Ruby Fortune Casino Ontario at a Glance
Ruby Fortune Casino Ontario is a regulated, AGCO-registered casino run by Cadtree Limited under registration OPIG1237898, and it scores 82/100 with us. It is a solid, slot-led site with Interac in both directions, a strong responsible-gambling toolkit and a native iOS app, held back by a slower withdrawal routine and a smaller payments menu than the biggest Ontario brands.
We read the operator’s Ontario pages (home, payment methods, banking, withdrawal policy, terms, FAQ, responsible gaming, loyalty club, mobile) and iGaming Ontario’s regulated-market list on October 13, 2026. We did not open an account or move money; everything below comes from those pages and the screenshots we captured.

Who Ruby Fortune Suits Best
Ruby Fortune fits Ontario players who mainly play online slots, bank with Interac and value a familiar, conservative brand over a flashy lobby. If you like setting firm limits before you play, the toolkit here is among the most complete we read this month.
It also suits iPhone users: the App Store app is published by Cadtree Limited itself, so you know you are on the regulated product rather than a look-alike.
Who Should Look Elsewhere
If you want same-day cash-outs, PayPal, a sportsbook on the same wallet, or a big public live-dealer lobby, other regulated sites on our Ontario online casinos list fit better. We compare those options in detail further down.
Licence and Who Runs Ruby Fortune Ontario
Ruby Fortune Ontario is operated by Cadtree Limited, registered with the AGCO under number OPIG1237898 and listed on iGaming Ontario’s regulated-market page. That makes it a fully regulated option for adults aged 19+ who are physically in Ontario — the opposite of an offshore site.
AGCO Registration and the iGO Agreement
Ontario’s market, live since April 4, 2022, works on two layers. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) registers operators and enforces the Registrar’s Standards for Internet Gaming, while iGaming Ontario (iGO) conducts and manages the market through operating agreements.
Ruby Fortune’s terms reflect both: clause 7.4 says identity checks are made “in accordance with regulations established by the Registrar’s Standards of the AGCO, the policies of iGO and FINTRAC requirements”. You can read more about how this fits Canada’s wider rules in our guide is online gambling legal in Canada.
Cadtree Limited: The Company Behind the Site
The footer on every Ontario page names CADTREE LIMITED (2031), an Alderney-registered company at La Corvee House, La Corvee, Alderney, GY9 3TQ. iGaming Ontario lists Ruby Fortune under that same operator, alongside Jackpot City, Royal Vegas and Spin Casino.
Each of those four brands carries its own OPIG number. In practice they share a lot — the same payment menu style, the same six-level loyalty structure and similar terms — so the differences come down to details, which we cover in the comparison section.
| 🏛️ Item | 📄 What the Ontario pages say |
|---|---|
| Licensed entity | Cadtree Limited, company no. 2031 |
| Registered address | La Corvee House, La Corvee, Alderney, GY9 3TQ |
| Registration number | OPIG1237898 |
| Issue date | June 23, 2022 |
| iGO listing | “Ruby Fortune — Casino”, operator Cadtree Limited |
| Listed URL | rubyfortune.ca/ontario |
| Identity checks | AGCO Registrar’s Standards, iGO policies, FINTRAC |
| Dispute route | Complaints team → eCOGRA ADR → iGO/AGCO |
Every item in this table is quoted from the operator’s footer, terms or iGO’s list as checked on October 13, 2026.
About the “Ontario Gaming Commission” Wording
One oddity: the footer says Cadtree is “licensed under the Ontario Gaming Commission”. No body by that exact name exists — the regulator is the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), and the site’s own terms use “the AGCO”. We read this as loose footer copy rather than a red flag, because the number OPIG1237898 and the iGO listing both line up.
How to Check the Registration Yourself
- Open iGO’s list of regulated sites at igamingontario.ca and search for “Ruby Fortune”.
- Match the web address — the listed URL is rubyfortune.ca/ontario.
- Scroll to the footer of the site and confirm Cadtree Limited and OPIG1237898.
- Look for the 19+ notice and the geolocation prompt at sign-up — both are signs of the Ontario-regulated version.
That check takes two minutes and protects you from copycat sites that borrow well-known casino names.
What Regulation Means If Something Goes Wrong
Because Ruby Fortune is regulated in Ontario, a dispute does not end with the operator. The complaints path on the site runs from a designated complaints email to eCOGRA’s alternative dispute resolution, and then to iGO and the AGCO.
That escalation ladder is the main practical reason to choose a site from the regulated Ontario casino hub over any unregulated alternative: there is a provincial body that can act on your complaint.
Ruby Fortune Ontario Games
Ruby Fortune’s Ontario lobby is built around slots and progressive jackpots, with a smaller set of table games and branded live-style roulette and blackjack. The FAQ talks about “hundreds of casino games” rather than a precise count, and the site credits most titles to its main software provider, established in 1994, without naming it.
The home page screenshot below shows the layout Ontario players land on: featured slots up top, a jackpot ticker and tiles for the live-style tables.

| 🎮 Category | 🎯 What you find | 💡 Our note |
|---|---|---|
| Slots | 3-reel classics, video slots, progressives | The core of the site |
| Notable titles | Immortal Romance II, Agent Jane Blonde, Avalon, Thunderstruck II, Break Da Bank Again | Well-known, long-running franchises |
| Progressive jackpots | Maple Moolah and other progressives | Jackpot ticker on the home page |
| Table games | Blackjack, roulette, baccarat | Classic RNG versions |
| Live-style tables | Real Roulette, Real Roulette with Sarati, On Air Roulette, On Air Blackjack | Shown as promo tiles only |
| Sportsbook / poker | Not offered | Casino-only brand |
The mix is narrower than at the largest Ontario lobbies, but it covers the games most Canadian slot players actually look for.
Slots: Classic and Video Reels
The slots section splits into classic three-reel games, modern video slots and progressives. Names like Immortal Romance II, Thunderstruck II, Avalon, Agent Jane Blonde and Break Da Bank Again appear on the Ontario pages — familiar titles with clear paytables and a wide range of bet sizes.
If you are new to reels, our guide to online slots explains volatility, paylines and why the advertised RTP is a long-run average, not a promise for one session.
Progressive Jackpots and Maple Moolah
Jackpots are the headline. On October 13, 2026 the home page showed Maple Moolah as the “Biggest Online Jackpot” at $1,512,721.52. Progressive pots grow with every qualifying spin across the network until someone hits them.
Keep the maths in mind: a seven-figure pot is extremely unlikely on any single spin, and part of each bet feeds the pool, so base-game returns are often lower than on standard slots. Treat jackpot games as entertainment with a lottery-style long shot, not as a plan.
Live-Style Roulette and Blackjack
Ruby Fortune promotes Real Roulette & Baccarat, Real Roulette with Sarati (billed as “your exclusive hostess”) and On Air Roulette & On Air Blackjack. These are streamed, human-hosted formats rather than animated RNG tables.
One caveat: there is no public live-casino lobby page on the Ontario site — the live tables only appear as promo tiles, so the full list is visible once you log in. If live dealers are your main interest, read our live casino guide and confirm the range inside the account before depositing.
Table Games: Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat
The table-games section covers the three classics. RNG versions are handy for learning: you play at your own pace and can stop after any hand. For strategy basics see our online blackjack and online roulette guides.
A quick rule of thumb: on roulette, single-zero (European) wheels carry a 2.70% house edge, roughly half of the double-zero American wheel, so pick single-zero tables when both are offered.
Exclusive Touches: Real Roulette with Sarati
The closest thing Ruby Fortune has to an exclusive is the hosted Real Roulette with Sarati table, which the site markets as having an exclusive hostess. It is a nice personal touch, but it is a single table format rather than a library of in-house games.
RTP and Payout Information
Ruby Fortune’s payout-percentages page points players to each game’s Help file for its RTP. That is the right place to look: the figure is set per game, and two versions of the same title can differ.
Pro Tip:
Before you spin a new slot, open its Help or info screen and note the RTP. If you have two similar games to choose from, the one with the higher RTP gives back more on average over time — a small edge that adds up across a long session.
No Sportsbook or Poker Room
Ruby Fortune Ontario is casino-only. If you want sports betting on the same account, the regulated bet365, 888, Betway and Sports Interaction sites in Ontario each run a sportsbook alongside the casino.
Ruby Fortune Ontario Payments and Withdrawals
Ruby Fortune Ontario takes deposits from C$10 by Interac, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and prepaid cards, and pays out by Interac, Visa or eCheck. Deposits are generally instant; withdrawals first sit in a pending window of at least 24 hours, then take 24–48 hours to process, plus bank time.
The payment-methods page in the screenshot below groups each option by direction, which is the split we use in our table.

| 💳 Method | ⬆️ Deposit | ⬇️ Withdrawal | ⏱️ Timing (operator wording) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Interac | Yes, from C$10 | Yes | Withdrawals “typically take a few business days” |
| Visa | Yes, from C$10 | Yes | Deposits mostly real time; withdrawals “may take a few business days” |
| Mastercard | Yes, from C$10 | No | Deposits real time in most cases |
| American Express | Yes, from C$10 | No | — |
| Apple Pay | Yes, from C$10 | No | — |
| Prepaid cards | Yes | No | No card brand named in the FAQ |
| eCheck | No | Yes | “May take longer” than Interac or Visa |
For most Ontario players, Interac is the obvious choice because it is the only method that works cleanly both ways alongside Visa.
Deposit Options
The minimum deposit is C$10, and Ruby Fortune states that it “does not charge fees for standard transactions” — your bank or card issuer may still apply its own. Interac moves money straight from your Canadian bank account; our Interac casinos guide explains how the transfer works.
Visa, Mastercard and American Express cover card users, and Apple Pay suits iPhone players who prefer not to type card details. Note that some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards, so a debit card or Interac is often the smoother route.
Withdrawal Options
Only three routes pay out: Interac, Visa and eCheck. If you deposit with Mastercard, Amex or Apple Pay, plan on withdrawing through one of those three instead — the terms also let the casino ask for proof that you own the payment method you use.
The withdrawal policy also warns that “limits apply” and that large payouts “may be processed in installments”. No figures are published on the pages we read, so check the cashier before a big cash-out.
The 24-Hour Pending Window and Weekends
This is the part that slows Ruby Fortune down. Every withdrawal is held pending for at least 24 hours — a reverse-withdrawal period during which you can cancel it. Requests made between Thursday 05:00 and Sunday 05:00 GMT stay reversible until Monday 05:00 GMT, and nothing is processed over the weekend.
After the pending period, the site says “it can take 24-48 hours for withdrawals to be processed”, and Interac or Visa then need a few business days to land in your account.
Worked Example: A Friday Cash-Out
Here is how the rules stack up for a player in Toronto who requests an Interac withdrawal on a Friday evening in October (Eastern Daylight Time, so 05:00 GMT is 1:00 a.m. ET).
| 📅 Stage | 🕒 When (ET) | 📝 What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Request | Friday, 8:00 p.m. | Withdrawal enters the pending queue and can still be reversed |
| Weekend | Saturday–Sunday | No processing; request stays reversible |
| Pending ends | Monday, 1:00 a.m. | Reversal window closes |
| Processing | Monday–Wednesday | “24-48 hours” internal processing |
| Bank transfer | Following business days | Interac “typically a few business days” |
Realistically, a Friday-evening request may not reach your bank until late the following week — fine for patient players, frustrating if you need the money quickly.
Watch out:
The reversal window lets you cancel a withdrawal and keep playing with that balance. If you have decided to cash out, leave the request alone — reversing withdrawals is a classic way to give winnings back.
Where the Payment Pages Disagree
Two conflicts are worth flagging. The /banking/ page shows “Deposit/Withdrawals” labels for all six main methods, while the more detailed /payment-methods/ page marks Mastercard, Amex and Apple Pay as deposit-only and eCheck as withdrawal-only. We used the more specific split.
The pages also say “Interac Online” in one place and simply “Interac” in another, so the exact Interac product (e-Transfer or Online) is not spelled out. Confirm both points in the cashier before you rely on a specific method for a withdrawal.
PayPal, Instadebit and E-Wallets
The FAQ is direct: “Currently, PayPal is not listed among our online casino payment methods.” Instadebit, iDebit, MuchBetter and Paysafecard are not on the Ontario payment pages either. The iOS App Store description does mention Instadebit, but since the site itself does not list it, we would not count on it.
If you rely on PayPal, Instadebit or iDebit, MuchBetter or Paysafecard, our payments hub lists regulated alternatives; bet365 Ontario, for example, lists PayPal.
Currency and Fees
Accounts run in Canadian dollars — the terms say winnings are added “in the relevant currency (C$)” — so there is no conversion cost on the casino side. Combined with no casino fees on standard transactions, the true cost of moving money here is essentially zero, apart from whatever your own bank charges.
Ruby Fortune Mobile App in Ontario
Ruby Fortune has a native iOS app on the Canadian App Store, published by Cadtree Limited; Android users play in the mobile browser. Both routes give access to the same regulated Ontario account.
The iOS App
The App Store listing, “Ruby Fortune Casino Real Money”, is sold by Cadtree Limited — the same company that holds the Ontario registration. When we looked it up on October 13, 2026 it was at version 22.1, updated October 8, 2026, with a 4.4/5 rating from 416 reviews.
Oddly, the Ontario website itself does not link to the app; it simply says Ruby Fortune is available in your preferred browser on Android and iOS. Search the Canadian App Store and check that the seller reads Cadtree Limited before installing.
Android and Browser Play
A Google Play search from Canada returned no Cadtree app for Ruby Fortune — only unrelated look-alikes. Do not install those. Android players should open rubyfortune.ca/ontario in Chrome or another browser; the site is designed for mobile and you can add a home-screen shortcut for quick access.
Mobile Tips for Ontario Players
- Keep location services on — geolocation must confirm you are in Ontario.
- Turn on two-step verification so a lost phone does not mean a lost account.
- Set your deposit and session limits on mobile too; they apply to the whole account.
Our mobile casinos guide covers how regulated Ontario apps compare on features and permissions.
Account Registration and Verification
Ruby Fortune verifies your identity during registration, not at your first withdrawal: you need government-issued photo ID, a recent proof of address and geolocation switched on. That front-loads the paperwork but avoids the classic surprise of a blocked first cash-out.
How to Open an Account
- Go to rubyfortune.ca/ontario while physically in Ontario and choose to register.
- Enter your details exactly as they appear on your ID; you must be 19 or older.
- Enable geolocation when prompted — the site cannot open games without it.
- Upload your documents: photo ID and proof of address no older than six months.
- Set your limits before your first deposit — deposit, loss and session limits are in the account settings.
Documents You Will Need
The FAQ asks for “a photographic government-issued Identity Document as well as a proof of address (no older than 6 months)”. A driver’s licence or passport plus a recent utility bill or bank statement usually does the job.
The terms add that the casino may also request proof of income or source of funds and proof that you own your payment method. These are standard anti-money-laundering checks tied to FINTRAC rules, not a sign that something is wrong.
Geolocation: Why You Must Be in Ontario
The FAQ is clear: “players need to be physically located in Ontario to access our casino games.” Residency alone is not enough — if you travel to Quebec or Manitoba, the games lock until you are back in the province. Never try to mask your location; it breaches the terms and can void your account.
Two-Step Verification
Ruby Fortune offers two-step login verification with a one-time code by text or email. It adds a few seconds to each login and makes it much harder for anyone else to reach your balance or change your limits. We recommend switching it on.
Customer Support
Ruby Fortune offers 24/7 live chat, and its FAQ says email support is also available. The site describes its service as “24/7 live help”, which is what most players will use.
Live Chat Around the Clock
Live chat is the main channel and runs around the clock. It is the fastest way to ask about a pending withdrawal, a verification document or a limit change. The site also points to a separate help centre at help.rubyfortune.ca.
Email and Formal Complaints
The FAQ answers “Is there a customer support service?” with “Yes – we currently offer live chat and email.” Formal complaints go to a designated complaints email first; if that does not settle it, you can escalate to eCOGRA and then to iGO and the AGCO. No phone line appeared on the pages we read.
English and French Service
The Ontario site has a language switch for English and French, a useful touch for Franco-Ontarian players who prefer to read terms and responsible-gambling pages in French.
Responsible Gambling Tools
Ruby Fortune’s responsible-gambling toolkit is one of its strongest features: deposit, loss and session limits, breaks from 24 hours to 3 months, self-exclusion of 6 to 12 months, BetGuard information and a self-assessment test. Gambling should stay entertainment with money you can afford to lose, and these tools help keep it there.
The responsible-gaming page in the screenshot lays the tools out in one place, with links to outside help.

| 🛡️ Tool | ⚙️ How it works at Ruby Fortune |
|---|---|
| Deposit limits | Set a cap on what you can deposit |
| Loss limits | Daily, weekly or monthly |
| Session limits | Daily, weekly or monthly time caps |
| Raising a limit | Subject to a 24-hour delay |
| Temporary exclusion | 24 hours to 3 months |
| Self-exclusion | 6 to 12 months |
| BetGuard | Information and link to iGO’s centralized self-exclusion |
| Self-assessment | 9-question test |
| History | Transaction and gaming history for the last 12 months |
| Notifications | Optional alerts at login or when a limit is hit |
Few Ontario sites put this many controls, including loss limits and the 24-hour cooling-off on increases, on one page.
Deposit, Loss and Session Limits
Deposit limits cap what goes in; loss limits cap what you can lose over a day, week or month; session limits cap your time. Lowering a limit takes effect right away, while raising one is delayed by 24 hours — a deliberate pause that stops a bad evening from turning into a bad week.
Time-Outs and Self-Exclusion
If you need a short break, a temporary exclusion runs from 24 hours to 3 months. For a longer step back, self-exclusion lasts a minimum of 6 months and up to 12 months. During either, you cannot log in to play.
BetGuard: Province-Wide Self-Exclusion
Ruby Fortune’s page links to BetGuard, iGO’s centralized self-exclusion programme. Self-excluding at one casino only blocks that site; a centralized scheme is designed to cover regulated Ontario sites more broadly, which makes it the stronger option if you want a clean break.
Self-Assessment and Activity History
A 9-question self-assessment helps you spot warning signs, and your transaction and gaming history for the past 12 months shows exactly where your money went. Checking the net figure once a month is a simple, honest reality check.
Pro Tip:
Set a monthly loss limit equal to what you would happily spend on a night out, and turn on the login notification. When the limit is hit, you are done for the month — no negotiating with yourself.
Where to Get Help in Ontario
If gambling stops being fun, call ConnexOntario at 1-866-531-2600 — free, confidential and available around the clock. Ruby Fortune also links to the Responsible Gambling Council, Gamblers Anonymous, and blocking tools such as Bet Blocker and Net Nanny. Our responsible gambling guide lists more Canadian resources.
Loyalty Programme
Ruby Fortune runs a six-level Loyalty Programme that every player joins automatically on sign-up. Points are earned on real-money wagers and can be redeemed in set increments, as explained on the loyalty-club page shown below.

The Six Levels
The levels run Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Privé, with Privé by invitation only. According to the site, higher levels bring more personalised service, faster points earning, exclusive competitions and dedicated support.
How to Think About Points
Loyalty points reward volume, so they should never be a reason to play more than you planned. Treat them as a small side benefit of play you would do anyway — the same programme structure runs at the other Cadtree brands, so it is not a reason to pick one sister site over another.
Promotions Inside Your Account
Under Ontario’s rules, regulated operators cannot publicly advertise offers. Promotions, if any, are shown to players once they are logged in on the operator’s site. Always read the full terms there before opting in to anything.
How Ruby Fortune Compares With Other Ontario Sites
Ruby Fortune sits mid-table among the regulated Ontario brands we review: stronger on longevity and limit tools than most, weaker on withdrawal speed and payment choice than bet365 or 888. The table compares the key facts from each operator’s own Ontario pages.
| 🏆 Site | 🏢 Operator | 💸 Withdrawal timing (operator wording) | 📱 Apps | ⭐ Our score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ruby Fortune | Cadtree Limited | 24h+ pending, then 24–48h processing; no weekends | iOS | 82 |
| Jackpot City | Cadtree Limited | “Fast Withdrawals”: 48h reversal removed (T&C still mention 24h) | iOS, Android | 86 |
| Spin Casino | Cadtree Limited | “2-7 business days depending on the option” | iOS, Android APK | 85 |
| Royal Vegas | Cadtree Limited | 24h pending, then 1–3 business days | iOS | 81 |
| bet365 | Hillside (International Gaming) ENC | Aims to process within 2 hours | iOS, Android | 90 |
| 888 Casino | VHL Ontario Limited | Processed within one business day, then 2–4 days (Interac) | iOS | 87 |
Speed is where Ruby Fortune loses the most ground; on trust and tools it holds its own against every site in the table.
Ruby Fortune vs Jackpot City
Jackpot City is Ruby Fortune’s closest sibling: same operator, same payment family (Interac Online, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, eCheck) and the same six-level loyalty layout. The difference is speed and apps — Jackpot City advertises “Fast Withdrawals” with the old reversal period removed and has Cadtree apps on both the App Store and Google Play, though its own terms still mention a 24-hour pending period. That is why it scores 86 to Ruby Fortune’s 82.
Ruby Fortune vs Spin Casino and Royal Vegas
Spin Casino adds Paysafecard to the same Cadtree payment menu and offers Android users an APK download. Royal Vegas is the nearest match on withdrawals — a standard 24-hour pending period, then 1–3 business days for Visa, Interac and eCheck — and, like Ruby Fortune, has a Cadtree iOS app. Ruby Fortune edges Royal Vegas on clarity: Royal Vegas’s own pages give conflicting game counts.
Ruby Fortune vs bet365, 888 and the Rest
bet365 is the pick for speed and choice: it aims to process withdrawals within two hours, lists PayPal and Google Pay, and runs a sportsbook. 888 Casino adds MuchBetter, Paysafecard and a toll-free phone line. Betway lists Instadebit and iDebit, Royal Panda uses Interac e-Transfer with Interac eCashout, and Sports Interaction pairs casino and sportsbook. Ruby Fortune’s edge over them is a simpler, slot-focused site and an unusually detailed limit toolkit. See every option on our Ontario casino hub.
Our Ruby Fortune Ontario Rating

| 📊 Dimension | 🔢 Score | 🧾 Why |
|---|---|---|
| Licence & safety | 90 | AGCO OPIG1237898, iGO-listed, named operator, eCOGRA ADR, 2-step login |
| Games | 74 | Strong slots and jackpots; no game count, live tables only as promo tiles |
| Payments | 78 | Interac both ways, no fees; 24h+ pending, no weekends, only 3 payout routes |
| Mobile | 80 | Cadtree iOS app (4.4/5); browser only on Android |
| Support | 76 | 24/7 live chat, English and French; no phone line published |
| Responsible gambling | 94 | Deposit, loss and session limits, 24h delay on increases, breaks, self-exclusion, BetGuard |
| Overall | 82 | Average of the six dimensions |
The six scores average exactly 82, matching our overall rating for the brand.
What Would Raise the Score
Two changes would push Ruby Fortune into the high 80s: dropping the reverse-withdrawal window as Jackpot City says it has, and publishing an Android app plus a public live-casino lobby. We will re-check the Ontario pages and update this review when they change.
