Apple Pay Casinos in Canada 2026: Apple Pay & Google Pay Compared

No offshore Apple Pay casino in Canada on our list takes the wallet directly: Roobet (92/100) and Vave (90/100) accept Apple Pay and Google Pay only to buy crypto through third parties. Direct Apple Pay deposits exist mainly at Ontario-regulated sites such as bet365 and 888.

We read every cashier page, payment FAQ and withdrawal policy from a Canadian IP in October 2026, alongside Apple’s and Google’s Canadian pages. We did not make real-money deposits; all limits and timings are the operators’ own.

The offshore sites here are not regulated by your province. Residents of Ontario and Alberta should use their province’s regulated sites. 19+ (18+ in AB, MB, QC).

Best Apple Pay Casinos in Canada for 2026

The short answer: no offshore casino on our list takes Apple Pay or Google Pay as a direct cashier deposit. Roobet (92/100) and Vave (90/100) let you use either wallet to buy crypto through a third party, and that crypto then funds your casino balance.

Apple Pay works as a true casino payment method in Canada mainly at Ontario-regulated sites. bet365 Ontario lists it for deposits and withdrawals, 888 Casino Ontario pays out to it, and the Cadtree sites (Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune) accept it for deposits only. Those sites are open only to players who are 19+ and physically in Ontario.

We built this guide from the operators’ own cashier pages, payment FAQs and terms, read from a Canadian IP in October 2026, plus Apple’s and Google’s Canadian product pages. We did not deposit or withdraw real money. Every limit, time and fee below is the operator’s own wording, verified on the operator’s site in October 2026.

Best for Apple Pay Crypto Top-Ups: Roobet

Roobet’s cashier includes a Buy Crypto option powered by Swapped.com that accepts cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The help centre gives a minimum of $10.00 USD and says the purchase lands “instantly or within a few minutes”, rarely taking up to 30 minutes.

What makes Roobet the better fit for most Canadians is the way out. Its help centre describes Interac e-Transfer (via Gigadat) for both deposits and withdrawals, with withdrawals taking 1–3 business days to reach your bank after processing. So you can top up with your phone wallet and still have a Canadian bank route for cashing out.

Roobet is an offshore operator, not regulated by any Canadian province. Its help centre lists 11 cryptocurrencies, 24/7 live chat, and deposit, loss and wager limits. Our rating: 92/100. Read the full Roobet review for bonus and game details.

Best Crypto-Only Option: Vave

Vave is a crypto-only casino. Its payment section lists a “buy crypto via third parties” route that names VISA/Mastercard, GooglePay & ApplePay, GiroPay, Changelly, Onramper and bank transfer, plus MoonPay as a separate option.

Once the coins are in your account, Vave says withdrawals are typically processed in 10 minutes, with some options taking up to 3 business days, and it charges no fees of its own. The catch: there is no CAD account. Balances are held in BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT or XRP, so your phone wallet is only the first step of a crypto trip.

Vave’s terms also say players from Canada cannot play NYX (NextGen) games, and its responsible-gambling tools include deposit, loss and wager limits plus cooling-off periods. Our rating: 90/100. See the Vave review for the full picture.

Where Apple Pay Is a Real Cashier Method: Ontario

If you live in Ontario, you are in the one Canadian market where Apple Pay is listed as a standard deposit method at several regulated casinos. Seven of the nine Ontario sites we profile name Apple Pay on their payment pages, and two (bet365 and Royal Panda) also name Google Pay.

We cover those sites further down as plain payment facts, with links to our Ontario online casino guide. Offshore casinos are not for Ontario residents, and the same applies in Alberta, which launched its own regulated market on July 13, 2026 — see our Alberta online casino guide.

Apple Pay and Google Pay Casinos Compared

The table shows every casino in our database whose own pages mention Apple Pay or Google Pay, and what each one actually lets you do with the wallet. “Buy crypto” means the wallet pays a third-party provider, not the casino.

Only two casinos on the whole list, both Ontario-regulated, pay winnings back to Apple Pay; everywhere else the wallet is a one-way door in, so plan your withdrawal method before you deposit.

How We Checked Apple Pay Support

We checked support method by method on each operator’s own pages, not on banners or app-store blurbs. A casino only counts as “Apple Pay” here if its cashier table, payment-methods page or payments help article names the wallet.

What We Read

  • Cashier and payment pages: deposit and withdrawal tables, method cards with ticks and crosses, minimums and maximums.
  • Help-centre articles: Roobet’s Swapped.com guide, bet365’s deposit and withdrawal method tables, Sports Interaction’s Apple Pay FAQ.
  • Terms and withdrawal policies: pending periods, processing days and who pays fees.
  • Apple and Google: apple.com/ca, Apple’s Canadian support pages and pay.google.com (Canadian edition) for how the wallets work and what they cost.

What We Did Not Do

We did not open accounts, tap a phone at a casino cashier or cash anything out. When we say a withdrawal takes “up to 6 business days”, that is the operator’s published figure, not a stopwatch reading.

Where two pages from the same operator disagree, we say so and use the more specific one. Ruby Fortune is an example: its banking page tags all six methods as deposit-and-withdrawal, while its payment-methods page marks Apple Pay as deposit-only. Our scoring approach is explained on the how we rate casinos page.

How Apple Pay Works at an Online Casino

Apple Pay is not a balance you load; it is a secure layer on top of a card you already have. Apple’s Canadian support page puts it simply: to set it up, “add a debit or credit card to the Wallet app on your iPhone, Apple Watch, or other compatible device.”

That has a practical consequence at a casino. When you pay with Apple Pay, your bank sees a card transaction, and your card issuer’s rules decide whether it goes through. Apple’s requirement list says you need “a supported card from a participating card issuer”.

A Device Number Instead of Your Card Number

Apple says that when you make a purchase, “Apple Pay uses a device-specific number and unique transaction code”, so your actual card number “isn’t shared by Apple with merchants or stored on Apple servers.”

For casino players, that matters more than it sounds. Offshore sites in particular handle payments through processors you have never heard of. With Apple Pay, the merchant never receives the 16 digits printed on your card, which limits the damage if a processor’s database is ever breached.

Face ID, Touch ID or Passcode on Every Payment

Apple’s page states that Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode “is required for purchases on your iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac or iPad”, and that “your identity isn’t shared with merchants”.

That authentication step protects you from someone else spending on your card. It does not slow you down, though: a deposit takes a glance or a thumb. We come back to why that speed deserves a deposit limit in the responsible-gambling section.

No Apple Fees on Payments

Apple answers the fee question directly: “Apple does not charge any fees when you use Apple Pay — in stores, online or in apps.” Any cost you see comes from somewhere else.

The usual suspects are your card issuer (some treat gambling payments on credit cards as cash advances, with their own fee and interest rules — check your cardholder agreement), the crypto provider’s spread if you are buying coins, and currency conversion if the transaction is in USD.

How Google Pay Works for Casino Deposits

Google Pay plays the same role on Android phones and in Chrome: it stores your card and presents it to the merchant at checkout. Google’s Canadian page describes it as adding “your card details to your Google Account”, where “they will be stored safely for a smoother checkout experience.”

Cards Stored in Your Google Account

You add cards to Google Wallet on your phone, and Google says you can then “tap to pay with them at the world’s leading retailers.” Online, the stored card appears as a Google Pay button at checkout.

Like Apple Pay, Google Pay never becomes the source of your money. The card underneath is charged, so the same bank rules, credit-versus-debit questions and possible card blocks apply.

Fraud Alerts and Encryption

Google lists “built-in authentication, transaction encryption, and fraud protection” and, for online payments, “fraud alerts and encryption”. That is comparable protection to Apple’s, delivered in Google’s own way.

Google Pay Is Rarer at Casinos Than Apple Pay

In our data, Google Pay appears at only two Ontario sites (bet365 and Royal Panda) and two offshore crypto on-ramps (Roobet and Vave). 888 Casino Ontario’s pages do not list it at all.

If you use an Android phone and want a mobile-friendly deposit at an offshore site, Interac e-Transfer from your banking app is usually the more realistic route. Our mobile casinos guide covers how the cashiers behave on phones.

Offshore Casinos: Apple Pay Means Buying Crypto

At the offshore casinos we review, Apple Pay and Google Pay show up only inside crypto-purchase tools. You are not paying the casino with Apple Pay; you are paying a crypto provider, which then sends coins to your casino wallet.

That distinction changes almost everything: what you pay in fees, which company handles any problem with the purchase, the currency your balance is held in and how you get money back out. None of the 12 core brands in our real money casino rankings lists Apple Pay as a direct cashier method.

Roobet and Swapped.com

Roobet’s help centre has a dedicated article on depositing with Swapped. The method is described as “Buy Crypto via Swapped.com” and accepts cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, from $10.00 USD.

Timing is quick by crypto standards: instant or within a few minutes, and only rarely up to 30 minutes. The route is deposit-only. Nothing in Roobet’s help centre suggests a withdrawal can go back through Swapped or to your phone wallet.

The help centre lists 11 coins on the deposit side — BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, XRP, TRX, DOGE, SOL, SUI and BNB — with confirmation counts of one for BTC and XRP and three for ETH, LTC, USDT and USDC.

Roobet’s Other Deposit Options

If you would rather skip the crypto step, Roobet’s help centre also describes Visa and Mastercard deposits from $10 to $5,000, credited instantly (up to 1 hour). The currency for those card limits is not stated, so don’t assume C$.

There is also Interac e-Transfer via Gigadat, plus MuchBetter, AstroPay, Jeton and Vega Wallet, which Roobet says are available only in some locations. For most Canadians, Interac is the cleaner path because it works for withdrawals too.

Vave’s Third-Party Crypto Purchase

Vave’s FAQ names a set of third-party ways to buy crypto: VISA/Mastercard, GooglePay & ApplePay, GiroPay, Changelly, Onramper and bank transfer. MoonPay is listed separately, and deposits are credited after one network confirmation.

The one figure that matters for most players is 20 USDT (or the equivalent in crypto), the general minimum deposit to qualify for a deposit bonus. If you want the Thursday Reload (100% up to 2,500 USDT) or the welcome offer headline of up to 1.5 BTC, buy at least that much after the provider’s fees.

Vave’s site loads in a phone browser, and its menu points to a downloadable app (platforms not specified). The screenshot below shows the mobile site as it loaded from Canada.

Vave mobile site on a phone, viewed from Canada

What the Crypto Step Costs You

Here is a worked example. Say you want C$100 of play. Your Apple Pay card is charged in USD by the crypto provider, so your bank converts C$ to USD first and may add a foreign-transaction fee. The provider then quotes a coin price that usually includes a spread.

When you later cash out, the casino sends crypto to your wallet, and turning it back into Canadian dollars adds another conversion. Two conversions plus price movement can easily eat more than a small win, so compare the all-in cost with an Interac deposit before you commit.

Pro Tip:
Buy a stablecoin such as USDT or USDC rather than Bitcoin if your only goal is funding a casino balance. The value tracks the US dollar, so you are not taking a crypto price bet on top of your casino bets.

How to Fund an Offshore Balance With Apple Pay

  1. Check your province first. If you live in Ontario or Alberta, use your province’s regulated sites instead of an offshore casino.
  2. Open the casino cashier and pick the crypto-purchase option (Swapped.com at Roobet; a third-party provider at Vave).
  3. Choose the coin and amount. At Roobet the minimum is $10.00 USD; at Vave, buy at least 20 USDT if you want a deposit bonus.
  4. Select Apple Pay or Google Pay on the provider’s checkout and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, your passcode or your Android lock.
  5. Complete any checks the provider asks for. Crypto sellers run their own identity checks, separate from the casino’s.
  6. Wait for the credit. Roobet quotes instant to a few minutes, rarely up to 30; Vave credits deposits after one network confirmation.

More options that skip phone wallets entirely are in our crypto casinos guide, including which sites pay out in coins within minutes.

Apple Pay at Ontario-Regulated Casinos

Ontario is where Apple Pay works as a normal casino deposit method. The sites below are regulated by the AGCO and operate through iGaming Ontario; they are available only to players 19+ who are physically located in Ontario. We list payment facts only — Ontario rules restrict how offers can be advertised, so you will find no promotions here.

These sites run Canadian-dollar cashiers with Canadian payment tables. If you are not in Ontario, these sites are not available to you; skip to the withdrawals section for the general picture.

bet365 Ontario: Apple Pay In and Out

bet365’s Ontario help centre has the most complete Apple Pay entry we found. The deposit table lists Apple Pay as “Instant”, C$10 to C$50,000, with the payment type shown as credit/debit card. Google Pay sits right below it: instant, C$10 to C$10,000.

bet365 Casino Ontario deposit methods page (October 2026)

On the way out, bet365 lists Apple Pay withdrawals as instant, C$10 to C$40,000, paid back to the card where possible and otherwise by bank transfer. Google Pay withdrawals go by bank transfer. The help centre says bet365 aims to process withdrawals within 2 hours of the request.

The withdrawal table also shows the alternatives: Interac and cards in 1–4 hours, wire within 12 hours (up to C$25,000) and PayPal from C$20. The screenshot below shows the top of that table.

bet365 is operated by Hillside (International Gaming) ENC, registered with the AGCO under OPIG1232411. More in our bet365 Ontario review.

888 Casino Ontario: Withdrawals in Up to 6 Days

888 Casino’s Ontario “Accepted Payment Methods” table lists Apple Pay for deposits and withdrawals, with a C$10 minimum deposit that arrives in up to 10 minutes. The minimum withdrawal is $5 for all payment methods.

The withdrawal time-frames page explains the timing: 1 business day in “awaiting process” (you can cancel during that day), then up to 5 days for Apple Pay, for a total of up to 6 business days. Interac and MuchBetter are faster at 2–4 business days in total.

888 Casino Ontario withdrawal time frames page (October 2026)

888 says it charges no fee of its own but that “your bank or payment processor may levy a fee to process your withdrawal.” Google Pay is not on its list. Details in our 888 Casino Ontario review.

Jackpot City Ontario: Deposit-Only Apple Pay

Jackpot City’s Ontario payment page shows Apple Pay as an “E-Wallet” with a tick for deposit and a cross for withdrawal. The page describes it as “a secure digital wallet allowing quick, contactless deposits directly via your Apple device.” Minimum deposits “generally” start from C$10.

Jackpot City Casino Ontario payment methods more page (October 2026)

To cash out, you would use Interac Online (1–3 business days), Visa (1–24 hours) or eCheck (1–3 business days). The page says Jackpot City “does not charge internal fees”. See our Jackpot City Ontario review.

Spin Casino and Royal Vegas: The Same Cashier

Spin Casino and Royal Vegas belong to the same Ontario operator as Jackpot City (Cadtree Limited), and their payment pages tell the same story: Apple Pay for deposits, not for withdrawals. Spin Casino labels it a “Wallet”; Royal Vegas calls it a “Web Wallet”.

Spin Casino Ontario payment methods more page (October 2026)

Spin Casino says “the minimum deposit for all methods is $10” and its minimum withdrawal is C$50, with no stated maximum above that. Royal Vegas shows a $10 minimum on its Apple Pay card and states it charges no deposit or withdrawal fees, though your bank or provider may.

Royal Vegas Casino Ontario payment methods more page (October 2026)

Royal Vegas mentions a standard 24-hour pending period for review before withdrawals move. Reviews: Spin Casino Ontario and Royal Vegas Ontario.

Ruby Fortune Ontario

Ruby Fortune, the fourth Cadtree site, shows Apple Pay alongside Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and eCheck on its payment-methods page. That page classes Apple Pay as deposit-only, while the banking page labels every method for both directions; we go with the more specific split.

Ruby Fortune Casino Ontario payment methods page (October 2026)

Ruby Fortune says it “does not charge fees for standard transactions”. Withdrawals sit pending for at least 24 hours, then take 24–48 hours to process plus a few business days for Interac or Visa. More in the Ruby Fortune Ontario review.

Sports Interaction: No Apple Pay Withdrawals

Sports Interaction’s Ontario help centre has a full Apple Pay FAQ, and it answers the withdrawal question bluntly: “No, Apple Pay does not support withdrawals in Canada.” It also states there are no Sports Interaction fees on Apple Pay deposits.

For payouts, its help centre points to Interac e-Transfer, Visa Direct (typically up to 5 hours to the bank after a payout check, for eligible Visa Debit and prepaid cards), online banking and bank wire. See the Sports Interaction Ontario review.

Google Pay in Ontario: bet365 and Royal Panda

Only two Ontario sites in our data name Google Pay. bet365 lists it for deposits from C$10 to C$10,000, with withdrawals sent by bank transfer. Royal Panda’s help article lists GooglePay next to Interac e-Transfer and LeoCard, with a C$10 minimum deposit.

Royal Panda’s homepage FAQ, however, lists only Visa, Mastercard, Bank and Interac — the two pages disagree, so check the cashier when you log in. It does not list Apple Pay. See our Royal Panda Ontario review.

For an Ontario player who wants Apple Pay both ways, bet365 is the clear match on paper, with 888 Casino second; at the four Cadtree sites, Apple Pay is a deposit button only.

Can You Withdraw to Apple Pay or Google Pay?

Usually not. Out of the ten casinos in our comparison, only bet365 Ontario and 888 Casino Ontario list Apple Pay as a withdrawal method, and no casino lists Google Pay withdrawals to the wallet itself. Everywhere else, you cash out with a different method.

That is normal for card-based wallets. A payout to Apple Pay is really a refund-style credit to the card behind it, and many casinos and card issuers simply do not support that route. 888’s withdrawal policy even notes that some Visa credit-card issuers in Canada do not allow withdrawals to Visa credit cards.

Why Most Phone-Wallet Deposits Are One-Way

Card networks treat a casino payout to a card differently from a purchase. Some issuers accept these credits quickly; others don’t accept them at all. Rather than promise a route that fails for part of their players, many casinos keep Apple Pay as a deposit button and send winnings by bank methods.

Sports Interaction’s FAQ states it as a flat rule for Canada: Apple Pay “does not support withdrawals”. The four Cadtree sites in Ontario mark it with a cross in the withdrawal row. At offshore sites, the wallet only touches the crypto provider, so the question doesn’t arise.

What Casinos Use Instead

Each site’s alternative is spelled out on its own pages. Here is what you would actually be paid with:

  • Roobet: Interac e-Transfer, 1–3 business days to your bank after processing, or crypto.
  • Vave: crypto only (BTC, BCH, ETH, DOGE, LTC, TRX, USDT, XRP), typically processed in 10 minutes.
  • Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas (Ontario): Interac, Visa or eCheck, with eCheck at 1–3 business days.
  • Ruby Fortune (Ontario): Interac, Visa or eCheck after a 24-hour pending period.
  • Sports Interaction (Ontario): Interac e-Transfer, Visa Direct, online banking (up to C$50,000) or bank wire (up to C$100,000).
  • bet365 Ontario (Google Pay users): bank transfer, within 12 hours for wire.

If speed is what you care about, compare the stated payout times side by side in our fast withdrawal casinos guide.

Plan Your Exit Route Before You Deposit

Casinos verify that you own the payment method you are withdrawing to. The Cadtree sites’ terms (7.1) list proof of ownership of the payment method among their verification documents, and 888 asks for the front and back of cards used.

So before you tap Apple Pay, make sure a second method in your own name is ready: usually Interac from the same bank account. It avoids the frustrating moment where your winnings are approved but you have nowhere to send them.

Pro Tip:
Upload your ID and proof of address right after you register, not after your first win. 888 Casino Ontario, for example, requires photo ID for your first withdrawal request, and it does not accept a SIN card or health card for this.

Canadian Bank Card Blocks and Apple Pay

Because Apple Pay and Google Pay charge the card underneath, a bank that blocks gambling transactions on a card will usually block them through the wallet too. Some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards; the wallet doesn’t change who approves the payment.

Credit Card or Debit Card Behind the Wallet

Which card you add to the wallet matters. bet365 Ontario’s table shows Apple Pay as “Credit/Debit Card”, so either type can sit behind it there. With a credit card, your issuer may also treat a gambling payment as a cash-like transaction, which can carry different interest rules than a purchase.

Our credit card casinos guide explains how Visa and Mastercard gambling payments behave at Canadian banks and why debit is usually the safer choice for budgeting.

What a Declined Payment Means

A declined Apple Pay deposit at a casino usually means your issuer refused the transaction category, not that the wallet is broken. The fix is to pick another method the casino supports, such as Interac, or to call your bank and ask about its policy.

Watch out:
Don’t try to get around a bank’s gambling block by switching cards, wallets or providers until something goes through. If you or your bank has set a gambling block on purpose, respect it — it is a protection, not a technical obstacle.

Prepaid Cards and Apple Pay

Apple’s set-up page talks about adding a debit or credit card from a participating issuer, and its safety page compares Apple Pay with credit, debit and prepaid cards. At casinos, prepaid cards appear in a few cashiers: bet365’s debit-card row mentions prepaid, and Ruby Fortune’s FAQ says “prepaid cards are accepted for deposits”.

If you like the idea of a fixed spending pot, a voucher may suit you better than a card in a wallet. See our Paysafecard casinos and Flexepin casinos guides.

How to Deposit With Apple Pay or Google Pay

A phone-wallet deposit takes three things: a supported card in your wallet, a casino that offers the wallet at its cashier (or a crypto provider that does), and your Face ID, fingerprint or passcode to confirm.

Setting Up Apple Pay

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone (or Apple Watch, iPad or Mac).
  2. Add a debit or credit card from a participating Canadian issuer.
  3. Verify the card with your bank when prompted.
  4. Turn on Face ID, Touch ID or a passcode — Apple requires one of them for every purchase.

Setting Up Google Pay

  1. Open Google Wallet on your Android phone, or sign in to your Google Account in Chrome.
  2. Add your card details to your Google Account.
  3. Confirm the card with your bank if asked.
  4. Keep a screen lock on so the built-in authentication works for every payment.

Making the Casino Deposit

  1. Register and verify your casino account (ID and proof of address are standard at every site in this guide).
  2. Open the cashier and choose Apple Pay or Google Pay, or the crypto-purchase option at an offshore site.
  3. Enter the amount, at or above the minimum (C$10 at most Ontario sites; $10.00 USD at Roobet’s Swapped option).
  4. Confirm on your device with Face ID, Touch ID, your passcode or your Android lock.
  5. Check the balance. bet365 lists Apple Pay deposits as instant; 888 says up to 10 minutes.
  6. Set your withdrawal method now, in your own name, so a payout isn’t held up later.

Apple Pay Casino Fees and Limits

Apple charges nothing, and none of the casinos in this guide states a fee of its own on Apple Pay deposits. Real costs come from currency conversion, crypto spreads and your card issuer. The table pulls every published limit and fee note together.

🎰 Casino⬇️ Min deposit⬆️ Max deposit💸 Withdrawal route🧾 Fees the operator states
Roobet (Swapped)$10.00 USD—Interac or crypto—
Vave (third parties)20 USDT for bonuses—CryptoNo Vave fees; bank/PSP conversion fees may apply
bet365 (Ontario)C$10C$50,000 (Apple Pay); C$10,000 (Google Pay)Apple Pay up to C$40,000Interac deposits “with no fees applied”
888 Casino (Ontario)C$10—Apple Pay, from $5No 888 fee; bank or processor may charge
Jackpot City (Ontario)C$10—Interac, Visa, eCheckNo internal fees
Spin Casino (Ontario)C$10—Interac, Visa, eCheck (min C$50)—
Royal Vegas (Ontario)C$10—Interac, Visa, eCheckNo deposit or withdrawal fees
Ruby Fortune (Ontario)C$10—Interac, Visa, eCheckNo fees on standard transactions
Sports Interaction (Ontario)——Interac, Visa Direct, banking, wireNo SIA fee on Apple Pay deposits

For a low-stakes player the minimums are what matter, and C$10 is the floor almost everywhere; if you want to start smaller, our minimum deposit casinos guide lists sites with lower entry points.

Currency Conversion on Offshore Deposits

Roobet’s Swapped minimum is in US dollars, and Vave holds balances only in crypto. Either way, your Canadian card is likely billed in a foreign currency, and many Canadian cards add a foreign-transaction fee on top of the exchange rate. Check your card’s terms before you tap.

Wallet Limits Versus Casino Limits

The casino’s maximum isn’t always the binding limit. Your card’s daily limit and your bank’s own online-spending caps also apply to Apple Pay and Google Pay payments. A C$50,000 ceiling at bet365 means little if your debit card allows a fraction of that per day.

Apple Pay in Casino Apps Versus the Browser

Apple Pay works in apps and on the web, so you don’t need a dedicated casino app to use it. Apple’s own wording covers payments “in stores, online or in apps”. What changes between the two is mostly which sites offer an app at all.

Ontario Sites With iPhone Apps

Several of the Ontario Apple Pay sites publish iOS apps in the Canadian App Store. Jackpot City has both an App Store and a Google Play app, sold by Cadtree Limited. Spin Casino, Royal Vegas and Ruby Fortune have iOS apps from the same company, while Spin Casino points Android users to an APK file.

888 Casino’s iOS app description says it is for players located in Ontario or Alberta, and bet365 lists a Casino Games app for Android and iOS on its system-requirements page. Royal Panda, the Google Pay site, runs as a mobile-optimised website only.

Offshore Sites in a Phone Browser

At Roobet and Vave, the crypto purchase happens inside the cashier, which you can open in Safari or Chrome on your phone; Vave’s menu also offers an app, without naming platforms. The crypto provider’s checkout is where the Apple Pay or Google Pay button appears.

Whichever route you take, keep your phone’s lock screen and biometrics on. A phone that unlocks without a passcode turns a convenient wallet into an open one.

Apple Pay Casino Pros and Cons

Apple Pay is an excellent deposit tool where it is a native cashier method and a clumsy one where it is just a crypto on-ramp. Here is the balance as we see it.

Pros:

  • Your real card number is never shared with the casino or processor
  • Face ID, Touch ID or passcode required on every payment
  • No fees from Apple, in stores, online or in apps
  • Instant deposits at bet365 Ontario, up to 10 minutes at 888 Ontario
  • Withdrawals to Apple Pay at bet365 and 888 in Ontario

Cons:

  • Offshore casinos only accept it via third-party crypto purchases
  • Deposit-only at most sites; you need a second method to cash out
  • Bank gambling blocks on cards apply through the wallet too
  • Crypto route adds currency conversion and price risk
  • Google Pay is offered at very few casinos

Best Alternatives to Apple Pay at Offshore Casinos

If you are outside Ontario and Alberta and want a fast, phone-friendly deposit at an offshore site, Interac e-Transfer is the most practical alternative, followed by debit cards, e-wallets and crypto bought directly. Each one also gives you a withdrawal route, which Apple Pay usually doesn’t.

Interac e-Transfer From Your Banking App

Interac works from the banking app already on your phone, in Canadian dollars, with no crypto step. Casino Days (88/100, licensed through the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, CPA No. 01054) lists Interac e-Transfer for deposits and withdrawals from $10 to $9,999, marked instant.

Casino Days’ homepage says it processes most requests within 5 minutes and that Interac e-Transfers “typically land in your account in under 30 minutes”, while its Interac page allows 1–3 business days for funds to reach your bank. Its payment page is shown below.

Casino Days runs a separate site for Ontario, and its offshore site is not for Ontario or Alberta residents. Compare more Interac sites in our best Interac casinos guide, or read the Casino Days review.

Visa and Mastercard Directly

If you were planning to use Apple Pay with a card anyway, paying with the card itself is the closest substitute. Stake (94/100) accepts Visa and Mastercard in CAD from C$5 to C$3,000 per transaction, for deposits and withdrawals, with card payouts going back to the original card and taking up to 3 business days.

Stake’s help centre also offers Interac e-Transfer withdrawals (up to 3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays) and asks you to verify your email before a first CAD deposit. Stake is offshore and not regulated by a Canadian province. Full details in our Stake review.

E-Wallets With Withdrawals

Unlike Apple Pay, e-wallets hold a balance and can receive payouts. Casino Days lists Payz (deposits to $20,000, withdrawals from $20) and Jeton; TonyBet targets Skrill and Neteller withdrawals within 12 hours; Roobet takes MuchBetter deposits where available.

See our guides to MuchBetter casinos, Skrill casinos and Payz casinos for the sites that support each one both ways.

Crypto Bought Directly

If you already hold crypto on a Canadian exchange, sending it straight to the casino skips the in-cashier purchase and its provider fees. Casino Days lists crypto deposits from $15 and withdrawals from $20, processed in about 6 minutes; Vave says withdrawals are typically processed in 10 minutes.

Every alternative in the table gives you a way to get paid back, which is exactly what a phone wallet lacks at offshore casinos.

Is Apple Pay Safe for Casino Payments?

As a payment tool, yes. Apple calls Apple Pay “safer than using a physical credit, debit or prepaid card”, and the design backs that up. What it cannot do is make the casino itself safe — that depends on who licenses the site and how it treats your money.

What the Wallet Protects

Your card number stays private, each payment needs your face, fingerprint or passcode, and Apple says card numbers “are never stored on Apple servers”. Google offers similar protection with encryption, authentication and fraud alerts.

If your phone is lost, the wallet can’t be used without your biometrics or passcode, which is a real step up from a card lost in a wallet.

What It Can’t Protect

Apple Pay doesn’t resolve a dispute over a voided bonus, a delayed withdrawal or a closed account. At an Ontario site, the AGCO regulates the operator. At an offshore site, you deal with the operator and its licensing body, not your province.

With crypto purchases, the provider is a third company again, with its own terms. Our safe online casinos guide explains how to check a licence and what to look for in withdrawal terms.

Apple Pay Deposits and Casino Bonuses

Whether an Apple Pay deposit qualifies for a bonus depends on the method rules in each casino’s bonus terms. At offshore sites, the wallet funds a crypto purchase, so the casino sees a crypto deposit, and the crypto rules apply.

Vave is a good example: the general minimum to qualify for a deposit bonus is 20 USDT, the maximum bet while a casino bonus is active is 5 USDT, and table and live dealer games do not count toward bonus wagering (verified on the operator’s site in October 2026).

Always read the “excluded payment methods” line before you deposit, and work out what the wagering means in real bets with our wagering requirements guide.

Apple Pay itself is just a payment method, so the legal question is about the casino, not the wallet. Under the Criminal Code, gambling is legal when it is conducted and managed by a provincial government or under its licence, and each province runs its own online market. The full picture is in our online gambling legality guide.

Ontario

Ontario has a regulated market overseen by the AGCO, with iGaming Ontario managing it through operator agreements. You must be 19+ and physically in Ontario. Use only sites on iGO’s list, such as the Apple Pay sites listed above.

Alberta

Alberta’s regulated iGaming market launched on July 13, 2026, with AGLC as regulator and the Alberta iGaming Corporation managing the market; 22 registered sites were approved at launch. The age is 18+. Albertans should use those registered sites.

British Columbia, Quebec and Other Provinces

In British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, the government site is PlayNow.com; in Quebec it is Loto-Québec; Atlantic Canada has the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. Offshore sites accept players from many of these provinces but are not regulated by them. More in our British Columbia and Quebec guides.

Offshore Disclosure

Roobet, Vave, Stake and Casino Days are offshore casinos and not regulated by your province. If a dispute arises, you deal with the operator and its licensing body. Residents of Ontario and Alberta should use their province’s regulated sites, not the offshore brands on this page. Ages: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.

Responsible Gambling With One-Tap Deposits

One-tap payments remove the pause that typing a card number used to give you. Set a deposit limit in the casino account before your first Apple Pay deposit, not after a bad session.

The sites in this guide offer the tools: Roobet has wager, loss and deposit limits (up to three active), a 24-hour time-out and self-exclusion from 1 day to permanent; Vave offers deposit, loss and wager limits, cooling-off from 1 week to 6 months and self-exclusion.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Offshore, Roobet and Vave accept Apple Pay only to buy crypto through third-party providers. Direct Apple Pay deposits are listed by Ontario-regulated sites: bet365, 888 Casino, Jackpot City, Spin Casino, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune and Sports Interaction, for players in Ontario only.

Rarely. In our research only bet365 Ontario (instant, up to C$40,000) and 888 Casino Ontario (up to 6 business days) list Apple Pay withdrawals. Elsewhere you cash out by Interac, Visa, eCheck, bank transfer or crypto.

A few do. bet365 Ontario lists Google Pay deposits from C$10 to C$10,000, and Royal Panda Ontario’s help centre names it too. Offshore, Roobet and Vave accept Google Pay only for buying crypto in the cashier.

Apple charges no fees. Costs can come from your card issuer, currency conversion if you are billed in USD, and the crypto provider’s spread when you buy coins at an offshore casino. The casinos in our guide state no Apple Pay deposit fee of their own.

Apple Pay charges the card behind it, so your bank’s rules apply. Some Canadian banks block gambling transactions on credit cards. Use another method the casino supports, such as Interac, rather than trying to get around a block.

As a payment method, yes: it uses a device-specific number instead of your card number and needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. It does not protect you from casino disputes, so check the site’s licence and withdrawal terms.

At the Ontario sites in our guide it is C$10. Roobet’s Swapped.com crypto purchase starts at $10.00 USD, and Vave’s general minimum to qualify for a deposit bonus is 20 USDT.
