Many casinos exclude some e-wallet deposits from welcome offers, so always read the excluded-methods clause. Winshark’s bonus terms, for example, allow “only one bonus offer” per person, device or “payment system account (Neteller, Skrill and etc.)”.

Rules like these matter more than the headline amount. TonyBet is the cleanest e-wallet pick on our list. Its FAQ says Skrill and Neteller deposits are “usually almost immediate (max 15 minutes)” and that e-wallet withdrawals are targeted within 12 hours, much faster than its card payouts, which can take up to 7 business days.

More Crypto Options: BC.Game and Vave

BC.Game publishes its licence on its site (Anjouan, ALSI-202410011-FI1), shows balances in CA$ from a Canadian IP, and lists “fee-free” fiat and crypto deposits and withdrawals as a VIP perk. Vave accepts eight coins (BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT and XRP) and says withdrawals are typically processed in 10 minutes.

Skrill at Rolling Slots and Wild Tokyo

Rolling Slots and Wild Tokyo, both run by GBL Solutions N.V. under Curaçao GCB licence OGL/2024/589/0556, list Skrill and Neteller for deposits alongside Visa and Mastercard. Both run in CAD, and Wild Tokyo’s FAQ says deposits are “100% free of charge”.

The GBL Solutions terms allow up to a 10% commission if you withdraw before wagering at least 3x your deposit. Deposit only what you intend to play through, rather than parking money and cashing it straight back out.

Sites Without a Named Method List

Kingmaker’s public payments page, set to Canada and Canadian Dollar, showed “No payments found” when we checked it logged out. Need for Spin’s terms describe deposits only generically, as cards, bank transfer and e-wallets, and Winshark’s pages we read set a C$30 minimum to qualify for its bonuses.

That doesn’t rule MuchBetter in or out at these three. It means the only reliable check is the cashier itself once you’ve registered, and you shouldn’t sign up on the assumption that a particular wallet will be there.

No single method wins every row, so pick by what you value most: privacy, CAD simplicity, wide acceptance or speed.

MuchBetter vs Interac

Interac moves money straight between your Canadian bank and the casino in CAD, with no middle wallet to fund or convert. MuchBetter adds a step but keeps your bank relationship one stage removed from an offshore operator.

For most players, Interac is simpler and cheaper, especially for withdrawals. MuchBetter makes more sense if you want a hard spending cap in a separate wallet, or prefer that your bank statement shows wallet top-ups rather than casino payments.

MuchBetter vs Skrill and Neteller

Skrill and Neteller are older e-wallets with web and app access, and four of our 12 casinos list Skrill against one for MuchBetter. MuchBetter’s advantage is the app-first approval flow, which some players find easier on a phone.

MuchBetter vs Crypto

Crypto is the most widely accepted method across our 12 and often the fastest to withdraw. The trade-off is volatility: if you hold BTC between deposit and cash-out, the value of your balance moves with the market, not with your play.

Blockchain transfers can’t be reversed either, so a wrong address or network means lost funds. Roobet’s help centre warns that instant BTC deposits aren’t guaranteed if Replace-by-Fee is on or the fee is too low.

MuchBetter vs Credit and Debit Cards

Cards are familiar, but some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards, and a card deposit puts your card details on the casino’s system. Stake is the clearest card option on our list, with CAD deposits and withdrawals from C$5 to C$3,000.

Is It Legal to Use MuchBetter at Canadian Casinos?

Using an e-wallet is legal; the question is the casino. Under the Criminal Code, section 207(1)(a), gambling is lawful when conducted and managed by a province, and offshore sites such as Roobet are not regulated by your province.

In practice, a provincial regulator can’t settle a dispute with them; you rely on the operator and whatever licensing body stands behind it. Our guide to online gambling law in Canada explains the details.

Province by Province

Each province runs or licenses its own online gambling. British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan use PlayNow.com; Quebec has lotoquebec.com; the four Atlantic provinces are served by Atlantic Lottery Corporation. There is no federal online gambling regulator.

Ontario and Alberta Players

Ontario has a regulated iGaming market, run by iGaming Ontario and overseen by the AGCO, with 84 websites on iGO’s official list as of September 1, 2026. Alberta’s regulated market launched on July 13, 2026, with 22 registered sites approved at launch.

If you live in either province, use your province’s regulated sites, not the offshore brands on this page. TonyBet’s own terms, for instance, exclude Ontario and Alberta from its Kahnawake-licensed .com site.

Are Winnings Taxed?

For recreational players, the Canada Revenue Agency generally treats gambling winnings as windfalls, so they aren’t taxed. People in the business of gambling may be taxed, and any interest you earn on winnings is taxable. The payment method doesn’t change this.
