeited”. A bonus counts as used once its play-through is met. So if you register on October 1 and deposit on October 7, you have until roughly the end of November — not 60 days from the deposit — to finish the wagering.

One helpful clause works in your favour: the sign-up bonus is fixed by the date you open the account. If you register and leave the account dormant, you are still entitled to the offer that was live when you joined.

Identity Checks Before Your First Cashout

Zodiac’s terms reserve the right to ask for verification documents after a deposit or before a withdrawal, and say withdrawals may wait until verification is complete. The documents named include a valid passport, driver’s licence or government ID, plus proof that you own the payment account — a copy of the card, a bank statement or e-wallet screenshots.

The terms also allow the casino to ask for certified copies and to run source-of-funds checks. None of this is unusual for a licensed site, but it is much easier to sort out before you have a balance waiting than after. Never try to work around these checks; they protect you as much as the casino.

Mega Money Wheel: What Your 80 Chances Are

Mega Money Wheel is the game your 80 C$1-deposit chances are locked to: a prize wheel listed among the Casino Rewards network’s exclusive games, with a C$1 million top prize and each spin valued at C$0.10. The same wheel powers the low-deposit offers at Captain Cooks, Grand Mondial and Yukon Gold.

The fact that every Casino Rewards entry offer uses the same game is not a coincidence. A wheel with a single huge prize makes a powerful headline — “80 chances to win $1 Million” — while the typical result of each spin is a small amount of bonus money. Understanding that split is the key to judging the C$1 offer fairly.

How a Prize Wheel Differs From a Slot

A slot pays according to symbol combinations across reels and paylines, often with bonus rounds. A prize wheel is simpler: each spin lands on one segment, and that segment decides your prize. There are no paylines to choose and nothing to adjust beyond starting the spin.

For the C$1 offer that simplicity is useful. The spin value is fixed at C$0.10 by the terms, so you cannot accidentally stake more than the offer allows, and the 80 chances play out quickly. The drawback is that you have no control over volatility; the wheel’s design decides how often small and large prizes come up.

The C$1 Million Top Prize, Realistically

Zodiac markets the offer as 80 chances to win a million, and the Yukon Gold terms describe the million as the wheel’s top prize. That is genuine — but a top prize on any wheel or jackpot game is, by design, extremely rare. Treat it the way you would treat a lottery ticket: nice to dream about, never something to plan around.

The terms do give the top prize special treatment. Unlike ordinary spin winnings, which sit in the bonus balance under 200x play-through, the top prize can be converted to cash on request by contacting support. If that ever happens to you, the C$4,000 weekly withdrawal cap explained further down would also come into play.

Where Your Spin Winnings Go

Every ordinary prize from your 80 chances is credited as bonus funds, not cash. That single detail turns the C$1 offer from “free money” into a wagering puzzle.

Zodiac’s terms put the first-deposit bonus under 200 times play-through “before your bonus balance is converted to cash”. Since the first-deposit bonus is the 80 spins, their winnings are what the 200x applies to. The Captain Cooks and Yukon Gold terms, which use the same framework, spell this out: spin winnings are bonus funds and fall under the same play-through.

What 80 Chances at C$0.10 Are Worth

On paper, 80 spins at C$0.10 each equal C$8 of play for a C$1 deposit — an 800% return on stake value, which no match bonus comes close to. That is the genuine strength of the offer.

What you actually win from those 80 spins could be more or less than C$8; the wheel does not guarantee a return. Your C$1 deposit itself is real cash, and it stays in your cash balance, but it is far below the C$50 minimum withdrawal on its own. The useful way to think about it: you are paying C$1 for C$8 of wheel spins whose prizes then need heavy wagering.

Pro Tip:
Play your 80 chances first, then look at the bonus balance before doing anything else. That number — not the C$1 million headline — is what tells you whether the 200x play-through is worth attempting or whether to simply enjoy the spins and stop.

The 200x Wagering Requirement, With Real Numbers

A 200x play-through means you must bet 200 times your bonus balance before it turns into withdrawable cash: C$5 in spin winnings needs C$1,000 in qualifying bets. Zodiac’s own terms give the example of a C$100 bonus requiring approximately C$20,000 wagered on slots.

For context, many offshore welcome bonuses use 30x to 45x. Casino Days, for example, applies 35x to its bonus. So 200x is roughly five to seven times stricter than what you will see on most match bonuses — the price of the very low entry. Our guide to wagering requirements explains the maths in general; below we apply it to the C$1 offer.

One detail softens it slightly: the terms say play-through counts wagers made from both your cash and bonus balances. Every slot bet you place, whichever balance it comes from, moves you towards the target.

Example 1: C$3 in Spin Winnings

Suppose your 80 chances return C$3 in bonus funds. You need C$3 × 200 = C$600 in slot bets. At C$0.20 a spin, that is 3,000 spins — several hours of play to unlock three dollars. Even if you clear it, a C$3 balance is far below the C$50 withdrawal minimum, so you would need to grow it on top.

Example 2: C$10 in Spin Winnings

A better run of spins gives you C$10 in bonus funds. Now the target is C$2,000 in slot bets. At C$0.50 a spin that is 4,000 spins. The 25% max-bet rule also applies: any single bet of C$2.50 or more (25% of the C$10 bonus) counts as irregular play and can cost you the winnings.

Example 3: The C$100 Second-Deposit Match

If you go on to deposit C$100 on your second deposit and receive the full 100% match of C$100, that bonus is also under 200x. The terms’ own example applies: approximately C$20,000 in slot bets. At C$1 a spin, that is 20,000 spins. This is the point where most players should stop and ask whether the bonus is worth it at all.

Wagering Scenarios Side by Side

Use the calculator above with your own numbers: enter the bonus balance shown after your 80 chances, keep the rollover at 200, and set a bet size below 25% of the bonus. It shows how many spins you would need.

Why Table Games Barely Help

Zodiac’s terms count slots at 100% towards play-through, but table games, parlour games, live casino and all other games at just 2%. A C$10 blackjack bet therefore clears only C$0.20 of your requirement. On a C$10 bonus at 200x, that turns a C$2,000 target into the equivalent of C$100,000 in table bets.

Two games count for nothing: All Aces Video Poker and Flippin’ Awesome Shields of Asgard contribute 0%, and doubling up does not count. If you love blackjack or roulette, the C$1 offer is simply the wrong tool; play those games with cash, not bonus funds.

Captain Cooks Casino terms wagering page, viewed from Canada (October 2026)

The screenshot above is the wagering section of the terms at Captain Cooks, Zodiac’s sister site. The Casino Rewards sites share this framework — the same 200x on first and second deposit bonuses, the same 30x afterwards and the same 2% contribution for non-slot games — which is why the numbers in this section apply across all of them.

The 25% Maximum Bet Rule

Zodiac classes as “irregular play” any single bet equal to or above 25% of the bonus value placed before the play-through is met, and winnings from irregular play may be confiscated. For roulette, a single bet is the total of all chips on the table when the wheel spins.

With small C$1-offer balances this limit is tight. If your spins return C$4, any bet of C$1 or more breaks the rule. Keep bets to around 5% of the bonus or less and you will stay well clear while still giving yourself enough spins to have a chance.

Other Irregular-Play Rules on Sister Sites

The terms of Captain Cooks and Yukon Gold, which share Zodiac’s operator, list more behaviour that counts as irregular play: using autoplay to meet wagering, making even-money bets on Sic Bo, craps or roulette, and claiming more than one bonus per person, household, IP address or device. They also say that withdrawing cash before the play-through is complete forfeits the remaining bonus.

Watch out:
Read Zodiac’s own terms page before you start wagering. The sister sites’ rules above are a strong guide, but the version that applies to you is the one published on the site where you hold your account.

What You Can Realistically Win and Withdraw

Realistically, most C$1 deposits end with a small bonus balance that never reaches the C$50 minimum withdrawal; a cashout is possible, but only if your spins and the wagering that follows go unusually well. The offer is best judged as C$1 of entertainment with a long-shot upside.

Four rules decide what happens if you do get lucky: the C$50 minimum, the 48-hour pending period, the C$4,000 weekly cap for big winners, and the identity checks covered above. Here is each one in turn, with what it means for a C$1 player.

The C$50 Minimum Withdrawal

Zodiac’s FAQ sets the minimum withdrawal at C$50 for all methods except direct bank transfer (wire), which has a C$300 minimum. For a C$1 player, that means your cash balance has to grow fifty-fold before you can request any payout.

In practice there are two ways to get there. Either your spin winnings are large enough that, after 200x play-through, a C$50+ balance remains, or you add more of your own money with later deposits. Only the first is a genuine “C$1 to cashout” story, and it is the exception rather than the rule.

The Cost of Clearing 200x, in Plain Maths

Every slot has a built-in house edge. On a slot with a 96% return to player (RTP), the theoretical cost of wagering is about 4% of the total amount bet over the long run. Apply that to the C$1 offer and the problem becomes obvious.

If your spins return C$10 and you must wager C$2,000 to clear it, 4% of C$2,000 is C$80 of expected loss — eight times the bonus you are trying to unlock. Results swing widely around that average, which is why some players do clear it, but the maths explains why most balances run dry first. Zodiac’s Highest Win Rate Guarantee says it offers the best available RTP version of each game from its software providers, which helps at the margin but does not change the picture.

For a fuller explanation of RTP and why it matters, see our best payout casinos guide.

The 48-Hour Pending Period

Once you request a withdrawal, Zodiac’s terms say the funds are held in pending for 48 hours and then processed on the following business day. During that window you can reverse the withdrawal back into your account — and the terms make clear that anything you reverse and then lose is your own responsibility.

After processing, delivery depends on the method: Visa and Mastercard take 3 working days, e-wallets 1 to 3, CAD EFT/eCheck 2 to 3 and direct bank transfer 6 to 10. A first withdrawal to a new method can add extra verification of up to 5 to 7 working days. If speed matters to you, our fast withdrawal casinos guide compares quicker options.

The C$4,000 Weekly Cap for Big Winners

Zodiac’s terms say players who win “a sum substantially greater than their total purchases across all Casino Rewards partner casinos” can withdraw a maximum of C$4,000 per week, and that the casino may raise or lower that figure at its discretion.

A C$1 player who lands a large prize is precisely the person this clause is written for, since the win would dwarf total deposits. A C$40,000 win, for example, would arrive over ten weeks at C$4,000 a week under the standard cap. It is a real limitation, but it is published in advance and the money still reaches you.

Fees and Currency Conversion

Most withdrawal methods are free at Zodiac. CAD EFT carries no cost, while direct bank transfer costs C$50, or C$100 for withdrawals over C$3,000. The terms add a 2.5% conversion fee when a withdrawal must be paid in a currency different from your account currency, so keep everything in Canadian dollars where you can.

Are C$1 Casino Winnings Taxed in Canada?

For recreational players, generally no. The CRA treats recreational gambling winnings as windfalls that are not taxed, and lottery winnings of any amount are not taxable unless the prize can be considered income from employment, a business or property. People who gamble as a business can be taxed, and any interest you earn on winnings is taxable. See the CRA’s page on amounts that are not taxed for the official wording.

Payment Methods for a C$1 Deposit

Zodiac’s FAQ confirms Interac and Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards for deposits, plus unnamed bank transfer services, prepaid vouchers and e-wallets. The C$1 minimum is set by the offer itself; each method’s own minimum appears in the cashier, which you see after logging in.

That last point matters for a one-dollar deposit. Because the cashier sits behind the login, check the minimum shown next to your chosen method before confirming. If a method shows a higher minimum, simply pick another — the offer needs at least C$1, not exactly C$1.

Interac for a C$1 Deposit

Interac is the deposit method most Canadians reach for, and Zodiac’s FAQ names it, noting that Interac deposits may be processed by PayDirect Billing Solutions Inc. Interac moves money straight from your bank account, so you never type card details into the casino. Our Interac casinos guide explains how it works in general.

Interac is listed for deposits at Zodiac. For withdrawals to Canada, the FAQ names a different set of methods, covered just below, so plan your cashout route before you deposit.

Visa and Mastercard

Credit and debit cards are accepted for deposits, and Visa card holders can also withdraw through Visa OCT, a direct credit to the card, in 3 working days after processing. Some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards, so a debit card or Interac may go through more smoothly. More detail is in our credit card casinos guide.

Other Deposit Options

Zodiac’s FAQ says it accepts deposits from “a variety of bank transfer services, prepaid vouchers, and from the internet’s most popular e-wallet services”, without naming them on the public pages. Skrill is named in the Canada withdrawal list, so it is the one e-wallet we can confirm at Zodiac. See our Skrill casinos guide for how that wallet works.

Withdrawal Methods Listed for Canada

The FAQ lists the withdrawal methods “currently available to Canada” as Visa OCT (Visa card holders only), CAD EFT/eCheck (Canada only) and Skrill. Direct bank transfer is also described, with its higher minimum and fee.

💳 Method⬇️ Deposit⬆️ Withdrawal⏱️ Delivery After Processing💸 Fee
InteracYesNot in the Canada withdrawal list——
VisaYesYes (Visa OCT)3 working daysNo cost
MastercardYesNot in the Canada withdrawal list——
CAD EFT / eCheck—Yes (Canada only)2 to 3 working daysNo cost
SkrillE-wallet deposits acceptedYes1 to 3 working daysNo cost
Direct bank transfer (wire)—Yes (C$300 minimum)6 to 10 working daysC$50; C$100 over C$3,000

For most C$1 players who reach the C$50 minimum, CAD EFT/eCheck is the cleanest route: free, Canada-only and 2 to 3 working days after the pending period.

Deposits Two to Five: Is the Rest Worth It?

The later steps of Zodiac’s package are worth it only selectively: the second-deposit match carries the same 200x as the C$1 spins, while the third, fourth and fifth matches drop to 30x, which is much closer to normal. Each requires a minimum deposit of C$10.

Second Deposit: 100% Up to C$100 at 200x

The second deposit is matched 100% up to C$100. It looks generous, but under 200x play-through a C$50 bonus needs C$10,000 in slot bets and a C$100 bonus needs about C$20,000. For most people that is more play than they would ever do in 60 days.

If you deposit a second time, consider whether you want this bonus at all. Playing purely with cash keeps your balance withdrawable at any time and avoids the 25% max-bet rule. Check with support how to decline a bonus before you deposit, rather than after.

Deposits Three to Five at 30x

From the third deposit, the terms drop the play-through to 30 times. The third deposit gets 50% up to C$80, and the fourth and fifth each get 50% up to C$150. A C$40 bonus on an C$80 deposit, at 30x, needs C$1,200 in slot bets — a requirement a regular slot player can realistically meet.

The awkward part is that you have to pass through the 200x steps to get here. The deposits are sequential, so the friendlier 30x offers only arrive after your first and second deposits.

Should You Stop After the First Dollar?

For many readers, yes. Taking the 80 chances for C$1 and walking away is a perfectly sensible way to use this offer. You get a feel for the lobby, a shot at the wheel’s top prize and a Casino Rewards account, and your total cost is a loonie.

If you enjoy the site and want to keep playing, set a firm budget first and decide whether each later bonus helps or hinders you. For a broader look at bonus types and how to compare them, see our casino bonus guide and our welcome bonus guide.

C$1 Deposit vs No-Deposit Bonuses

A C$1 deposit offer and a no-deposit bonus look similar — both promise play for little or nothing — but the C$1 route has one practical advantage: it puts a verified payment method on your account from day one. That method is the one you will later use to withdraw, so the identity and ownership checks start on a cleaner footing.

No-deposit bonuses cost nothing up front, yet they usually come with their own play-through and a cap on what you can cash out, and you still have to deposit or verify a payment method before any withdrawal. With Zodiac’s offer you pay a dollar, you know exactly what you get (80 chances at C$0.10), and the rules are the same published terms that apply to the rest of the welcome package.

When a No-Deposit Offer Makes More Sense

If you are strictly unwilling to put any money in, a no-deposit bonus is the only option — just read its terms as carefully as you would the C$1 deal. Our guides to no deposit bonuses and free spins with no deposit list the offers we have verified and the caps that come with them.

When the C$1 Offer Is the Better Pick

The C$1 offer suits you if you would rather spend a loonie than hunt for a free bonus, if you want to see a Casino Rewards lobby from the inside, or if you might keep playing at the same site afterwards. In that last case, the dollar also starts your loyalty points and opens the later deposit steps — including the 30x matches from the third deposit, which are the most reasonable part of the whole package.

Either way, the same principle applies: judge any low-cost bonus by its play-through, its game contribution and its minimum withdrawal, not by the headline. A “chance to win C$1 million” and a “free C$20” both deserve the same calculator treatment you saw in the wagering section above.

Getting Help if Something Goes Wrong

If your 80 chances do not appear after a C$1 deposit, contact Zodiac’s support first. Its contact page says the Support Centre runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by live chat and email (support@crhelpdesk.com), and that emails are usually answered within 48 hours. Live chat is the quicker route for a missing bonus; keep a screenshot of your deposit confirmation to hand.

Low-Deposit Alternatives at C$5 and C$10

If C$1 feels too thin, the best step-ups are Captain Cooks at C$5 for 100 chances and Grand Mondial or Yukon Gold at C$10 for 150 chances, all on the same Mega Money Wheel. Quatro offers a different C$10 structure built around daily free spins. All four were verified on the operators’ sites in October 2026.

These sites share Zodiac’s operator, Kahnawake licence 00972, 200x play-through on first- and second-deposit bonuses, C$50 minimum withdrawal, 48-hour pending period and C$4,000 weekly cap. What changes is the price of entry and the number of spins — and, from the second deposit, the size of the match bonuses.

Best C$5 Option: Captain Cooks Casino

Captain Cooks offers 100 Mega Money Wheel chances for a C$5 first deposit, each valued at C$0.10 — C$10 of play value. Its terms state: “The minimum first deposit is $5.” The rest of the package adds a 100% match up to C$100 on the second deposit, 50% up to C$150 on the third, 25% up to C$125 on the fourth and 100% up to C$100 on the fifth, for up to C$475 in matches.

Compared with Zodiac, you pay four dollars more for 20 extra chances, and the lobby includes a Live Casino category with Pragmatic Play Live Games. Grand Mondial: 150 Chances for C$10

Grand Mondial gives 150 Mega Money Wheel chances for a C$10 first deposit (C$15 of play value), followed by a 100% second-deposit match up to C$250 that the site labels “for a limited time only”. Its minimum deposit is C$10 for first and later deposits.

Grand Mondial’s bonus page, pictured above, walks you through registering, opening the Banking page and making “a small deposit of $10” to receive the 150 chances. It is the right pick if you also want live dealer tables: the games page says live dealer games are available on several popular table games. Our Grand Mondial review rates it 76/100.

Yukon Gold: 150 Chances for C$10

Yukon Gold matches Grand Mondial’s first step — 150 chances for C$10 — and follows with a 100% second-deposit match up to C$150. Its terms are the clearest of the group on how the wheel works: spin winnings are credited as bonus funds under the same play-through, and a top prize can be converted to cash by contacting support.

Quatro: A Tiered Offer From C$10

Quatro skips the wheel. A first deposit of C$10 to C$19.99 earns a C$10 bonus plus 10 free spins a day for seven days (70 in total), and the tiers rise to a C$100 bonus plus 100 spins a day for deposits of C$100 or more. The spins rotate through a different slot each day, starting with Thunderstruck Wild Lightning.

The tier table in the Quatro screenshot above shows all four deposit bands. Two cautions: the first-deposit bonus and free-spin winnings carry 200x play-through, and the spins must be played on the day they are given, which means logging in every day or losing them. Our Quatro review (73/100) covers the rest.

Value per Dollar: C$1 vs C$5 vs C$10

Measured by spin value per dollar deposited, Zodiac wins easily: C$8 of spins for C$1. Captain Cooks gives C$10 for C$5, and Grand Mondial and Yukon Gold give C$15 for C$10. But the bigger deposits leave you with more of your own cash in the account, which makes the C$50 withdrawal minimum easier to reach. Lowest cost: Zodiac. Most total spins: Grand Mondial or Yukon Gold.

Non-Casino Rewards sites tend to ask for more. Casino Days, for instance, has a C$10 minimum deposit on methods including Interac and iDebit, and C$20 to claim its welcome bonus — but its bonus wagering is 35x rather than 200x. Our minimum deposit casinos hub compares those options in full.

Casino Classic $1 Deposit: What Happened?

Casino Classic no longer has a $1 deposit offer. We checked its rest-of-Canada bonus page, its terms and its Casino Rewards member page in October 2026, and none of them mention a one-dollar deal. Its Ontario site does not show one either.

Searches for “Casino Classic $1” are still common, mostly because older pages around the web continue to describe a one-dollar offer. If you land on one of those pages, treat it as out of date. The only C$1 first-deposit offer we could confirm anywhere in the Casino Rewards group is Zodiac’s.

Casino Classic home welcome offer page, viewed from Canada (October 2026)

The Casino Classic home page above, captured from Canada in October 2026, shows the welcome offer the site currently promotes on its front page — there is no one-dollar wheel deal anywhere on it.

What Casino Classic Offers Instead

Casino Classic now offers up to C$500 over three deposits: 100% up to C$150 on the first, 100% up to C$150 on the second and 50% up to C$200 on the third. The usual Casino Rewards terms apply — 200x on the first two bonuses, 30x from the third. Its terms also contain a clause saying the first individual deposit alone determines the bonus amount, which sits awkwardly next to the three-deposit package on the bonus page; ask support which applies before relying on it.

If a low entry price is what you want, Zodiac is the like-for-like replacement for the old Casino Classic deal. If you prefer a straightforward match bonus, our Casino Classic review (74/100) has the full picture.

Games to Play After Your 80 Chances

Once the 80 chances are used, slots are the only sensible choice for clearing the bonus, because they count 100% towards play-through while every other game counts 2% or nothing. Zodiac says it offers over 1,000 games across slots, blackjack, roulette, video poker and progressive jackpots.

Slots That Count in Full

Titles named on Zodiac’s games page include Immortal Romance, Thunderstruck II, Gates of Olympus 2500, 12 Masks of Fire Drums, Lara Croft – Tomb of the Sun and Money Mayweather. Any of them counts in full, as long as you keep each bet below 25% of your bonus value. Our online slots guide explains volatility and RTP if you are choosing between them.

Progressive Jackpots

Zodiac lists seven progressive jackpots, led by the Mega Moolah family and the Casino Rewards exclusive Mega Vault Millionaire, each showing about C$15.25 million when we read the page in October 2026. Treasure Nile and Cash Splash carry smaller pots. Jackpot figures change constantly.

Zodiac Casino progressive jackpots page, viewed from Canada (October 2026)

The jackpots page above shows the running totals at capture time. Like the Mega Money Wheel’s top prize, these are long shots; enjoy them as such, and keep your stake within the 25% bonus rule while you are still wagering.

Table Games and Video Poker

Blackjack, roulette and video poker are on the menu, but at 2% contribution they are best played with cash after any bonus is cleared or declined. Live casino is not mentioned on Zodiac’s public pages; if live dealers matter to you, Grand Mondial and Captain Cooks both show live dealer games. See our live casino guide for more.

Claiming the C$1 Offer on Mobile

You can claim the C$1 offer on a phone through Zodiac’s mobile site; we did not find a native iOS or Android app on its public pages. The “Play Now” buttons open the web lobby and registration page in your browser, and the FAQ refers to playing on a mobile or tablet device.

Zodiac Casino mobile home page, viewed from Canada (October 2026)

The mobile screenshot above shows the same “80 chances for $1” banner adapted to a phone screen, with the claim button within thumb reach. The Mega Money Wheel suits mobile well: one tap per spin, nothing to configure. For more mobile-first options, see our mobile casinos guide.

Casino Rewards Loyalty After Your First Dollar

Your C$1 deposit also makes you a member of Casino Rewards, the loyalty programme shared by Zodiac and its sister sites. Membership is automatic for real-money players, and VIP points never expire — a quiet but genuine benefit for someone who plays occasionally and in small amounts.

Six Status Levels Across the Network

Zodiac’s FAQ describes six status levels, each adding benefits such as bigger bonuses, more promotions, priority support, birthday gifts, exclusive games and, at higher levels, personal VIP hosts. Your status is recognised across all Casino Rewards member casinos, so time spent at Zodiac counts if you later try Grand Mondial or Yukon Gold.

What VIP Points Are Worth

According to the FAQ, every 100 points is worth C$1 in casino credits, and you can redeem once you hold at least 1,000 points — so the first redemption is worth C$10 in chips. Points come from every real-money wager. The network also runs the VIP Lucky Jackpot and the Time Of Your Life Sweepstakes for members. None of this changes the maths of the C$1 offer, but it is a small extra if you keep playing.

C$1 Deposit Offer: Pros and Cons

The C$1 offer’s biggest strength is its price, and its biggest weakness is the 200x play-through that sits on every dollar you win from it. Here is the balance in one view.

Pros:

  • Lowest confirmed entry price we found: C$1 for 80 chances
  • C$8 of spin value for a C$1 deposit
  • Top prize can be converted to cash through support
  • Kahnawake licence 00972 with eCOGRA as dispute service
  • Opens a Casino Rewards account with points that never expire
  • Free CAD EFT/eCheck withdrawals for Canada

Cons:

  • 200x play-through on spin winnings and the 2nd-deposit match
  • C$50 minimum withdrawal is fifty times the deposit
  • Spins locked to a single game, the Mega Money Wheel
  • Table and live games count only 2% toward wagering
  • 48-hour pending period before withdrawals are processed
  • Not for Ontario or Alberta residents

Common C$1 Bonus Mistakes to Avoid

Most problems with C$1 offers come from five avoidable mistakes, almost all of them about timing, bet size or game choice rather than luck.

Betting Too Big Too Soon

A single bet of 25% or more of your bonus value counts as irregular play. With a C$6 bonus that means anything from C$1.50 up. One impatient spin can cost you everything the wheel gave you, so keep stakes small until the play-through is complete.

Playing Blackjack or Roulette With Bonus Funds

At 2% contribution, table games barely dent the requirement, and the sister sites’ terms treat even-money bets on roulette, craps and Sic Bo as irregular play. Stick to slots while wagering, and save roulette for cash play.

Forgetting the Registration Date

The 60-day bonus expiry starts when you register, not when you deposit. Opening an account “for later” quietly eats into your wagering time — and the first deposit must come within seven days to secure the offer at all.

Expecting a Withdrawal From One Dollar

Going in with a cashout target creates pressure to deposit more or bet bigger. Go in expecting 80 fun spins. If a withdrawal happens, it is a bonus on top of the bonus.

Mixing Up Ontario and Rest-of-Canada Terms

Zodiac’s Ontario and rest-of-Canada sites are run by different companies under different licences and terms. Read the terms on the site you actually register with, and if you live in Ontario or Alberta, use your province’s regulated market rather than an offshore site.

How We Checked the C$1 Offers

We verified every offer on this page by reading the operators’ own pages from a Canadian IP in October 2026 — bonus pages, terms and conditions, FAQs, responsible-gambling pages and Casino Rewards network pages — and capturing the screenshots shown here. We did not open real-money accounts or make deposits; everything comes from what the operators publish.

For each brand, we compared the bonus page against the general terms, because the two often differ: Zodiac’s bonus page shows the C$1 offer but not the 200x play-through, which only appears in the terms dated July 20, 2026. Where a sister site’s terms explained something more clearly than Zodiac’s, we say so and name the site. Ratings come from our rating methodology, which weighs licence and transparency, bonus fairness, Canadian payments, games, mobile, and support and responsible-gambling tools.

Offers change. We list the date we checked each one, and you should always confirm the current terms on the operator’s site before depositing — even a single dollar.

Responsible Gambling at Low Stakes

Low stakes do not mean low risk: the danger with a C$1 offer is not the first dollar but the second, third and tenth deposit made to chase a balance. Decide your total budget before you register, and treat the C$1 as entertainment spending, not an investment.

Tools Available at Zodiac

Zodiac’s responsible-gambling page lists daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, cooling-off periods from 24 hours to six weeks, a six-month self-exclusion, a link to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission’s comprehensive self-exclusion, a self-assessment test and links to filtering software. Limits and exclusions are arranged by contacting support, and any increase to a limit takes 24 hours to apply.

The responsible-gambling page above shows these tools as captured in October 2026. A simple habit for C$1 players: ask support to set a low weekly deposit limit on the same day you register. It costs nothing and removes the temptation to top up after a bad run.

Canadian Help Lines

If gambling stops being fun, free and confidential help is available in every province. A few of the lines listed by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction:

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Yes. Zodiac Casino’s terms confirm a C$1 minimum first deposit that unlocks 80 chances on the Mega Money Wheel at C$0.10 each (verified October 2026). It is an offshore Kahnawake-licensed site, so it is not for Ontario or Alberta residents.

It is possible but uncommon. Spin winnings are bonus funds with 200x play-through, and the minimum withdrawal is C$50. Only the wheel’s top prize can be converted to cash on request through support.

No. In October 2026, Casino Classic’s bonus page, terms and Casino Rewards listing showed a 100% match up to C$150 on the first deposit and no one-dollar offer. Zodiac is the only Casino Rewards site with a confirmed C$1 deal.

You must bet 200 times your bonus balance on games before it becomes cash. C$5 in spin winnings needs C$1,000 in slot bets; table games count only 2%. See our wagering requirements guide.

Zodiac’s FAQ names Interac and Visa or Mastercard cards for deposits, plus unnamed e-wallets, vouchers and bank transfer services. Each method’s minimum shows in the cashier after login, so check it before confirming your deposit.

No. It is a prize wheel game exclusive to the Casino Rewards network, with a C$1 million top prize. Each spin lands on one segment that decides the prize, and the C$1 offer fixes every spin at C$0.10.

Not the offer on this page. Ontario residents should use iGaming Ontario’s regulated sites; Zodiac’s Ontario site is a separate business with its own licence and terms. Alberta residents should likewise use Alberta’s registered sites.

Captain Cooks gives 100 Mega Money Wheel chances for C$5, while Grand Mondial and Yukon Gold give 150 for C$10. Quatro offers a C$10 bonus plus 70 daily free spins for a C$10 deposit. All use 200x on first-deposit bonuses.
